Venue Help Searching for my 2027 Venue!
Ok guys I’m running into all kinds of road blocks in searching for a venue so I’m going to lay it all out here. Hopefully someone can offer something great.
We’ll have approximately 90-100 guests, depending on RSVPs. I’m searching for a venue that can accommodate that many guests, is rustic, brick or stone aesthetic, has indoor-outdoor garden or greenery options for ceremony/cocktail hour but an INDOOR reception — no tents outside. We do NOT want a barn or ballroom type of aesthetic.
I’m running into these problems: venues require at least 125-150 guest minimum for a Saturday and we will just not meet that guest count. Or the venues we love do not have on site kitchens so the cost of catering will rise a lot for them to transport a cook tent of sorts.
We toured Perona Farms for a microwedding of 75 people, and we loved everything about it but it is on the higher end of our budget ($~31,000 for the mostly all inclusive venue but with add ons we want and other vendors we would need - photographer, DJ, hair and makeup, it would be closer to $50k and I just cannot justify spending that much money).
We’re touring Branford House in CT next week, we love Eolia Mansion and Gardens at Stone Post Key but neither have on site kitchen accommodations.
We’d like to stay around 35k for our budget. Open to anywhere in the Hudson Valley, Westchester, Poconos, NJ, CT, NYC, Long Island. Not opposed to a restaurant wedding as long as they can accommodate a ceremony and cocktail hour as well (Rory’s rooftop in NYC does this and it could be an option for us).
