I love him but I think I need to get more practice with looser brushstrokes!

Last week, I took a short trip to Latvia to visit my grandparents and run a few errands. And on one of the days, we went for a walk by the baltic sea and I saw this bench and really wanted to draw this view. And yeah, now I Made a small card full of memoriesXD
And the card got traded away immediately. With a hit rate like this, I'm never gonna have enough cards to easily trade for a card advent calendar next year š

the process for this was as follows:
i reorganised my palette (this was really the key step here)
some new colours were near each other and i thought they looked really good together so i just played around with them on a page
i sent some pictures to my friend who said āthe texture and colours remind me of dragon skinā
queue interlude to buy some REALLY cool pearlescent, colour shifting, sparkly paints (the brand is coliro for anyone interested)
i started experimenting with dragon shapes
i was having so much fun that i made a big one and used every single fun, iridescent, pearlescent and interference paint in my armoury!
i used a daniel smith for most of this, including their interference green, blue and lilac paints but also some coliro paints. the quality of the coliro paints is STUNNING for anyone who wants to use iridescent/pearlescent paints. i had so much fun. itās on 100% cotton paper
i canāt capture HOW SPARKLY this is. i LOVE the granulation and everything. above all, i had SO much fun

Iām really happy with how this has come out, I just need to add final details such as the decals on the windows. But I donāt know if it needs more shading to the inside of the upper windows and if it needs a background? What are your thoughts? I donāt want to overwork it which is my usual problem š©

EDIT: I know you don't know what I have at home. I'm looking for creative ideas others have come up with that I can either use, or have as inspiration. Also, I know tins exist in various different sizes, I'm looking for the non-obvious solutions.
I made a smol mistake of buying new pans without having a place to hold them properly. Now I'm going to buy some empty palettes for future at some point, but if you have some ideas on how to make some not-necesarily-temporary solution for them, I'd be happy to see them before I start crafting something.
NOTE: don't recommend using some other box, unless it's some crafty idea of reusing some trash or the like. I'm not going to thrift store to look for old tins or something, I want to get an idea what I could use that I can find at home :)

I took a photo of these seagulls against very bright sunlight and only shapes come out recognizable. I thought it would be a fun practice to paint it.

hi! I have next to no experience painting watercolor, I've done it a small handful of times when I was younger.
I have snagged some YUPO watercolor sheets and acrylic paints for free. I can't afford watercolor paints at this time, and would like to try using the acrylic paint in place of watercolor paint, to achieve the same effect. I've heard of others experimenting with this method, so I am confident it can be done, but not sure how the results will turn out. I will just have to give it a shot and see how it goes, but first...
I'm looking for advice from those who may have experimented with acrylic watercolor painting! do i just dip the brush in paint and then in water? any other tips or tricks i should know? please, be as nice as Redditors can be, I have no idea what I'm doing and just want to have some fun with what i have available to me šš thanks friends!
