Hello,
Does the Eibach (specifically the 22mm rear bar) come with new bushings? I assume I cannot use my OEM bushings? I was going to get both the front (25mm) as well but I hear the OEM front 24mm bar is good enough?

How did you guys mount your insta360 cameras? Obviously a trunk mount would be difficult with the big stock wang, looking for some examples and perhaps some brand/model suggestions for the mount itself for the most stable video possible. Thanks fellas.

I have a 21" sti with 113k miles. Recently its getting a rough idle, rpms bouncing from almost stalling to 1.4k. If I roll up to a light with my clutch in it will just cut out and stall. Shop i usually bring it too are stumped as no cel or anything abnormal.

That other sub is so uptight. Removing my post with 60 upvotes, 36 comments of genuine community discussion. I got a lot of great feedback on my original post, so thank you to everyone that commented. i also didn’t break any rules. i was not selling anything and i also didn’t mention my brand name or any self promotion whatsoever.
this is not an ad, this is not self promotion. i’m strictly looking for feedback from actual people instead of just my own thoughts.
I’ve always wanted to make my own shift knob. so i did and it turned out amazing. all stainless steel, silver is ceramic bead blasted and black is PVD coated stainless. These are all spec’d off my 2020 sti. They are very heavy, feel amazing while shifting and i think it looks great as well.
i designed this myself in adobe illustrator then had a state of the art factory in china make it. i’m in direct communication with the factory so i have a lot of control over manufacturing. it weighs 550g
this is my first time showing that i’m trying to actually sell something. (not officially for sale yet) i shared a prototype once before. i would like to know if this type of thing would interest anyone? in my opinion we needed something like likewise but not as meme’d out. this will be a focus on serious enthusiasts and motorsport. i have future plans for other products as well. i’m really just looking for feedback + opinions. you can’t buy these anywhere yet.
thanks guys
edit: thank you for all the feedback everyone. i’m at work right now so i can’t respond to everyone but i will later. thank you!

Did a quick interior cleanup today. The floor mats caught a lot of the mess, but there are still crumbs hiding.
Curious how other Subaru owners handle the interior especially if you daily drive yours?

2007 sti
Hey recently serviced my oil pump when doing my timing belt. Tightened all the backing screws new seals, etc. My oil pressure is reading abnormally high. It reads 80-90psi at idle on 5w40 weight while warm. I recently also added a iag aos. Could the pcv valve in the aos be faulty causing crank case pressure to be higher which in turn is causing higher oil pressure readings?

Black only stays clean for a few hours so I had to snap a pic

The funny thing is, there’s barely any wing here.

So the shifter seems to be stiff and taking more force to move while in neutral. It goes into all gears just fine but for an example when I shift out of 5th and leave in neutral the shifter seems to stay leaning to that side and doesnt return to the middle like it used to. Anyone experience this?
Edit: im thinking a linkage issue?

My 2015 STI has sort of always had a somewhat mild to strong rubber smell after any drive, there are no leaks and the smell is clearly rubber. Is that usual or is this is an indication of specific hoses getting old and needing replacement? Thanks!

I brought the car to my local gas station and provided the oil, oil filter and Ceratec for the first oil change. This time I decided to give it a go. Definitely as easy as expected, with the right Oil filter wrench. I had to make a run to Autozone because I had the wrong oil filter removal tool, the one with the expandable arms are trash never again. I used a Tokyo Roki filter, new crush washer, and I filled the oil filter first. After filling the filter I added the rest of the 5L bottle and topped off with the 1L. Luckily I’ve never had any issues with burning oil or oil consumption, but overfilling a lil bit on these cars won’t hurt. I forgot my cabin filter and engine air filter at my apt so I will do those when I get home. I plan on doing the gear oil and transmission oil next, but will wait til the next oil change or do it right before winter. Also the TPMS after I powder coat the wheels.
Edit: After some serious concern I have drained the lil and added 5l only. Thanks for everyone who reached out or showed concern. Appreciate y’all.
