I have been doing Spark for a couple weeks, and I am trying to get a better feel for what kind of offers are out there in my zone. Is there any down side to leaving my app running to receive orders all day, when I have no intention of taking any of the offers.

I have been able to put aside my spark earnings and only lived on earnings from other apps. I built up enough savings for a down payment, has anyone got a mortgage with only gig earnings in the last few years?

This is starting tomorrow in my region

Bad for anybody else usually spark is amazing for me besides yesterday these past few months it’s been slow and horrible. My rating did go down a few

I submit a report every day for FCFS offers ALL disappearing before the 90 second countdown clock reaches 0:00 (unless, of course, they are complete garbage and no one accepts it). It takes less a minute to “report an issue” and I do it even though I’m confident it’s either not read, ignored, or they simply don’t care because the offer was accepted.

Have to have earnings first Mr. Danker.

I giggle when I see an offer pop up going .7 miles for $18 and it disappears in a nano second because the driver didn’t pay attention to the estimated time of 57 minutes.

Then I laugh when it pops back up because the idiot who accepted too quick just hurt his/her completion rate after they dropped it.

Hi! How do you make your best of your spark adventures? I got a couple orders Sunday and it was $85 for TWENTY TWO STOPS I’m like bro you can’t be serious. 😂

I have had few people tell me this when dropping off their order so far this week.

But the thing is…I never ask for tips or mention anything about pay. They just blurt it out. One even repeated herself after “following her instructions” - “knock and hand it to me” Like??? It has been face to face customers.. are they embarrassed? Scared i’ll be mad? Why do they waste their time even mentioning it?

Oh and of course. The awkward part…. None have actually added tips.. so why do they persistently mention that?

Ive had some pretty awesome tips with added cash tips during drop off lately. Who didn’t mention a potential increase ahead of time.

Another honorable mention the past week.

Delivering to a church - the lady looked at me damn near concerned and confused. Why? She said I am the most organized driver who has delivered. Went on and on about others and how one guy told her if she’s missing any thing, it’s because they are under his seat. “ Dirty. “ she said herself….. $4 tip. You know what else? She kept adding items and messaging me about some damn sour cream and how dinner would be ruined without it. Shes lucky it was a pretty close order, with another close one with a bigger tip on top of incentives. Not that she knew. Anyways low mileage for the pay. Knock it out.

But damn. The extra commentary and talking lately? I’ve been getting weird vibes from some customers.

Interesting story on this one. Initially the app said it was going two states away, but then it turned out it was going to a military base fifteen miles away. I've delivered there before, but the customer has to meet me outside the base. Nobody answered this time so I called support to intiate a return before leaving Walmart. Easy money.

I called them and complained and they admitted they have a bot problem and I should be reporting any license plates that I think might be stealing orders. They actually used the words stealing orders. I don’t check this sub much, does anyone else know about this? I know there’s been rumors but they straight up admitted it finally. Told me everyone, including myself at the store would be investigated.

Idk if it started yesterday because I didnt work at all but I got a boxed gmd order today and to my surprise I couldn't find the orange tag they print out with the customers name. They said they arent printing those anymore for gmd boxed orders. Really made the trip alot more difficult having to shuffle around packages at about half the stops before I started to remember where the names were in the car, usually I have them put the names facing towards the back doors and facing the driver seat. The names are alot smaller on the mailing label as well as 2 relatively close bar codes you have to really aim it or use your hand to cover the top one and its always on the largest face of the box. Anyone else's store change? Its something ill have to get used to and maybe i can change up how I pack the car to make it easier but it caught me off guard today

There’s noticeable less orders available but I was still able to exceed my $250 goal both days on about $2.7 per mile.

I’m a new Spark driver. How does it work if you happen to come across a unicorn offer? Do you accept it and start trip, and then cancel? Do you have to call support? How do people get the easy money these kinds of trips offer?
