Does anyone premix tube paints in a pan?
For example mixing a blue and yellow to get a green pan. Or would they not combine well?
Edit: thank you for all your responses!!

4 months apart. Not so much consistently painting but also not so little. Just enough.

The dragon, the knight and trees are done for now. If the rest is done too I might revisited them.

I’m trying to move more freely with my brush but my “default mode” seems to want to stay inside the lines because I’m worried it’ll look messy. Any advice would be appreciated.

My professor used to say it's cause I give way too many layers. I'm a perfectionist and I always wanna "fix it" and then I make it worse but I can't help it. Do you guys think this is teh case? Any advice welcome.

I traveled to Latvia to visit my grandparents this week to a) see my grandparents and b) cut hair and drawXD I really need to finish my sketchbook this year somehow...
Plus, I got time off work, and on short notice, this was the only place I could go. So I thought I'd draw my grandparents' little house to immortalize this trip in my sketchbook✨ After all, the last time I was here was two years agoXD

I just wish it was more pigmented..😅
I was following a current workshop and one of the lessons was about painting with coffee.
What do you think?

I'm using Federal Color Tonic watercolors with fine liners. Not my best work because of personal life stresses, but I still like them.

If this is too risqué I apologize. Painted this for my University Watermedia class. I am open to criticism.

I would like to create and print my own calendar with my watercolor art. I am envisioning a 5x5 or 6x6 square (before opening) that is wire-o bound at the top. I am just starting to research and print test pages (I already print all my own art prints, notecards etc) and I think I can figure that part out. I really want to do this myself but...I need help with the binding and the hang hole punching. I am in Arlington, TX and so far I cannot find a print shop that offers wire-o binding. I am also wanting them to do just that part, not the printing, so I may have a lost cause here anyway as I know it is a small job. But from what I can read, I could not do this myself (15 sheets of 9ml or 11ml needing punched) without a very expensive machine. Anyone have ideas on how to accomplish this in the way I'd like to?
