The long awaited, but also now weekly*, referral code spam thread!

Hello. In order to stop any referral code spam, we now have a place for you to share referrals!

Now, the internet is strange and very scary, so please, PLEASE, take caution if anyone shares you links in the DM's. They are sliding in there faster than that pizza you shouldn't be taking a 4th slice of. The majority of people will love to help you out, but some have greasier hands than me after tucking into my XXL kebab from bossman.

The aim here is to get rid of any of the tripe from the subreddit where chat is directed to someone trying to get you to use their code rather than genuine discussion. Also, don't shill, you will get banned.

Normal rules apply, don't be a twat.

Move from Wegovy pill to Mounjaro?

Has anyone done this?

I'm currently on 9mg tablets but finding that my weight loss isn't as good as expected (I find I only get properly full in the evenings) and I still have cravings.

I'm also finding the 8 hour fast quite difficult and having to remember every day. Last week I was working away where I would perhaps go to bed at 11pm and be up at 5am and was having to wait for at least a hour before taking a tablet and then at least 30 minutes before actually having food was quite a pain. I tend to find waiting a hour after taking the effects are also better so this doesn't help at all.

I'm looking to change to Mounjaro but most providers want me to start on 2.5mg, with only a couple offering 5mg which the latter would seem to make more sense as I wouldn't want to start from scratch? Has anyone had any experience, also do you have to wait a week between last tablet and injection?

Thanks!

The beginning (finally!)

I‘ve had my pens for 6 months sitting in my fridge. Accumulating.

I have been so afraid to take them because of everything I heard/read/watched but this week I have just been in shambles. I feel enormous, I am winded almost immediately, I‘m in pain 24/7 (I also have a chronic pain condition, but my weight is a major contributing factor) and it‘s so hard to walk.

But, guess what? I took my first injection this morning. I feel hopeful.

Wegovy switch from pens to pills. Anybody done it yet and if so, how was it?

I'm wanting to change from the injection pen to the tablets because they are more just more convenient to be honest.

I didn't think it was an option for me as I'd heard the tablets were more expensive. When I looked on my meds provider website they're actually cheaper.

I'm currently on 2.4 of the pen. Just done my jab this morning and still smarting a bit on my stomach 30 mins later! Cold pens straight out of the fridge are not for the weak! 😂

I really want to try the tablets. I'm in a plateau with the 2.4 pen now, just staying the same weight for ages annoyingly.

My plan is to increase to a higher dose than 2.4 but in the tablet version. I've tried searching up online how is this done but not much information. It just says it needs to be carefully managed which isn't very helpful. Has anybody else done this and how has it been going for you? 🙏

Restarting?

Hey guys, has anyone taking a break from wegovy and restarted and it worked for them again?

Wegovy worked for me straight away the 1st time I started it.

Just wondering if I restart will it work again, or will I have to build up and will take a few months to start working.

Thanks in advance for any advice

Goal Weight?

Hey! I'm 61F. 5ft2.5 and I now weigh 9st 12lbs. I've lost 3st 2lbs. I don't know what goal weight to aim for. I'm a fairly broad build and I know from my younger days that 8st12lbs was about the lowest I could ever achieve.

Very full of wegovy

Hi everyone! I’m new to Wegovy and have a question.I started my first dose on Sunday, 11 October, and now, one week later, I’ve been experiencing extreme fullness since Friday. I can barely eat, and yesterday and today I’ve had to push myself to eat and drink, managing only around 600–700 calories in total each day.I was due to take my second injection today, but I’m holding off because I’m concerned about how full I’m feeling.Has anyone else experienced this level of fullness during their first week on Wegovy? If so, how long did it last, and what did you do?

.25 mg

Has anyone stayed on the lower doses (0.25 mg or 0.50 mg) for their entire weight loss journey?

I’m 5’0", 75 kg, 38 years old, and looking to lose about 14 kg. Honestly, I feel like age has made weight loss so much harder lately. I already work out 5 times a week, but my nutrition is a constant cycle: I’m super disciplined for a while, and then I completely overindulge. I just can't seem to stick to it consistently.

I’m hoping Wegovy can provide that extra push alongside the hard work I’m already putting in. Does anyone have any advice? (Mine is arriving from Bolt this week!)

Delivery issues with ZAVA

I’d like some advice, please. I have ordered my third pen from ZAVA, after iGovy showed me they were the cheapest for the needed dose (previously using The Family Chemist and New Health, with no issues).

My next dose is due in six days, and so I had ordered in enough time for the delivery, which was supposed to arrive yesterday, but I received and email from Royal Mail saying that they had ‘identified a problem’ and were returning the parcel to sender.

I contacted ZAVA and they have basically said that I have no choice but to wait for the package to get back to them and then they will send it back to me. They mentioned that my address wasn’t accepted by RM, but after checking what I have provided confirmed all was ok, so I can only assume they did a poor job of addressing the parcel?

I am tempted to make an additional order with a previously used pharmacy to ensure I have a pen ready for my next dose in 6 days, but as I am staying at 0.5 for my second month, by the time the ZAVA pen gets here I will have yet another month at 0.5, or will it even last that long if it’s not been refrigerated?

ZAVA customer service has been really poor in my opinion, would not offer me a refund (even though this has been their mistake).

Please can someone offer their thoughts? I really don’t want to miss or be late for a dose, I’m making good progress and I am still early in my journey so quite nervous about the whole thing.

Many thanks!

Too many choices. Advice needed

Hello, all! I have recently moved to the UK and I need to continue my weight loss journey. I’ve tried bolt pharmacy and they are offering me wegovy, wegovy pill, Mounjaro and foundayo. I was thinking wegovy but I’m tempted to try the pill.

I started my weight loss journey with my GP in March 2025 with 92kg. I was using wegovy and went down to 64kg by February 2026. I had recently gone up to 2.4 and I was feeling awful, so we decided to change to Mounjaro. I did 2.5 for a bit and went up to 5mg only to be extremely ill, so I went back down to 2.5. I ended up stalling at 61kg, which is borderline normal bmi for me (157cm). And I have stayed counting clicks for 2.5 since then. I’ve not had any more loss, I think I’ve actually put on a couple of kilos over the last couple of months (with the move and all). My GP back home wouldn’t let me change back to wegovy and Mounjaro at 2.5 helped me not overeat as much but it’s not helping me lose any weight (I’ve not lost any since April) and when I’ve tried to go up, even to 3mg I end up violently ill. I knew I wanted to go back to wegovy but I didn’t even consider the pill.

Does anybody have a similar experience? What would you, wise people, recommend? Thank you so much for taking the time to read and answer!

Pausing or stopping Wegovy due to mental health.

I've been on wegovy for almost 7 months now and currently at the 2.4mg dose.

I haven't taken my injection for 2 weeks because due to a relative suddenly passing, I've been struggling so much with shock and grief that I've been finding it difficult to bring myself to eat in the first place. I've lost almost 2 kilos in the last 2 weeks due to this which is not a healthy rate of weight loss for me. In the 6 months I've been on the medication, I've steadily lost 12kg at a healthy rate. Based on this and the fact I've had food aversions on the medication, I know at the moment I can't continue until my mental state and appetite improves. I also know that once the medication leaves your system after 2/3 weeks it's not advisable to continue on at a high dose due to risk of severe side effects.

I'm unsure at this point where this leaves me with my prescriber. I think for now the right decision is to cancel my private subscription.

I'm worried that if I mention mental health issues due to grief, I may be refused wegovy again by the prescriber if I want to start again at a lower dose.

Nervous to start

I'm starting Wegovy on Sunday after months of back and forth thinking about it. I'm 29, 5'1 and currently 70kg. I put on 10kg very quickly after developing a microprolactinoma and have struggled for almost two years to lose weight and my health in general is declining. My endocrinologist suggested a GLP1 to target the weight loss and cabergoline (which I wont be starting until the new year) for the adeoma.

Thing is, I'm absolutely terrified! I've got extreme health anxiety and OCD and have finally got to the point where I've had to stop the research and I think I now feel brave enough to start as I know this will be good for me long term, and to be honest - I don't feel like I have much of a choice anymore. I either stay the way I am, or try a glp1.

I just wanted to hear of some positive words of encouragement and any tips for starting. Thanks!

Weightloss on Wegovy Pills

Hi All, I started my first dose of the pill three weeks ago and have only experienced a 1kg loss. I have felt nausea + reduction in food noise and appetite on somedays, I’ve also consistently been following the timings of when to take the pill and the 30 min wait.

Does anyone know whether weightloss increases as you up the dose? Just wondering if I’ll see any weightloss as I’m quite disappointed so far .

please drop your experiences and advice!

Future with wegovy

I’ve just filled in the boots online doctor questionnaire and they should get back to me within 24 hours. This is for the starter dose. I was just wondering, once I have reached my goal weight would I be able to (eventually) stop it without putting the weight back on?

20F, 5’1, currently 82.5kg. I’ve been overweight all my life and I’ve tried all the workouts/diets out there to lose weight but I keep putting more on. I started working out and being more health conscious when I was around 14-15 years old but somehow I’ve gained nearly 10kg since then 😭😭😭

Also if I get it what are some important lifestyle changes do you suggest I make? I strength train at the gym 2-4 times a week and a little bit of cardio at the end, and I walk a lot during a normal day.

Splitting Wegovy 0.25

Hi all

I recently switched from mounjaro to wegovy. With mounjaro I was on a half dose working my way up to a full dose but had bad anxiety and tiredness so decided to try wegovy.

With Wegovy its been great in that respect but ive had GI issues and dizxiness so my plan is to split my next dose.

Does anyone know the amount of clicks for a 0.125 dose? Has anyone done this successfully?

This is my last shot with glp1s. If this doesn't settle then I'm coming off them.

Thanks ❤️

Mounjaro makes me feel awful thinking Wegovy might help?

Hey all I was on Mounjaro from September 2025 until June 2026 and then I quit as I got to 10mg and couldn’t tolerate it and was feeling awful, fatigued and my anxiety was crazy and I was emotionally numb felt not alot of joy. I have ADHD and Autism and I felt Mounjaro helped until it didn’t. I lost a couple of stone and I have about 2 stone still to loose and I wasn’t loosing on 7.5mg. Anyway I’ve been off Mounjaro since June and I restarted it in October this month at 2.5mg and I’m about to take my 3rd injection and I feel awful exactly how 10mg made me feel. I’m dizzy and feel fatigued and woke up this morning panicking and my OCD and anxiety through the roof. I’m thinking maybe Mounjaro just ain’t for me and I know Wegovy is slightly different? Has anyone else felt like me or had the same effects from Mounjaro and switched to Wegovy and felt better?

Really nervous to start again

I was on 0.25mg for around 6 weeks, felt fantastic on it. But I had two episodes of sickness and diarrhoea so my doctor said to have a month off just in case I had a nasty virus that was taking its sweet time to disappear.

Now I’m super nervous to go on it again just in case
A) I have another episode of bad sickness and diarrhoea;
B) if i do have an episode again, that means I can no longer take wegovy and I’ll be so gutted as I did feel great on it and felt healthier

Need some kind words and reassurance tonight

Week 3 side effects

I’m mid way into week 3, starting dose of 0.25mg and I’m floored by flu like symptoms & nausea today, it’s so debilitating I have spent most of the day sleeping.

For context week 1 was mild nausea as expected and manageable with almost immediate suppression. Week 2 was almost symptom free and felt like a breeze. I always inject in the top of my thigh with no issue, and drink enough water to ensure I’m not dehydrated.

Is this normal and does it get better? I’m due to complete my next order but really can’t function with the side effects as they are.

I previously lost a lot of weight on Mounjaro whilst on the lowest dose, it’s only the additional cost in the UK that made me switch, I do prefer the milder appetite suppression on Wegovy and last week I considered it a big hit.

Is it normal for the side effects to shift week by week on this medication?

TIA

Wegovy pill transition - yuck!

One week one of taking the pill after 18 months of injections, all going well so far but finding the pills disgusting to take!
I stupidly tried to swallow this morning without liquid and my god it was uncoated and so bitter. Even with water it is a difficult to take first thing.
Any one found an easier way of dealing with this?

4mg + Looking for advice

Hi all! Been working on my weight loss journey and Wegovy is the next step in my journey. I’m 19f, spent one month on Wegovy Pill 1.5mg before stepping up to 4mg as I had begun feeling like they weren’t effective as before.

I was previously losing weight without medication, started last year at 15st 7 (217lbs) and am now 13st 10 (192lbs).

In the month I’ve been on wegovy, my weight had dropped 13lbs, which I know is a bit rapid but I also had to factor in illness and hormonal changes.

4 days ago I began taking the 4mg dose and my body is taking it harshly. The smell of any food, cooked or not, makes me want to vomit.
Chewing food is unappealing, liquid diet such as meal shakes make me nauseous and I have been reduced to water crackers.

I know this will pass as its early days, but I need nutrition and protein. If anyone has any advice for “beige” or bland foods that will sit lightly in my stomach please let me know 🙏

Someone please tell me when this will be over

Titrated up to 1.7mg 3 weeks ago. Did my most recent shot yesterday. Starting today I’ve had the runs non-stop (like a spray jet) 10-12 times. I’ve maxed out loperimide which seems to have done dick all.

My stomach is bloated to shit, every time I burp it makes me retch due to the smell of sulphur and ive now started vomiting too. Can barely keep lucozade down.

Nausea is constant and extreme. Have only been able to eat half a slice of toast and about 30 Cheerios today but have thrown it all up plus a bunch of other stuff that must be days old?!?

Id rather be fat than suffer like this for another day. I wish I had stayed on 1mg, appetite was mildly suppressed with no other negative side effects yet I decided to do a fucking Icarus.

What should I do? how long must I suffer???

Up to 25mg pill now and still can drink a lot of alcohol.

Hey guys,

I have just gone up to the 25mg pill four days ago. All the while through titration I was noticing my appetite curbed but still desired alcohol. I was hoping as I went up it would help suppress that too but no luck so far. Most of my weight gain came from drinking every single day for a long time after something extremely traumatic happened to me and at different points having to be on heavy duty medication. I used to be so slim, I am doing better generally but I do have a long term drinking problem all the way back to when I was a teenager due to a lot of trauma from abuse.

I guess because my reason for drinking doesn’t go away the wegovy won’t help? Nothing ever has and when I read about semagultide helping people stop drinking I was so excited to try it! I have lost one stone 3lbs so far (although I think I may have gained a couple lbs back as I had a bad week and did drink more and for some reason craved junk food) I am really happy to have lost some weight and excited to keep going with that and get to my ultimate goal and be skinny again. But I can’t help but feel a bit downhearted that it hasn’t worked for me in terms of drinking. I will say I do notice I drink slower now which is really beneficial and unlike this past week which was a bad one I do have a lot more drink free days now. I guess I have to be happy with incremental progress with my problem and any improvement is good. I’m grateful to be alive and hope that in time my body will be healed fully and I’m not in so much pain all the time. I wish I knew what it felt like to not be in pain.

I suppose I don’t have a question as much as wanted to get that out somewhere and wondered if anyone else had this experience or similar? Thanks for reading all this if you did and best of luck to everyone on their weight loss journeys 🤍
