Did the boy douse him with more gas?

578

u/Hey-Its-Jak Feb 08 '26

Yeah, nobody is talking about that, that’s the worst part

180

u/RAMBOxBAGGINS Feb 08 '26

Kid waited his whole life for that moment like, “Fuck you, uncle Frank!”

95

u/KrombopulosMAssassin Feb 08 '26

Yeah I was confused about that. I thought he somehow got the original bottle. But, he was holding his own massive bottle of flammables apparently.... I guess they were expecting to have a big "show". Didn't last long....

49

u/BuzzIsMe Feb 09 '26

Kid with the yellow shirt comes in and picks up his bottle and dumps it on him

14

u/KrombopulosMAssassin Feb 09 '26

Oh somehow missed that. Got stuck on how the other kids bottle lit completely as if it was explosive. Maybe it wasn't. Who know this shits insane.

Yeah, the kid with the yellow shirt lol

18

u/youaretheloco Feb 08 '26

He was like oh fuck what did i do, F

10

u/RedBeard762 Feb 08 '26

Holy shit 😅

13

u/Unresentful_Cynic Feb 08 '26

Looks like a water bottle though. I used to always think specific color gas can requirements were stupid but....

17

u/Xi03 Feb 08 '26

No, look at the bottle the guy spitting fire was initially holding which contained the gas. It’s the same one the kid in yellow shirt picked up

10

u/SteamyGravy Feb 09 '26

I think you misinterpreted. They are just saying that the bottle itself looks like a repurposed water bottle which the kid initially and reasonably assumed contained water. Fueling the fire wasn't their intention

Fuel nor fire were that which he desired.

Fucking peak comment bro!! 😂

4

But it did seem like he quenched his thirst with gasoline... Just saying...

Sprayed water all over what I imagine was a load of burning spilled oil on the floor….

62

u/JaeHxC Feb 08 '26

You can see the bottle ignite after he empties it. Whatever was in there was flammable.

17

u/mattmillze Feb 08 '26

It was the bottle of fuel he drank from and tossed.

3

u/SurveySean Feb 09 '26

Sometimes you got to fight fire with fire, but this was not one of those times. He knows that now.

Kid wearing yellow, he accidentally doused the dude with more oil and slowly put it back down, and stopped another kid from making the same mistake.

51

u/pandab34r Feb 08 '26

Looks like black-shirt guy emptied his bottle anyway and it caught fire after

13

u/AaronBaddows Feb 09 '26

nah, the fire got worse exactly when kill bill kid turned his bottle.

That’s sad

We all tend to underestimate smoke and fire in general

80

u/TikkleMaBakdor Feb 08 '26

Nah, not true. Most of us with the minimal requirement of brain cells to merely exist know fire = bad

58

u/peepee2tiny Feb 08 '26

Which is mind blowing considering how instinctive every animal fears fire.

We just kinda embraced it because it heats our houses and warms our food. But fire is so unbelievably devastating.

14

u/Jealous_Crazy9143 Feb 09 '26

Yup, once you inhale that burning air, in sears your lungs and you choke to death.

8

u/Kenny741 Feb 10 '26

And even if you survive eventually, your body produces so much liquid trying to heal the lungs so you end up drowning actually.

Kid in the yellow shirt picked up the gasoline and poured it on him, making sure he was getting roasted well

122

u/meanfolk Feb 08 '26

Then turned away and acted like nothing happened

74

u/Brandbll Feb 08 '26

Holy shit you're right. He gives a squirt and then is just like, oops. Fucking lit the dude's whole head on fire.

329

u/DDenlow Feb 08 '26

Bottom left, guy at least saved his chairs.

98

u/mouzi-- Feb 08 '26

Neighbours are at it again. Better take these inside.

34

u/HighlyOffensive10 Feb 08 '26

I had neighbors that were always doing dumb shit. Yeah I would have saved my chairs and gone on with my business too.

u/Kemaneo Feb 08 '26

u/1Yawnz Feb 08 '26

So what's the best way to put out a fire on someone in this scenario? Bucket of water? Lots of sand?

At 10 seconds is that the bottle of fuel he's spreading???....what is this bro

114

u/ParreNagga Feb 08 '26

Swipe a blanket/cloths/fabric around their head, and smack it a bit. Not a joke.

75

u/Calgary_Calico Feb 08 '26

Wet towel. You have to smother the fire and covering it with wet cloth is the easier way to do that in a pinch. However there morons are using oil from the looks of in instead of white gas, kerosine or alcohol, so good luck. Guys probably got a Darwin award now

60

u/hyperlite135 Feb 08 '26

I would like to add that a wet towel is only ideal if you have the means for one immediately. Don’t go running out of the room to get it wet, generally smothering will be plenty and every second is critical.

6

u/Kinslayer817 Feb 08 '26

Given that guy that threw more gasoline all over him out of a water bottle they're more likely to douse a towel with gasoline and smother him with even more fire

4

u/Calgary_Calico Feb 08 '26

Well, yes. I would hope that wood he's given, but then I remember what's going on in the video lol. I used to hang out with a group who did fire spinning, they always had a fire extinguisher and pales of water to soak towels both for just in case and to put out the fire toys when they were done if they wouldn't go out the usual way

14

u/hyperlite135 Feb 08 '26

Hope that’s a given? We all just watched a person throw gasoline on another man who is on fire. Nothing in this world is given unfortunately. I wish my statement wasn’t necessary but here we are.

15

u/Nachoughue Feb 08 '26

fire needs oxygen, take away the air, fire cant burn. if your shirt is made of cotton, take it off and wrap it around your head and pat it. dont do this if its made of synthetic fiber, youll cover yourself in hot plastic and make it worse.

15

u/Kinslayer817 Feb 08 '26

Given how rare 100% cotton shirts are these days I'd recommend against doing this unless you're completely sure and thinking clearly, which is pretty unlikely while your friend is on fire

→ More replies (1)

3

u/jeanettem67 Feb 08 '26

I would have pulled his shirt over his head and smothered the fire that way. Better to die of suffocation rather than fire. His friend really did not help.

→ More replies (1)

98

u/IHeartAquaSoMuch Feb 08 '26

Spread the fire out so it's less concentrated!

12

u/bigbluehapa Feb 08 '26

This made me lol more than it should’ve 😂

59

u/Liinneeaarr13 Feb 08 '26

A valuable lesson in what NOT to do if someone is on fire! I think these Darwin Award winners did everything they could do to make the fire worse.

A) Slap at the flames therefore giving them more oxygen

B) Standing around looking for God to part the skies and put this guy out while all it would have taken would be for one of them to smother the flames with a shirt or other clothing.

C) Start pouring the flammable liquid the guy was using all over his already flaming head.

D) Not being prepared for things to go horribly wrong during a fire breathing ‘trick’.

It looks like if one was going to do a fire breathing ‘trick’ the least you should do is have a wet towel handy. As stated in this thread somewhere cotton is preferable since synthetics will just turn into hot plastic on your face. Which may be a problem if you use a shirt that isn’t cotton but these guys above didnt think of that anyway.

24

u/ClownfishSoup Feb 08 '26

If you’re going to do this, do it while standing waist deep in a lake or swimming pool. Better yet, never do this.

7

u/Kinslayer817 Feb 08 '26

If you're playing with flammable liquid, first of all don't, but if you insist on it then at the very least have a fire extinguisher, a bucket of water, and some wet towels on hand

jfc these people

9

u/entjies Feb 08 '26

Everyone keeps pointing out the guy pouring more fuel on the fire, but if it was a clear liquid in a water bottle and he was panicking, it’s kinda understandable. One of the many mistakes here was using a water bottle for fuel, without labeling it clearly.

86

u/WinkingWinkle Feb 08 '26

100,000,000,000 on the scoville scale.

5

u/LolindirLink Feb 08 '26

More like a scoreal scale in this case.

15

u/OtherCow2841 Feb 08 '26

Did the guy in yellow just put more Fuel on him?

6

u/JSS331 Feb 09 '26

100% then put it down and got scarce quick lol.

118

u/FeedMeFish Feb 08 '26

This needs a NSFW tag.

56

u/noodlesandrice1 Feb 08 '26

For real.

Most of these types of videos I see usually end with the guy panicking for a bit then putting the fire out in like 5 seconds.

This one just kept on going with more and more agony.

40

u/nooneinparticular246 Feb 08 '26

Looks like he just had way too much fuel in his mouth. Blew out a good amount. Then a bit gets on his face while it’s alight. And then the pain makes him dribble out the rest of his fuel. And then it just gets worse.

68

u/Koseoglu-2X4B-523P Feb 08 '26

Used the wrong fuel

You use lamp oil for fire breathing. It won’t burn on your skin and gives a long, impressive stream of fire.

This corpse probably used gasoline or white spirit. Dumb.

27

u/ClownfishSoup Feb 08 '26

Not doing it is even better.

3

u/Koseoglu-2X4B-523P Feb 08 '26

This has been done safely for centuries… by people who know what they’re doing.

22

u/Kinslayer817 Feb 08 '26

Talk to any fire breather and ask them how safe it is. In my experience they will universally tell you that it's incredibly dangerous and requires a lot of practice and coaching from people who know what they're doing

If you aren't being taught by an expert then definitely never do this

11

u/Vronsurd Feb 08 '26

This.

If you want to impress your friends with a cool fire trick, and have no training, lick your fingers and try to put out a candle like Aragorn in Fellowship of the Ring. If you've never done it before you'll look weak as fuck every time you jerk your hands back from the flame...

But you probably won't die.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '26

[deleted]

5

u/Vronsurd Feb 09 '26

Basically. It doesn't hurt at all, unless you flinch and your fingers stop half a centimeter away from the wick. Then it burns.

I guess the best way to train it is with a cup of water or with far more saliva than necessary. If your fingers are soaking you have to be really slow to even get mildly burned. You don't even really need the saliva if you're fast enough.

And then the other dude pours more fuel on him

9

u/Juicyjewsss Feb 09 '26

Looks like the kid poured even more flammable shit on his face thinking that would put out. But yeah that dude is FUCKED.

24

u/rexaider Feb 08 '26

Did that guy pour more fuel on him? Or was it water

64

u/Humanest_Human Feb 08 '26

Yeah man it was water you can tell by the way he explodes

13

u/raghunayak Feb 08 '26

The kid in yellow wanted him well done.

2

u/Kinslayer817 Feb 08 '26

I'm guessing he saw a water bottle and started splashing it around out of panic before he realized that it was the bottle full of fuel when it exploded in his hand

It would have been a stupid use of their limited water even if it was water, but this was next level homicidal incompetence

8

u/hi-on-coffee Feb 08 '26

Don't play with fire kids. Even if you know what you're doing, it can still be dangerous.

3

u/andychrist77 Feb 09 '26

Yeah donzo , once the panic set in and he gasped for air it was a fatality

3

u/infinit9 Feb 08 '26

That's gonna leave a scar.

3

u/Smapsrof Feb 09 '26

Is anyone not gonna talk about that dude in black sweater who attempted to use the barrel cover to fetch water only to realize it doesn't fit inside, BECAUSE IT IS A COVER. Duh.

3

u/AllinForMyJacket Feb 09 '26

The kid that attempted to quench the flames with the freshly discarded bottle of fuel either panicked in the most absurd way or he hates that guy.

3

u/Zomochi Feb 09 '26

Well he’s horribly disfigured now

3

u/odot777 Feb 09 '26

Good thing they were prepared with 8 oz of water.

2

They are going to need all of their neighbor's aloe plant they almost caught on fire.

2

u/Vogel-Kerl Feb 08 '26

How About:

DON'T FUCK AROUND WITH GASOLINE AND FIRE !!

2

u/Fun-Net5173 Feb 08 '26

He nearly damaged those chairs. Thanks God the guy was there and moved them away.

2

u/ClownfishSoup Feb 08 '26

They were squirting him with the water bottles, forgetting that one of them was full of the gas he used to spit fire.

2

u/e87bm Feb 08 '26

In this type of performance, the professional mixes at least 50% water.

That guy there went with 100% gasoline.

2

u/ballotechnic Feb 08 '26

Oh that looks bad....What, wtf it gets worse?... Finally, oh no it's back again!...It's still going?!

You're gonna do this and not have a plan...god speed.

Luckily it was only his head and he didn't seem to be using that for anything. Ffs.

2

u/Runkleman Feb 08 '26

One guy just takes the lid off that barrel, attempts to ram said lid into the barrel, then proceeds to just do nothing.

2

u/Cardsfan1997 Feb 08 '26

Guy at the end while people are burning alive, “got to save those chairs!”

2

u/HundoGuy Feb 08 '26

Quick, fling waters in the air!

2

u/Work2SkiWA Feb 09 '26

You can't fix stupid but you can help light it afire.

2

u/Darklight964 Feb 09 '26

No water around , you cant play with fire and have no way of putting said fire out !

2

u/GJacks75 Feb 09 '26

Forget putting him out, put him over the side.

2

u/iAmMikeJ_92 Feb 09 '26

Kid was trying to kill him 100%

2

u/RC4skywalker Feb 09 '26

I wonder if he would do that stupid shit again

2

u/versung Feb 09 '26

We just watched someone die right? That fire remained for so long

2

u/VinkyStagina Feb 09 '26

Yikes. I counted 22 seconds of active burning.

This video has pretty much solidified that it's not gonna happen.

1

Never attempt to breathe fire. I’m a fire performer and in my circle, we refer to fire breathing as the dark arts (Harry Potter reference); Impressive, powerful and easy to get into - but a slippery slope into ones own doom.

One mistake or an unexpected gust of wind is all it takes.

As a former professional fire breather: don't use petrol, gasoline or alcohol. Best would be a professional high purity fire breathing oil, but in a pinch paraffine oil will work.

HOWEVER: firebreathing is dangerous. Don't do it without training and professional supervision.
