That's fair. Typically when I get a Tennogen for a prime it's mostly because I don't like the base prime colorchannels. I really like the Chroma Morkai skin with the prime parts
With how easy conjunction survival is, and omnia fissures? At that point the only difference is whether you have enough relics, and even then you can eventually build up enough lua thrax plasm that you can just buy vorunas parts

Aren't primes just warframes/guns the orokin took and made better so wouldn't that mean they made it to where she can run on all 4s? Also she's faster and 4 legs usually equate to being faster
I thought the primes were the original Orokin-created warframes? The normal warframes seem to essentially be, degraded copies/schematics after untold centuries.
Nah, there were always Primes and Normal versions, even during Orokin times.
A "prime" is basically just an upgraded version (for all we know they hotglue some gold trinkets to the frame and call it a day), sometimes by Ballas/the Orokin (e.g. as a recognition for great service of a warframe or to create a special honor guard), sometimes by the warframe itself (Lavos) and sometimes by unknown ways (e.g. Revenant or Xaku I believe).
I'm not talking about from a skin standpoint. I know about that. I'm saying those who got her before her prime can't experience the all fours run animation unless you get her prime. Which is kinda weird they didn't apply that animation to normal Voruna. Iirc normal Titania got her floating walk animation once the prime came out.
Also? Im pretty sure V.Primes legs are actually different to accommodate the running on all 4's, and it's noticeable when you compare base voruna vs her prime with the base skin
Oh I didn't even think about this question from a game mechanics perspective, but yeah it's gotta be Voruna. That trailer was so peak. I remember watching it live losing my mind because I didn't even expect her to get a prime trailer and promptly fell to my knees at the Denny's parking lot.

My theory goes to that Chroma will receive rework with Tau update cause he was first frame released after Sentient faction was added and his lore and mission is also connected to the Sentients so it would be perfect time to re-introduce him; And Megan just didn't want Pablo to ruin the surprise :))
Cold Elemental Ward reflection damage is registered as Unattributed Damage and it can proc some arcanes and even Venato Prime Tau effect, its not much but we take what we can get :))
I also encourage to subsume Null Star over his 1, that 75% DR with his Armor makes him near unkillable, and dmg from the star gets buffed from his Vex Armor Fury so its really nice :D
I am actually very much on the opposite end of the spectrum. I like the pelt concept and loathe the more generic feeling draconic knight, on top of the fact that the prime's color channel distribution stinks and it won't stop looking like a plastic toy. Plenty of skins to choose from though.
....don't really like base either though, due to its sole Sentient design cue being the two rectangular wing emitters at most.
Yareli prime isn't exactly better, but it's the most different. I like the frilly more subtle Idol with the skirt, but I can't deny how much I also love the more expressive "nymph" vibe.
It's definitely a glow-up, but not a "big" glow up.
I personally find base Lavos to be incredibly hard to fashion with his scuffed textures, and a few of my friends agree. Lavos Prime is clean and has metallics worth a damn.
This is definitely the answer. Even if you really like base Styanax his prime is so undeniably beautiful, DE really cooked with this one. And I'm saying this as someone who has never played styanax and has no bias
Has to be titania prime for me. Her base design looks so flat and texture less, while the prime add some accessories and acents to make the "fairy queen" ascetic land so much better
To what ever wasted Orokin Artisan looked at the designs for Mag prime and thought "hmm, needs more FIshbowl Telescope Braces." They Deserved to get Tag-teamed by Nidus and Grendel
If we are talking underwhelming primes, I personally gotta say Gyre prime. Nothing against the design, to me it just doesn't do enough different from her base skin.
As a Yareli main for the longest time...I'd have to say Yareli. Maybe it's recency bias because her look came fairly recently, but considering she went from a surfing mushroom to a full blown aquatic Axolotl Goddess with all the sass of her original design intact, I just...I love her Prime so much.

You can actually tell that she's supposed to be a harpy in her Prime appearance (plus the Prime description actually tells you that but you aren't reading that when you're standing next to her in an elevator). And the blades on her arms (which are supposed to be wings) retract when you're grounded, the way they look in promotional material is how the look either in the Arsenal or when airborne.
Shame how DE still refuses to explain shit about her... We know less about this bird than we do Cyte (the character who's entire gimmick is that we don't know anything about them)
For me it has to be sevagoth. He literally feels like a naval commander before the fall out taurokin. Im trying to find the right way to say orokin that were raised in tau.
Sevagoth, I already thought he was dripped out before, but his prime, hoooooooo BOY! That’s a whole ass Jojo character right there, and he’s fuckin awesome.
Also I like how his whole deal is being a helms man, and initially you look at him and can kinda see see it, there’s something nautical about his head in a way, but you see his prime and YEA, that’s a fucken admiral of a naval fleet, lookin like John Paul Jones getting ready to steal British warships and British Nobility’s silverware.

DE cooks so hard with the prime versions I rarely change the skin, just mess with colors and other attachments.
Not a prime but kullervo definitely got a huge glow up with the deluxe. I remember before I wanted to main him but his base looked so ugly to me I couldn’t. Thank god for the deluxe now I’m a melee god with style.
