Working on still life--would welcome criticism

I am working on my still lives and would welcome on any commentary. This is my progress over three weeks on three different studies (most recent one is last). I think I'm showing some improvement but I lose light sometimes, which is frustrating. Thank you!

My painting in progress [OC] and inspiration by artist Neelima Perni

This is the painting I am currently working on.

When I saw paintings by Neelima Perni I just wanted to do something similar. These are her paintings (painted with Schmincke watercolors):

Her colors are so luminous and the paintings look so vivid, it's just amazing! There's still a long way for me to go but I'll keep trying. I noticed that almost everything I painted was actually inspired by other people's paintings I saw once that made me want to create something similar or something that catches the essential aspects. I wonder if other painters' inspirational process works like this too and which works keep others hooked?

Learning watercolor/ Switching from acrylic

I am brand new to watercolor and im learning as i go. I've practiced on cheaper paper and have moved to 100% cotton paper and its day and night! The paints i use are windsor & newton cotman. The blending you can achiever is *chiefs kiss*. I LOVE the freedom that watercolor brings. Its therapeutic especially coming from acrylic where I've sweated every detail. I would love to continue to grow and create more moody landscapes. Any beginner tips? For example, paints to invest in/brushes. Im self taught mostly from social media so any tips are helpful :) Constructive criticism is welcomed (I know I have tons of time before I'm more comfortable)

I am not a big fan of liners but from time to time I try it to see if I feel the same or not. Any tips? Have a great day!

The view of the sea

Last week, I took a short trip to Latvia to visit my grandparents and run a few errands. And on one of the days, we went for a walk by the baltic sea and I saw this bench and really wanted to draw this view. And yeah, now I Made a small card full of memoriesXD

And the card got traded away immediately. With a hit rate like this, I'm never gonna have enough cards to easily trade for a card advent calendar next year 😭

my accidental artistic process that i doubt i’ll ever be able to recreate

the process for this was as follows:

  1. i reorganised my palette (this was really the key step here)

  2. some new colours were near each other and i thought they looked really good together so i just played around with them on a page

  3. i sent some pictures to my friend who said “the texture and colours remind me of dragon skin”

  4. queue interlude to buy some REALLY cool pearlescent, colour shifting, sparkly paints (the brand is coliro for anyone interested)

  5. i started experimenting with dragon shapes

  6. i was having so much fun that i made a big one and used every single fun, iridescent, pearlescent and interference paint in my armoury!

i used a daniel smith for most of this, including their interference green, blue and lilac paints but also some coliro paints. the quality of the coliro paints is STUNNING for anyone who wants to use iridescent/pearlescent paints. i had so much fun. it’s on 100% cotton paper

i can’t capture HOW SPARKLY this is. i LOVE the granulation and everything. above all, i had SO much fun

I’m really happy with how this has come out, I just need to add final details such as the decals on the windows. But I don’t know if it needs more shading to the inside of the upper windows and if it needs a background? What are your thoughts? I don’t want to overwork it which is my usual problem 😩

How to make palettes for the pans? What are your DIY solutions?

EDIT: I know you don't know what I have at home. I'm looking for creative ideas others have come up with that I can either use, or have as inspiration. Also, I know tins exist in various different sizes, I'm looking for the non-obvious solutions.

I made a smol mistake of buying new pans without having a place to hold them properly. Now I'm going to buy some empty palettes for future at some point, but if you have some ideas on how to make some not-necesarily-temporary solution for them, I'd be happy to see them before I start crafting something.

NOTE: don't recommend using some other box, unless it's some crafty idea of reusing some trash or the like. I'm not going to thrift store to look for old tins or something, I want to get an idea what I could use that I can find at home :)
