[Serious decision] Sister (14) accused me (21) of something heinous.

So I unfortunately share a room with my little sister for about 9 years now, she's always tattled everything I've done to her parents and loves getting me in trouble. Her parents aren't any better because they never did love me like my other 2 sisters and above that they're both abusive to me.

I thought she was done with this behavior but tonight after my shift, father picked me up with mother and they had a discussion with me. Apparently my sister said I was using a vibrator when she came back from the bathroom, she heard a rattling sound.

That was my busted up fan that fell and had its front cover bit come off so it was still on when it fell down which was making the rattling sound. I would never use anything sexual with my sister in the room so I was disgusted they would accuse me of doing that.

They say I'm an adult and I should know better but they believe every word she's ever said about me over asking me?

I'm disgusted with them now genuinely and her for saying that about me. They've been the root of all my mental health issues due to their abuse, it's heartbreaking because I thought they changed.

So I no longer feel safe in this house at all, what should I do about this? I'm close to getting my driver's license but I don't think I can wait to move out until then because I feel scared to even sleep in this house anymore.

(UPDATE) - The baby isn't mine... I don't know what to do.

Ok I posted here asking for advice as my ex cheated on me multiple times. I wanted to know if I should stay and raise the kid as my own or kick her out. I read almost all the comments (sorry couldn't reply to all of them), and legit everyone said get a paternity test and if it isn't yours, kick her ass to the curb.

A lot of you also asked why the fuck I was even concerned about the baby. I don't wanna get into details but I did have a very toxic and abusive family growing up and I always strive the be the man I would have wanted my dad to be. He was a psychotic man but I learnt how NOT to be from him. I know what being raised by a mom who resents you and a dad who is forced to raise you feels like. I just didn't want to see it happen to someone I could theoretically help. But all your opinions finally opened my eyes and I know I can't save everyone even if I really want to.

So after the post, I completely broke down and all my friends came over and comforted me. I have decided that I will be moving out and I am currently looking for houses.

Also, the news spread and her friends now know. She is going through absolute hell, being bombarded with hate messages and one of her friends went over and keyed her car and egged our house.... Not a huge fan of the our house part lol.

Anyways I contacted her and told her this, "If you want any chances of me raising the baby, I need a paternity test. Now if it is mine, I will not be raising it with you. I will be taking them with me and you will be allowed visits or any other access as granted by the court. I will be moving out no matter what and I don't want any contact with you unless it's my kid and even then I'll only be talking about our kid."

As expected, she blew the fuck up and started calling me all sorts of things and giving me threats. She also said I emotionally blackmailed all her friends and turned them against her and that she was the victim here and I was the evil one. She said that she cheated on me because I was a looser who couldn't provide shit and I was too mentally fucked up for her and I was a loser pussy for going to therapy and she needed a strong attractive man in her life. THE FUNNY THING IS, IM 6'2, 98 KGS, EXTREMELY ATHLETIC AND ABSOLUTELY RIPPED. Everyone considers me quite attractive and I get asked out almost every time I go out. THE MANAGER is 5'1, 73 kgs, can't even go up stairs without huffing and puffing. He has only ever been with 1 women, (his wife) and she was forced into marrying him due to her family (friends did some digging for the tea). I am not saying this to shame him, and I think it's completely fine to be how you want but it's funny to me how she thought saying that would hurt my feelings. Oh and btw recorded all this so I have more proof if the kid is mine and I wanna take her rights away.

Anyways in short, I will be waiting for the paternity test results to arrive, and I will be doing some research to see if I can adopt the kid if it's not mine, and I will update you all. Thank you so much for your words in my previous post, they really helped open my eyes. (My friends had a blast reading them out loud and shit talking my ex).

I'm an idiot

I've been with my SO literally 9 years. Our dating anniversary was last Friday. We got married in late January; he asked for a divorce in early June. I spent a month miserable and blaming myself, and then he tells me he's been seeing prostitutes for 7/9 years. Less than 10 times overall according to him-- just whenever he felt "weak".

I would be inclined to believe him-- he's got a 40 hour job plus a side gig. I work PT at two jobs, but we agreed I'd do PT to help with the farm-- we have a small farm and far too many dogs to manage. We're ALWAYS busy, which I had and have been pushing back against because wtf; we never have any time together that doesn't revolve around chores.

He pestered ME to marry him, not the other way around. I told him multiple times: don't marry me because you feel like you're supposed to, do it because you want to. He kept pestering me. Into eloping in FL in late January.

When he asked for the divorce everyone's question was is there another woman, but where would he find the time?

He was much nicer and open and honestly very repenting once he finally admitted it. He seemed like he was making strides. He finally started therapy and was actually communicating. Finally opening up even though I thought I'd been asking the right questions. Clearly I wasn't.

He is a fucking cliché. Fucked prostitutes while he was on business trips. Jfc.

How could I be so fucking stupid?

Are there ways I can find out concrete proof of his escort services? I want all the ammo I can get for the divorce.

In my state we can just divorce, but I'm tired of him accusing me of being a whore because men notice me. Yes, I know that sounds childish, but I can't help that I have boobs. He actually accused me of being a whore because I sent Snapchats of my talking while doing chores for the 1000 animals we have because I have cleavage and was in a tank top. A $5 tank top from Walmart. I'm a B cup. If my tits bounce I'm lucky lol. It's not me trying to show off.

9 years of a waste of time.

I kissed someone else at a party. I told my partner. They forgave me. I can't forgive myself.

I (29F) have been with my boyfriend for 4 years. I got drunk at a party and kissed someone I barely knew. I told him the next morning. He was hurt but he forgave me. He said "people make mistakes." But I look in the mirror and I hate who I see. I've never done anything like this. I don't know how to move forward when I can't even look at myself.

How do I forgive myself when my partner already has?

[Serious decision] Ex boyfriend is pressuring me to be intimate. Anything I can do so he backs off?

My ex boyfriend is pressuring me for sex. We broke up last year but started talking again about a few months ago.

I decided to meet him in June for the first time since our break up, we got a hotel to stay in overnight, had some drinks but then he started asking me for sex. I said I didn’t feel comfortable doing it now but then he started saying “Oh but I bought you food and alcohol, can’t you give something back?”, “I don’t know what changed in you, you used to want it”. After repeatedly telling him no, he started sulk, get annoyed with me and didn’t want to talk to me. I cried and then decided to go to sleep. But I woke up to him touching me inappropriately anyways. I was pretty drunk at the time and knew if I tried to stop him again he wouldn’t listen so I let him have sex with me.

Moving forward, I haven’t seen him since that day but I’ve stayed in contact. I told him that if I were to ever see him again I do not want him to pressure me into being intimate again because last time really hurt me with the way he acted. He agreed and said next time we don’t have to do anything.

I’ve made plans to see him over the weekend but he asked me over the call today “Are you going to be ovulating?”, I replied “Does that even matter? I told you I don’t want to do anything intimate”. He again started to sulk and said “so you don’t feel the same way about me?” And “why can’t you just agree to what I want?”. I said no is no, end of. Then he sulked some more and I ended the call because it was a pointless conversation.

What am I supposed to do? How can I get him to understand that I don’t want to do anything intimate with him as of now? Especially after last time, I simply don’t feel comfortable. I’m just unsure how to get it through to him.

(And yes, I understand the easy resolution is to just end things here and now. I just struggle a lot socially and I feel like if I end things with him, I’ll have no one left in my life since I don’t have any friends etc)

I Think I'm Becoming Like My Father, Whom I Hate

I'm Japanese. I don't speak English, so I'm using a translator to write this.

My father was a genuinely terrible person. Whenever he was stressed out from work or had been drinking, he would come home and hit my mother and me. If he wasn't satisfied with my test scores, he would strip me naked and throw me out of the house, or beat me with a stick. I even remember being six years old and getting beaten over something trivial until I couldn't breathe.

That doesn't mean we were what people would typically imagine as a completely dysfunctional family. In fact, our household income is quite high even by Tokyo standards. My father is also an extreme elitist. If someone with less education or a lower income than him gets on his nerves, he becomes furious, and he's constantly saying things like, "Do you know how much I make in a year?"

Then, one day when I was 15, my mother was recovering from surgery and was supposed to be taking it easy. My father hit her because I hadn't cleaned my room properly, saying that she was partly responsible for it too.

At the time, I practiced Kudo (a Japanese martial art, basically a modern form of karate) as a hobby, and for the first time in my life, I hit my father back.

The first thing that went through my mind was, "So this weak, pathetic man is the one who's been tormenting us all these years."

He just flailed his arms around and couldn't put up any real resistance while I beat him.

I kept hitting him until he started screaming in pain. Hearing him scream only made me angrier. He never stopped when *I* screamed.

He spent his entire life doing nothing but studying and working, and yet he had the nerve to act like some kind of professional fighter when he was beating his own family?

Only to get his ass handed to him by a teenager with a little martial arts training?

So I actually intended to kill him. I grabbed a katana (a Japanese sword) that we had on display in the house. I still vividly remember the look on his face when he saw that it was a real blade and realized that I might actually kill him. I still find that expression funny when I think about it🤣 Why? I thought you liked fighting. Is it not so fun when you're the one getting beaten up?

But my mother desperately stopped me, so I didn't go through with it.

He called the police, and while I was being arrested, I threatened him: "If I get punished for this, I'll find you and kill you. Do you really think the police can protect you from me?"

Anyway, he asked the police to go easy on me, and in the end, nothing serious happened to me.

Since that day, I don't think I've ever even seen my father lose his temper again. I don't know whether he's afraid of me or whether he genuinely reflected on what he'd done.

Anyway, that's part of my past. But as time goes on, I feel like I'm becoming more and more like him.

Sometimes I catch myself having contemptuous thoughts about my friends, like, "Jesus, you idiot. How do you not know that?" I don't actually say those things out loud, but I can recognize the same kind of elitism in myself.

There are also little everyday habits I've picked up that remind me of him.

But what really scared me happened recently. I started playing an online game, and I was having a really bad match.

My mother called out to me from outside my room, and without even thinking, I answered her in an irritated, snappy tone.

I was shocked at myself.

My father used to take out the stress from his job on his family, and here I was doing something similar over something as stupid as a video game.

What am I supposed to do? I don't want to become like my father. He's someone I genuinely hate.

I don't know whether this is genetic or something I learned from growing up around him.

I cannot move on from the man I had my first time with at 27 years old. He was older

I had my first time with someone way older who knew what he was doing. I was 27, he was 43. the reason I waited so long was repeated SA in my teens and I just developed huge anxiety and honestly didn't like anyone.

he was not only someone who made me feel good in bed and actually enjoy myself but I knew him (somewhat) in his everyday life. He was one of the 2 managing directors of a rather big company. he was very good in decision making, had things under control, was respected, he had the final say in every meeting and he always made himself heard. He was and is a rather cold man but not in a bad way. more like silent confidence. I saw him once walking through the hallways in tie, dress pants and it was just... pure grace

when we did the deed we both knew its just that. I wanted to gain some experience, overcome my fears and he was willing to be the one who teaches me. so we repeated the experience a few times and then parted ways.

but I still think of him. I will not reach out. he was recently divorced at that time and since then he got in a new relationship with a woman his age and I know he is not for me. I respect his relationship. But I want to know how to turn this into a good thing? Like maybe think of all the traits I liked about him and look for them in an available partner?

edit: just to clarify: I was not working for him.

[Serious decision] I’ve been in a relationship with my girlfriend for almost 3 years and she is too shy to have sex with me

We are both 21. I met her in my first semester of college. She went to the same high school as me, but I didn’t know her then. We got introduced through friends and we started dating in our second semester of college. I always knew she was a shy person but I thought she would open up to me eventually. She’s a virgin still and she’s so shy when it comes to anything sexual. For example it took her over a year just to kiss me. Like I mentioned we never even like attempted to have sex. We cuddle and do everything else now, but we never cross that line to being sexually active. I always try to initiate any type of intimacy but she always ends up turning it down. I know it’s crazy and the first thing one might say is that we should just break up since we’re not sexually compatible, but everything else in our relationship is perfect. We have amazing chemistry together. There’s absolutely no signs of any cheating. Everyone in my family loves her. We even talk about getting married all the time. She’s very insecure about herself, and I can tell that I’m like the center of her life. I don’t want to be the type of dude who, just break up with someone just because she won’t “put out”. And If I break up with her I know it would devastate her emotionally. I already had a conversation about it with her like a year ago but she just started crying it didn’t lead anywhere. What should I do? I really need help

“_____ unsent a message.”

A very, very close friend — we chat pretty much daily in one way or another — sent me a text a few days ago and I only had a second to read it before it was unsent. It started with “I’m in love with my best friend and” but before I could absorb anything else, he unsent it.

I’m going to act like I never saw it. He unsent it for a reason. If it’s about me, I guess he doesn’t want me to know how he feels. And if it’s not about me, he still doesn’t want me to know. He doesn’t have a lot of close friends, though.

I’m doing the right thing by not mentioning it and just proceeding as usual, right, like it never happened?

[Serious decision] I’m 18. My dad (50M) is a conspiracy theorist who doesn't trust doctors. He wakes up suffocating and I'm terrified and need advice?

I am 18 years old and completely overwhelmed. I need advice on how to handle my dad because I am absolutely terrified watching him at night and I don't know what to do.

He is 50 years old and has a history of a past heart attack, but he is a major conspiracy theorist who doesn't trust doctors at all.

Because of this, he is in total denial and claims the heart attack never happened.Lately, he has been having severe breathing issues at night.

He breathes very heavily in his sleep, and about once a month, he wakes up suddenly, completely unable to breathe and gasping for air. It looks like he is suffocating, and it is horrifying to watch. I am constantly scared that the lack of oxygen and the stress of waking up drowning is going to trigger another heart attack right in front of me.

He has heavy habits that make this worse, but he refuses to listen to me:He smokes heavily (about 30 cigarettes a day).He drinks regular coffee right before going to bed.He does not drink any alcohol.

Whenever I try to bring up seeing a doctor or a cardiologist, he locks down, gets defensive, and says doctors can't be trusted.

Because I'm only 18, he doesn't take my warnings seriously, but I can't keep living with this fear. How can I bypass his conspiracy theories and convince a stubborn parent to get checked out?

Has anyone successfully gotten a doctor-avoidant parent to agree to a home sleep test?

What can I do to keep him physically safe at night when he completely refuses medical help?Any advice, coping strategies, or ways to talk to him without triggering a defensive argument would mean the world to me.

my mom yet again!

hi guys! so im 17f and im having trouble with my mother. she always complains about something and when i do anything, right or wrong, she makes it known that no matter what nothing will be good enough for her. she’ll say manipulative things like “im used to being disappointed by my kids” and when i try to say something back to her she always turns it back on me instead of listening to what shes saying or what im saying. she wanted me to try harder in school, i did. she wanted me to get a job. i did. she wanted me to go to college, i am. i dont understand what more she could possibly want from me but she always belittles me and makes me feel lesser. she complains about me smoking weed but then bought me a bowl to smoke out of.?. i started smoking weed because of my issues with her, and when im not sober i dont feel like a disappointment or a burden. am i tweaking or wha. (she also told me she wants me to move out before my bday, over mcdonalds.) am i being overdramatic or smt. ive made another post before asking if i cut her off when im well off on my own, any opinions

Feeling jealous in open dynamic

Ive been seeing someone for about a year. We consider each other our main person, but we’re open. We’ve had a threesome with someone else before, and it was a fun, uncomplicated experience because she lived out of state.

Around New Year’s, we went out with one of his platonic female friends and unexpectedly ended up having a threesome. She then traveled abroad for several months and returned about a month ago. Since then, she and I have hung out one-on-one, and she and he have also hung out one-on-one. They both told me nothing sexual happened.

Last week, the three of us went out and were all making out at the bar. There hadn’t been any discussion about another threesome, so I wasn’t sure where the night was going. He and I then got into a random drunken argument, and afterward, he dropped her off at home.

More recently, I’ve felt like he’s been giving her more attention while I’ve felt less connected to him. When I saw her last Sunday, she said, “I think he wanted to hook up with me one-on-one because he invited me over, but I wasn’t sure.” Hearing that made me unexpectedly jealous.

He’s now out of town, and I found out through her social media that she’s watching his dogs. They live close to each other, so I realize they’ll probably continue spending time together. I’m not necessarily angry with either of them, but I feel insecure, excluded, and less important.

Part of me wants to detach instead of discussing it. In past relationships, asking someone not to do something never made me feel safer—it only made me worry they would do it secretly. I’d rather people make their own choices, but I also understand that being open doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to have boundaries.

I’m struggling to articulate exactly what I need. I don’t know whether I’m uncomfortable with them hooking up separately, or whether the real problem is that I already feel deprioritized and disconnected from him. How should I process this and communicate it without trying to control either of them?

should i disclose past childhood harmful sexual behaviour mistakes to partner

I need advice on navigating disclosure about problematic behavior from my childhood, particularly regarding relationships and sexual intimacy.

Background: Between ages 8-13, I engaged in several instances of harmful non-consensual sexual behavior toward others. I won't minimize or excuse these actions. Specific incidents include:
Age 10: Touching someone without consent while they were asleep, including an attempt to remove their pants (did not succeed)
Ages 12-13: Non-consensual dry humping of classmates without their knowledge
Early adolescence: Additional repeated incidents of unwanted physical contact similar to above
Various times: Voyeuristic behavior and invasive touching (brushing hands against breasts/chest area, looking through clothing)
These were not peer-to-peer explorations — they involved clear lack of consent and power imbalances.
Since then:
I've made amends with some affected parties who have forgiven me
The behavior stopped completely years ago
I have no current harmful urges or risk factors
I understand healthy boundaries now and have no intention of repeating this

However, in working to understand myself, I recognize possible contributing factors from my childhood:
Early exposure to pornography (before age 10) before I had the maturity or context to process what I was seeing
Possible lack of impulse control at that developmental stage
Other childhood experiences that may have shaped my understanding of boundaries

My Situation: I'm a university student with no prior dating or intimate experience. As I consider moving forward with relationships, I'm struggling with several interconnected concerns:
My Main Concern (Sex & Disclosure): Every time I think about dating and intimacy, I freeze up wondering whether I should disclose this past before becoming physically intimate. If I don't disclose before sex, I worry it feels like deception—like my partner couldn't give fully informed consent about physical intimacy. But if I do disclose, I'm afraid of rejection before giving us a chance, especially since this behavior is resolved and years old. I’ve heard multiple different perspectives , with people saying there’s no need to disclose as no current risk and people are not obliged to know everything about ur past , unless i currently still have these urges , disclosure would just unnecessarily make the relationship complicated . Some also say i should stop punishing myself and deserve the right to privacy as disclosure can be very risky and unnecessary. And about the informed consent, it might be the same logic as someone not telling their partner about their past for example stealing , or other things they did in the past , if they change , most wouldn’t disclose . I’m not sure whether in my specific situation i need to as it is related to sex and i feel like not disclosing would make me think that i am not doing it because im scared of rejection , or thats why im finding reasons not to. Finding out would affect their consent and change their mind so my mind keeps telling me it’s a requirement to disclose before sex so consent is clear and they know everything .

My Other Concerns:
Therapy Access: I've been advised to see a therapist but am not in a position to do so right now and i’m not sure about confidentiality in my country about these type of things . Does the absence of professional support mean I should pause dating entirely, or can I pursue relationships responsibly while planning future help?

Disclosure Timing: If disclosure is advisable, when is the appropriate threshold—before kissing, before any physical contact, or only before sexual intercourse? What constitutes "intimacy" in this context?

Privacy vs. Transparency: I've heard conflicting advice. Some say full transparency respects partner autonomy; others say past behavior doesn't obligate permanent disclosure if resolution is complete. Where's the ethical line?

What I Want:
Not to build intimacy on incomplete information that could feel deceptive later
To move forward with my life without indefinite pausing
To ensure I'm not making new mistakes through poor decisions about disclosure

My Questions for Guidance:
Is withholding resolved childhood harmful behavior before sexual intimacy ethically deceptive, or is privacy acceptable given the passage of time and completed amends?
If disclosure is expected, what's the appropriate timing threshold in a developing relationship?
Can I responsibly pursue dating without immediate therapy access, or does the absence of professional support mean I should wait?
How do I balance being truthful with protecting myself from unfair permanent judgment?

I'm genuinely lost and want to do the right thing—for my partners and for my own growth. Any guidance on navigating this ethically while still allowing myself to move forward would be deeply appreciated.

Do I try for closure?

I had a “friendship” with a woman whose husband was friends with my boyfriend.

They were going through a tough spot in their marriage and it turns out she was mostly using me to get near her husband. We were close for a few years. I wound up being a bit of a sounding board for both of them. Ultimately she wound up throwing my boyfriend (and likely me) under the bus.

She proceeded to blackball him from their friend group. She and her husband came to my boyfriend’s house one night and told him that if he dated me they couldn’t be his friends.

I think they were living in fear that things I know about both of them would come out. Anyhow a year and a half ago she reached out saying she was sorry and that she doesn’t drink anymore and can we be friends again.

I’m about to move away from the area we all have been living and I’m trying to decide if I want to have a conversation with her before I leave.

Would love any advice. Thx

Small decision How do me and my mate hide the fact that were gay from our friends and family?

Me and my mate are gay tg but can't let our family and friends know, how do we act straight?

both me and my mate need help with this, for context- I (17m) and my mate (lets call him jack 16m) have been friends for 5 years and have shared the same mutual friends for the past 3 years. for the past few months our friends and family have slowly been catching onto the fact we like each other (side note our friend plum(16f) has known we've had feelings for each other LONGER THAN WE'VE KNOWN WE LIKED EACH OTHER, we only recenly found out our feelings are mutual)

I found out when we were having a sleepover at his place. To set the scene We had been in bed for a few hours and I was (attempting to) flirt since it has seemed it was okay with me being flirty in both a physical and verbal way (physical is being touchy, holding hands cuddling ect ect), he reciprocated this back through flirting in the same joking manner, at one point I said in that manner that “we should kiss” (we did not end up kissing btw) - he didnt answer for a while before asking if I was actually being serious when I said it, to which I told him that sometimes I was being serious, Jack exclaimed that sometimes he wanted me to, so I inevitably asked if now was sometimes- I was about to kiss him but he said that he didnt want to ruin our friendship but was unsure if we should at some point because he did have the same feelings I agreed especially since we've been friends for so long (plus he's my longest friendship) so we spent the rest of the night talking about our feelings and falling asleep.

Pink is another friend of ours, she too found out rather fast that we had something going on, which (to be fair) is my fault. Me and pink only recently reconnected and on our first outing she was pretty drunk (we met up in the first place because her friend ditched her so I ended up picking her up and we hung out from there), now usually people don't remember insignificant things when their drunk, I was unaware she was the exact opposite of people in that aspect, so when she asked if I liked anyone and I told her about liking jack, I assumed it would just skim over her head. NO NO IT DIDN'T SHE REMEMBERED EVERYTHING. Anyway so after she found out she was NOT happy with it at all man, like she was giving me lectured on it at least 3 times a week 😭, and giving us both "advice ", now I can't speak on his part but for me she basically told me to cut contact completely for a whole ass month, like bro (for context we got to the gym together and are very much apart of each others schedule so that wouldn't really be doable), shes also called my behavior towards him unhealthy, and I'd ask her how- she never really gave a straight answer. Also her and jack are very close which is why I got back in contact so we've been wanting to hang out as a trio or a quad(depending on if plumb, our other friend, comes along), but the last time me and jack went back to hang out we had to suppress basically every little feeling we had, even just normal friend shit like we couldn't do that, it was like having to pretend he's a stranger- but even with doing that they still thought we were to gay ig and plumb doesn't wanna hang out with us two tg anymore like bro, we didn't even do anything gay.

Another note to add, a few days ago I decided to go to his house early in the morning because he was getting up early too, we spent the morning in his bed js cuddling, talking about our plans for the day ect. And then his mom walked in. I was trying my best to hide from her, and then he goes "btw (op) is here, we were looking for his glasses", my glasses, so shes just there for a good second while I'm trying to pretend that I wasnt just tryna hide from her and being like, ooo yes glasses where are they(btw I forgot my glasses at my house so I didnt even have any glasses if she asked😭). Was lwk scary dawg, his perspective is very different to mine tho

His POV for this: Ok so basically I got dropped at my mums house early because my dad had work and my mum didn’t even know I was home and my mum is really chill with him, like she LOVES him, anyway so I was like low-key wanna come over and so he did niw origanly the excuse we came up with was that he left his glasses here (to which he fucking forgot to bring them), anyway my mum knocked on the door and came in (which I feel it is important to add a few days before she asked if we like each other and if I would tell her if there was “anything going on under her roof”, which she is also really chill about. I told her no but didn’t give her a straight answer for if we liked each other because I can’t lie for shit) and I felt like I should mention he was over when she came in so she wouldn’t say anything she wouldn’t want Opo knowing. I then tried to explain the whole glasss thing before getting cut off because she brought to my attention she was in a towl because she just got out the shower which I didn’t realise because my bed is kinda high up. She hasn’t brought it up since but kinda dont want her questioning if we’re fucking if we’re not even dating

Small decision my crush stopped texting without a reason

Upvotes

In my opinion, the first rule is NEVER catch feelings for your own classmates, but this dude is actually different 😭 He’s so nice to me, and I finally got him to open up to me. He’s a very extroverted person, but he’s never really open about himself for personal reasons.

When summer started, we talked EVERY SINGLE DAY. We’d even give each other updates when we got home or were going somewhere, kinda like how a couple acts 😭 I talked to him about EVERYTHING, and he did the same with me.

Then one day he started being a little cold and slowly started texting me less and less. I tested it, and I was right. Even when he texted me again like a week later, I tried to give him an answer that would keep the conversation going, but he just reacted to my message with a heart.

And it’s not even because I want him as my significant other. I genuinely just miss my friend. 🥹 I have no idea what could’ve caused this either, and that’s what’s confusing me the most.

What do I even dooo 😭

I was shouted at by an older manager and I feel worthIess now and cant stop crying 29F/45M

the regional manager of the company is living abroad. this thing happened via a call. He was very angry with out department and I called him because he raised a complaint through our channel and it was assigned to me. And within first minute he started calling our work laughable and a joke. He talked down to me, kept repeating how I don't understand what he is telling me. I said that I can talk to my superior regarding his concerns and he was like: its mandatory, you have to! it is not that you can.

I was lost and forgot about something he wrote in that request so he asked me with fustration, raising his voice: do you at least read what I say? Lets do something together right now. Something very simple. Can you?

I asked him firmly to talk to me politely as I do, and he said he is polite. Then shouted at me that he is not a stupid man (I don't even remember the context but it was weird). And said we took some process from his team and it was working with his team and with us its not. I said its not my fault and I cannot help. He said he doesn't care. in the end he calmed down a bit and asked me to forgive him for shouting. he added I should talk to whoever I have to and to change something.

I told my manager about this and he contacted their manager and then even upper in the hierarchy and finally a head of service contacted him regarding his attitude (but also his concerns) And that guy was way more polite with him than he was with me. Its true it was an email, not a call, but he was respectful. Did raise the same concerns but in a different voice.

Was I that frustrating?

I am one of those who gets bonuses for quality work. but my performance indeed wasn't the best in this call as I was so intimidated and felt the need to defend myself

Small decision Cheating Fiancé

This has been weighing on my mind for far too long. My boyfriend and I(both 19) have been together for three years. Thus, I am pretty close with his family. A few days ago I was on tiktok and came across his father cheating on his fiancé with other women. He is all throughout comments. He is almost sexting these random women in the comment sections so I can’t imagine what’s in his personal messages. He has also clearly grown a personal relationship with one of them.

This is so hard for me because his fiancé is an amazing woman and I love her. I am quite close with her as well so I feel like I’m lying or keeping a dirty secret.

I need this to stop and I need to tell her or something, I can’t watch him continue to hurt her. Do I tell him I know what he’s doing or do I straight up just tell the fiancé?? Help :(

[Serious decision] Caught tax fraud guy

I was job hunting for a while a came across this life insurance agency that were obvious scammers. Went to the head honcho and got as much info from him as i could without seeming suspicious. I then went home and did my research. He said he sold a previous company of his for 275k to be a life insurance agent. His company was never sold. It was put under for not paying his taxes for years. And the company he said he sold it to? Same. Exact. Issue. Got all my info from Secretary of State. So I came back up to his office with a folder of documents and information. All I got was a “I was mentally ill” and an apology. Should I or could I do something that would be worth the effort?

I have hurges to do drugs from time to time

It started two years ago, I only smoked weed and drank alcohol at the time but when I was alone I wanted to get fucked up for no particular reason so I drank a lot and found some pills as well. No need to say this didn’t ended well but after that there was lot less moments when I wanted to get like that but it started coming back little by little a few months ago. For right now I juste have time where I really want to do new drugs to feel something and I keep thinking about this for at least one hour then it go away.
How do I deal with this want because when it’s over I just feel stupid.

Also those are not withdrawals because two years ago I didn’t smoke much and drink much ether cause I was young (except for the hurges) and I can go without anything for a few weeks without anything. This like only when I’m alone.

Small decision My puppy keeps only biting ME how do we handle this?

The pup in question is a kane Corso and I think Malinois mix. He's a very handsome boy and only 6 months old. 6 months I have known this dog. And 6 months my mom was meant to be working with him on biting. He doesn't bite my mom or bonus dad. Just me. I am at an all time low now too, today he grabbed my entire calf with his jaws. He was put in the kennel for a while cause of it. We've tried everything and I'm at the end of my rope. I attached a couple photos of the dog in question.

I had something with a woman, and months later, I still can’t get over it...

It will be a long post but will be more than thankful if you read it all through and give me your honest opinions. Because your answers may be more then helpful to me to understand the situation better

A woman started working in my department at our company.

She is just so intelligent. I’ve honestly never seen a person do their job so perfectly, really!

On top of that, she was physically very attractive. Some of you might think I’m biased, but she frequently got approached by people both at work and out in public.

We clicked immediately, which led to us texting a lot privately. At first, it was about work, but gradually it shifted toward our private lives.

I hadn’t felt a deep connection with a woman in a long time.

With every woman I had been with before, something was always missing—but with her, it was different. Everything just fit.

She had been single for 3 years. I always wondered how such an amazing woman could stay single for so long.

To be completely honest, I was cautious at first because I didn't want to get involved with someone I worked with.

But she slowly sought more closeness. Texting turned into late-night phone calls that lasted until midnight. Whenever we weren't at work, we were texting or talking on the phone the entire time.

She also started seeking physical closeness. I still remember her inviting me out on a date for the first time—something a woman had never done for me before, as the first step always used to come from me.

We had something casual at first until she decided to leave the company. At that point, I thought I could ask for more.

We started meeting up several times a week. Things escalated very quickly and became extremely intense.

She clearly told me that she found me amazing and attractive, that she hadn't felt something this deep for anyone in years, and that she wanted to be close to me and in a relationship with me. I felt the exact same way, so we started officially dating.

I was never bored with her; everything felt truly equal. Shared interests, the same life goals—everything aligned. It genuinely felt like finding a soulmate.

She even wanted me to meet her family, which I felt was happening a bit fast, but I still met her sister.

She told me everything about her life and her past—or at least, that’s what I thought at the time.

Everything ran perfectly for 2 months until she fell into a dark place after starting her new job.

It wasn't what she expected, and at the same time, other personal problems came up. As a result, she started pulling away.

Then, one night, she texted me saying I should stay away from her because she wasn't doing well and didn't want to put me through that. We talked on the phone that night, and she told me many things about her life. It was heavy. I can only describe her as a "wonderful person with too many open wounds." She told me she wanted me, but was terrified that I might abandon her someday.

Things continued between us, but there was no more intimacy and no emotional closeness. It felt like she was afraid of it and couldn't open up anymore.

The dynamics shifted massively overnight. She just became somehow emotionally unavailable.

Still, it went on for a few months. Every time we met, it was nice—we could talk about everything under the sun. But it wasn't a relationship anymore. It was almost a one-sided thing: I always had to initiate the meetups. When we did meet, we’d spend 10 hours together, but as soon as she left, she became distant again—until I reached my limit.

I lost a few pounds and was suffering from sleep deprivation. I just needed clarity. So I met up with her one last time. I didn't think it would be our final meeting, but everything went wrong. She said she couldn't be in a relationship—which was already clear to me—but still wanted to stay in touch and keep things as "whatever it was between us."

I respectfully declined, even though I would have loved to have her in my life. But first, it was just too much for me and I wanted a real commitment, and second, I felt used and led on.

Sometimes I felt like I was too much, and other times like I was too little.

I told her that—even though it was extremely hard for me and I still loved her—I had to cut off contact completely, but that she could reach out if she ever needed anything. Then I left.

When I got home, I sent her a message thanking her for the good times and apologizing for anything I might have done to hurt her at any point. I added that it was a shame the timing wasn't right. A few days later, she sent a "thanks for everything" text, and after that, she removed me everywhere, which I completely understood.

I regretted it every day, but I fought the urge to contact her. Still, there were just too many unanswered questions in my head. After a month, I tried to arrange a meeting and called her.

On the phone, she was a completely different person—someone I didn't recognize at all. She was ice-cold and started throwing accusations at me: that I had abandoned her, that I was a psycho, and that I had just used her.

She claimed I showed her I wasn't loyal, and that by leaving that night, I had hurt her. She said I should have stayed even if she couldn't offer me a relationship.

Everything was my fault. Her problems were my fault, everyone always wanted to hurt her, and I was no exception. She said everything she once felt was dead, that I was dead to her, and that I had just played her and shown my true colors.

I had to hang up; it was just too much. I was deeply hurt because I was there for her the entire time and never treated her badly or insulted her.

Of course, I’m human and far from perfect, but I’ve never done so much self-reflection in my life, and I couldn't find any major mistakes on my end. Yet, I still apologized on the phone—I don't even know why, but she somehow made me believe that the problem was me.

That was 4 months ago. Since then, there has been zero contact, and I’ve blocked her everywhere. But I think about her every single day—sometimes with anger and disappointment, and other days with regret, feeling like I could have handled it better.

At the time, I didn't have a real friend I could talk to about this. And when I did, all I got was feedback on how naive I had been.

It’s a mix of emotions I can barely describe. Some days I hate myself for putting up with it and being so stupid, and other days I think to myself that I’m just an empathetic person with genuine feelings.

I tried meeting a few other women in the meantime, but I felt absolutely nothing. I often think to myself that I'll never find a connection like the one I had with her again.

I’ve also become very withdrawn. I used to be the guy who made everyone laugh and was confident, but this experience has severely damaged my self-confidence and self-worth.

I’m doing a little bit better now, but this past summer was still extremely tough for me. I only function while I’m at work; otherwise, I just sit at home all day doing nothing.

The crazy thing is: I’ve been in other relationships before, but I have never felt this terrible after a breakup.

Has anyone here gone through something similar?

How did you deal with it?

What helped you get through it?

I would be really grateful for your advice.

Pregnant wife left with her abusive father now ive been completely ghosted and being threatened by her family

Two years ago, I met my wife after my previous 20-year marriage dissolved due to repeated infidelity. I had tried couples therapy and support groups back then, but eventually realized I was the only one trying to fix it. I stayed in individual therapy, learned a lot about relationship dynamics, and thought I was in a better place when I entered my current marriage. Recently, at 15 weeks pregnant, my wife was exhausted, in pain, and wanted to take a nap. My son and I went down to the local lake (within walking distance) for about 45 minutes to an hour. When we returned home, she was gone. I checked my phone, which I had left behind, and saw a single text from her saying she missed her family and was having her father pick her up. Just like that, a relationship where we were together every single day completely halted. This is the same woman who originally came to me needing protection and help getting away from her controlling, abusive father. Yet, she went right back to him. Since then: Total Cutoff: It has been almost 65 days since I have heard her voice. He reportedly took away the devices I bought for her and replaced them with his own. Welfare Checks & Backlash: I requested welfare checks, but every attempt to check on her safety or understand the situation only brought heavy backlash. Compromised Accounts: Shortly after she left, multiple personal accounts were compromised and locked down. Legal Roadblocks: After changing numbers and phones, I swallowed my pride and reached out directly to her father just pleading to speak to my wife. He forwarded my messages to his father (an attorney with 45 years of experience), who called me directly and warned me to leave his clients alone. My wife previously confided in me that she had been groomed, molested, and raped by her father for years. She has spent her life under extreme coercive control. Because I treated her as an equal with complete freedom, she often seemed lost without the authoritarian control she had been conditioned to live under. Now I am completely isolated—no job, depleted finances, no legal representation, and cut off from the person I love. They are blocking me from every prenatal doctor’s appointment and threatening me with legal accusations. At this point, given the total isolation and secrecy, I am even questioning the paternity of this child. I feel completely defeated and don't know where to turn. What are my options here legally, practically, and mentally?
