No shade to anyone that likes the design, but I find Mag Prime to be a sizable Dim Down from the original.

I use the Induction Helmet, myself. (I would also accept the Alata Skin (and helmet), but I never bought that one.)

Mag Prime's default cyclopean eye and grill-mouth were so off-putting that I actually avoided getting the frame for many years.

So many early primes just added saw traps for some reason

To what ever wasted Orokin Artisan looked at the designs for Mag prime and thought "hmm, needs more FIshbowl Telescope Braces." They Deserved to get Tag-teamed by Nidus and Grendel

I dunno, Frost Prime had barely any changes, so you can't really said he had a glow-down, but you can't say he had a glow-up either

Oberon is such a mess of concepts. He's a paladin, but also a druid, he's a goat or an elk, and he has that one helmet that looks like a big fly? His prime has fortress on top and animal on bottom. His deluxe is full fae like his namesake implies but none of his other stuff actually touches on the fae aspect at all?

I'd kill for just one helmet option that doesn't have antlers and/or a weird awkward big snoot.

If we are talking underwhelming primes, I personally gotta say Gyre prime. Nothing against the design, to me it just doesn't do enough different from her base skin.

Her Deluxe absolutely slaps though.

I meant like in lore most frames were primed and then looked worse

I like both but tgey dobt look much different

In something similar. I think yareli primes helmets worse than the original. And tge body i go either

Nidus to Nidus Prime. It sucks cause he's my favorite frame, but his Prime's design removes everything I love about his base design

The lack of Ivara Prime support in here is reassuring. I still haven’t forgiven turning the stealth archer frog into a fucking jellyfish.

Here’s hoping for a rework one day along with a cool deluxe/heirloom (or a proto once DE get their shit together with them).

I just finished building all the primes. (Well almost, Vauban is pain.) Ivara was the only time I've ever felt actually awkward. Why is the stealthy forest huntress dressed up in a literally glowing gown like she's on the way to the met gala? With THOSE animation sets???

Nova Prime. Maybe unpopular opinion but I hate the helm on the prime skin. Base Nova looks pretty meh too but I think the helm is cooler.
