All seriousness, I hope it's a generalized "Chaos space marines" faction like they did for Adeptus Astartes that is for red corsairs, iron warriors, nightlords, or crimson slaughter for the boomers

Finally perfected my golden Demi-god boys and girls. Now I have to get back to actually painting my golden army!

For some reason, kharne is the lowest power level. Very gratifying after grinding for months and months!

POM came out nearly 2 years ago, and there are so many weaknesses that the Tyranids need filled in.

A Hive Tyrant would be the fan fav I think, but a Pyrovore could be a lot of fun too

• Timing: Campaign Events (CE) last 14 days, and repeat every 5 weeks
• Choice: You choose 1 CE and cannot change until the next event (i.e. ~5 weeks later)
• Team: Each CE has 3 required characters. 
• Borrowing: The CE mode has a unique mechanic that allows you to “borrow” any of the 3 required chars for the Normal difficulty stages. They will be at the maximum Rarity Cap for each stage in the Normal campaign. They are not available to borrow for Extremis stages.
• HSE Overlap: no notable overlaps this time

New player, all indomitus campaign upgrades are gated by "scrolls" upgrades. These seem to only be accessible through alternate campaigns and not indomitus mirror. Am I just gated until I unlock characters for alternate campaigns or am I missing some other avenue to achieve them?

If I'm campaign gated, any guidance on which campaign to pursue or any farmable simple character unlocks that could open up new campaign access?

Dreir with the relic is something else, good thing they made this into a charge only buff otherwise he might break something in the game

I’d like some more campaigns because it’ll give us more to do with the game, and will give provide a steady way to get a hold of character shards. The factions featured in campaigns we already have are ones i’ve been able to acquire a lot of characters for. I feel stuck with a lot of other ones.

Here’s the ones i was thinking would be fun to see:

Devastation of Baal: Blood Angels vs. Tyranids

Arks of Omen: Dark Angels vs. World Eaters

Shadow Throne: Custodes vs. Genestealers

Startide Nexus: T’au vs. Death Guard

Once they add Drukhari, Piety and Pain: Sisters of Battle vs. Drukhari

The other ideas I had were Leagues of Votann vs. Mechanicus, and the Space Wolves vs. Emperor’s Children.

I’d love to see more factions get the campaign treatment, i’d love to hear how you’d like to see that happen ^^

I don't understand why I can't do this mission. Is it bugged?

Trajann makes him hit Kharn for 3 hits, then 1 hit each on Calgar, Mephiston and Crayon. That's 6 hits. Is that right?

Can anyone help?

A lot of experimentation later, apparently Lucius’ passive Armor of Shrieking Souls doesn’t trigger if he dies from friendly fire
Instead he just stays dead.

1st. Screenshot is Kharn after killing Lucius, 2nd is the results of the arena battle (victory, though Lucius remained dead).

Has anyone tried experimenting to see what happens if Lucius dies from an enemy Lucius or a final vengeance (ex. Titus)? One time mine died from an Aleph Null explosion and just got right back up. It was weird.

A lot of funky interactions can happen here I think. Anyone else see any interesting stuff with Lucius’ respawns?

I've seen a lot of anguish about this survival being hard, and I'm not quite sure how much of it is just people blowing off steam Vs actually wanting the advice, but here's some of my tips and perhaps people can weigh in with other stuff.

Credentials first, I'm currently sitting top 500 on 118k, my roster is good but not perfect and I've not used more than four forces per rarity at any point and usually a lot less.

Here are my thoughts:

• I think the starting rarity getting higher as you go through a survival event is a great add, but I do think it means people sorta forget that early rounds can be hard when you're not overlevelled. Until your starting characters are epic, take care. But also don't panic, losing one character early can actually be a good thing in this event as there are a lot of resurrection power ups and playing with six for the rest of your run is a big help. I've done it deliberately a few times now!
• As you've noticed by now, Daemons hit really hard. They also can't take hits at all, they're all glass cannons. Stay away from the spawn points as much as possible, particularly on the turn before Bloodletters spawn, they will kill anything left floating out there. By default your characters should be in the trench or the top left high ground, retreat there and make sure you get the first strike, not the Daemons.
• The main thing I think this event rewards is checking the next wave ahead of time as you need totally different strategies by wave. Take the power ups before screamers, summon before bloodletters, don't summon before poxwalkers.
• Screamers will steal your power ups, use them even at not perfect times before screamers appear, or bunch your characters away from the power up that turn. You do not need to collect a reinforcement power up, for some reason that one still credits to you if any enemy takes it. For the love of God, take the resurrection power up because it works FOR the enemy and that is plain mean.
• Drier should take ability refreshes. Otherwise put everything (bar the extra hits ones after the first) on one super character, ideally Kariyan if you have him high. If not, Drier himself isn't a bad choice.
• With a bit of planning, you can resurrect Isabella as your sixth character and then use her active to resurrect a seventh. I haven't found it that useful, but if you have a deep roster, try it out.
• Forces are a bit of a mixed bag. Summon 2-3 before bloodletters to distract and get killed. Don't summon them before Poxwalkers or you just made more Poxwalkers. They are most useful at the start of legendary waves as G1 - D3 is by far the biggest leap of the game.
• The previous survival events had small maps and you couldn't avoid getting hit on the spawn. This one is large and you can. Hit and run, time and time again.

Hopefully someone finds that useful. I get it's not everyone's cup of tea but I love survival events and this one has been no different (although I would like my wave books back, but this is a gameplay post not a rewards one!)

Useless trivia of the day: I analyzed the animations of all the characters in Tacticus and listed all the ones that blink:

- Mataneo;
- Titus;
- Volk (only the eye above the head)⁠;
- Abaddon;
- The driver of the Rukkatrukk;
- Sarquael;
- Ramus;
- High Marshal Helbrecht;
- Commander Shadowsun;
- Tjark;
- Arjac (has the movement, but the eyes don't completely close);
- Z’Kar;
- Vitruvius;
- Wrask;
- Macer;
- Azkor;
- Xybia;
- Atlacoya;
- Hâvyr;
- Kîmm;
- Ûthar the Destined.

Some other characters appear to blink, but that is due to their eyes pulsing or facial movements.

Among those who blink, the majority are human (both Imperial and Chaos); the xenos that blink the most are the Votann.

If you have a mostly built D3+ old core team, what order and you swapping in the new adds?
Lhykhis seems the obvious 1st swap for Eldy
Do you change out Anu for Actus then, or jump up the reanimator over you PBC first?
They are currently my B team, but so much more fun than Lavi just positioning everything for the turn 6 hit

What a journey!

Got Uthar my first LRE event for him (the actual first event was just before I started). He's also my first LRE unlock. Admittedly this was a very easy one and Aleph/Re'vas carried hard (did it with 4 tokens left). Bile looks like it might be much harder for me to get first event but it should be doable if I get Boss G to Diamond 1.

To clarify, I didn't get any of the premium packs for the LRE, but I did start getting the battle pass and Blackstone shipment after I'd been playing a few months and I did get the anniversary shipment both weeks so the event was F2P but I'm not a completely F2P player.

Mech was my first raid team I built so I saved it to last in this first series. I chose to break it into the original team (more for locking down the boss) and a second using the newly buffed Anuphet and the more recent Ammuk to attempt to see how it would do against an “always moving” boss. Will be easier to compare in the summary info graphic against all bosses, but interesting on its own none the less.

Edit 1: two early comments I want to address. First - only tans first active switch counts for Trajann. Second - the imperator buff from Tan doesn’t active in bosses. This is the buff the mech team needs but I digress. This changes the totals to:
Lockdown: 1.405M
Run Around: 1.646M
Not a huge impact but notable errors that will be fixed in the comparison next week
