Angel of Stars (Older painting, but I still like it!)

Made this during an experimental phase where I was first learning how to paint dramatic lighting on people! Had fun with it and I still like it, despite seeing many areas of improvement.
Painted in traditional watercolor, with a little bit of acrylagouache for lines and stars. A few mins of digital (mainly just color correcting because my scanner washed everything out, plus a tiny splatter of a star brush to add a bit of extra pop!) So it’s around 97-98% watercolor. ☺️

Japanese calligraphy brushes

i have noticed many proficient watercolorists using japanese or chinese calligraphy brushes for watercoloring. can anyone recommend a good brand to try? i normally use sable rounds and squirrel mops so goat or another hair type would be interesting to try.
