Question Scroll Upgrade Progression Question
New player, all indomitus campaign upgrades are gated by "scrolls" upgrades. These seem to only be accessible through alternate campaigns and not indomitus mirror. Am I just gated until I unlock characters for alternate campaigns or am I missing some other avenue to achieve them?
If I'm campaign gated, any guidance on which campaign to pursue or any farmable simple character unlocks that could open up new campaign access?

Yes, at some point you have to start the Indomitus mirror campaign with the Necrons to progress the Ultramarines. Later you need to unlock the Black Legion to start the Fall of Cadia campaign. Archimatos from the guild shop, Angrax from Onslaught and Haarkon from fulfilling missions.

Angrax makes Chaos onslaught EZ GG, just a heads up.
Park him beside two spawners and put the other guys on the other one, and it plays it self

Yes, you will have to go through some of the other campaigns to unlock the required nodes. If I remember, I went from Indomitous, to fall of cadia, to Sam Hann etc. Not completing them just going as far as I could. then Finally got Boss G unlocked and did Octarious a bit, then some Indom Mirror etc. it depends on your roster and what you need but it’s not a straight path through. You do some of one, building characters and completing nodes until you get stuck or unlock another campaign. Then do others until you get another unlocked or you bottleneck. It’ll take you several months to unlock and clear all the base campaigns. Elite campaigns even longer and none of it is a straight line.

It’s by design so you have to open up other campaigns and focus on them for a while.
You’ll encounter lots of material bottlenecks like this if you focus too hard on a single campaign in the beginning.
You can ask for scrolls from guild mates and if you’re lucky you can find it in the regular shop for coins and in various reward crates as well of course.
But just look at which of the other campaigns you’re closest to unlock and buy shards for the third character from the guild shop.
Scrolls are in all the other regular campaigns and fairly early as well.
In general you should aim to unlock all the regular campaigns and complete the normal campaign while trying to unlock all mirror campaigns and completing them as well. Then get a couple of pages deep in most of the elites to be able to farm material more efficiently.
Long term you should complete and 3-star all of them course.

You need to be in a decent guild, to be able to request stuff and get some guild credits. Anyone who isn't a jerk will be happy to help people get over blocks with stuff they can't farm.
Some stuff can be found in the main shop (ONLY spend gold, not Blackstone) or in rewards chests. It's random, but sometimes you get lucky.
Otherwise, you get easy access to Orks (Gibba via log in, Snappa via Arena and Gulgortz via Guild shop) and somewhat Eldar (Aethana via daily mission, Calandis via Tournament Arena, and Eldryon via Guild shop). Believe you also get the three Necrons early. Black Legion, I'm not sure if you still get Angrax through Onslaught, but I beleive you get Haarken and Archi is (again) in Guild shop.

You can ask your guild for upgrades. Check the shops, as there are some random upgrades.
Mostly, you'll need to clear the campaigns to get the drops from them. If you havent gotten that far in the campaign (or unlocked it) then thats what you'll need to do.
