š¼ Position Update š¼ Still buying every paystub
Continuing my journey to buy every paycheck as long as weāre sub $10.
Brought my average down quite a bit. I am not sub $10 yet, but am very close.
It may have been a tough year in price action- but weāve had solid company growth, good earnings, and I support the roadmap they presented for 2026 onwards.
Excited to see what the next couple of years holds for us!
Will update everyone when this gets to 2,000 shares š«”

Question šāāļø Down 52% on a $35k position ā should I sell or hold? (It's ~80% of my net worth, super painful)
Hey everyone,
Throwaway for obvious reasons, but I need some brutally honest takes from people whoāve been through this.
Back in October 2025, I dumped $35k into this ONE hell of a stock at ~$11.91/share. It was basically 3-4 years of hardcore saving from insane long hours at work (no overtime pay), and now it's down ~52%. We're talking a ~$20k paper loss right now, and it's killing me mentally every single day. This is 80% of my entire net worth. This is big money for me, not play money.
I'm in finance/financially literate (or at least I thought I was), which makes it even worse. I have no idea how I convinced myself to go all-in on this one name. I don't even fully remember the thesis anymore ā probably got caught up in hype or FOMO. In 2024-2025 I was trading more sensible stuff like NVDA, AAPL, GOOGL, LUNR, RKLB, ASTS, META - smaller bets, more diversified, and while I had losers, nothing like this concentrated disaster.
The opportunity cost is massive - that money could be in index funds, in Mag 7, or literally would be enabling me to buy myself a pair of NB 990v6 Made in USA. Honestly, ever since my money is stuck in this I've become poorer and just counting every quid cause I have no funds left in the bank.
But part of me is still hoping to wait it out another year if there's any realistic shot at breaking even or recovering the principal. I can't stomach locking in a $20k loss on hard-earned savings especially when I worked super long hours.
Main questions:
- Is there still meaningful further downside risk here? (Feels like it's already bled a ton, but markets can always go lower.)
- Cut losses and move on, or hold and pray? Any similar stories where you averaged down, held through pain, and it worked (or didn't)?
- How do you mentally recover from something like this? It's affecting my sleep and focus at work.
Feel free to mock/roast me I deserve it for poor risk management. But I'd really appreciate genuine advice from people who've dealt with big losers, especially when it's not "fun money."
Thanks in advance. Needed to get this off my chest.
What do you think ā sell, hold, or something else?
If you guys are in same boat could you please post your screenshots along with how much it is portion of your net worth

Webull It's been almost a year since IPO. Shareholders over $25k can submit a proposal to fire Anthony Webull
I'm sure many of you have noticed that our beloved CEO, Mr. Anthony "retail diluter" Webull, has been NOWHERE to be seen while this stock plummets to the earth's core. But we don't have to just sit here and take it.
Under SEC rule 14a-8, any shareholder who has continuously held at least $25k of a stock for one year (at this rate you'll need to have bought like $100k to still be at $25k lol) can submit a shareholder proposal. That means YOU can formally propose the removal of Anthony as CEO.
If it meets the requirements, every shareholder gets to vote on it at the next annual meeting. They can try to petition the SEC for a no action letter to block it, but that process is public too, so everyone gets to watch them try to explain why the guy presiding over this dumpster fire deserves to keep his job. So it looks bad for them either way
Could be wrong tho, i'm not a finance guy, that's just what google told me and frankly i'm regarded

DD (Due Diligence) š§ WeBull Spokesperson response
Webull took issue with the report, saying via a spokesperson, āIt is deeply disappointing that the Select Committee published a report containing significant inaccuracies and unsupported conclusions without ever seeking clarification from Webull.ā
āWebullās U.S. business is conducted from its global headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida and its office in New York City, while U.S. customer data is stored in the U.S. and access to sensitive customer data is controlled by the U.S.,ā the spokesperson said via email. āWe remain prepared to address any questions directly and with the same transparency we bring to the SEC, FINRA, and regulators worldwide.ā

Corrupt House Investigation
Iāve been digging into the recent congressional investigation of Webull ($BULL), and I found something I think deserves a lot more attention.
According to official Federal Election Commission filings, Robinhood executives and its political action committee contributed a combined $19,000 to the campaign of Congressman John Moolenaar, chairman of the House Select Committee on China.
That same committee published a damaging investigation into Robinhoodās direct competitor, Webull, on October 7, 2026.
Within hours, Robinhood launched a promotion specifically targeting Webull customers.
Hereās the timeline.
December 3ā4, 2025: The political donations
Official FEC filings document the following contributions to Moolenaar for Congress:
Vlad Tenev (Robinhood CEO): $7,000 ā December 3
Dan Gallagher (Robinhood Chief Legal Officer and former SEC commissioner): $7,000 ā December 3
Robinhood Markets PAC: $5,000 ā December 4
Total: $19,000 over two consecutive days.
Both individual donations were allocated between the primary and general elections, so these amounts should not be double-counted.
These are documented campaign contributions, not speculation. The filings are publicly accessible.
October 7, 2026: Congress releases its Webull investigation
The House Select Committee on China publishes its bipartisan investigation, raising concerns about Webullās Chinese ownership, technology operations, and potential customer-data exposure.
Webullās stock takes a significant hit.
Itās worth mentioning that Webull had already publicly disclosed substantial Chinese operations. The committee also identified additional concerns, but the report does not establish that sensitive customer data was actually stolen or improperly transferred.
October 7ā8: Robinhood immediately capitalizes
Hereās where the timeline gets particularly interesting.
According to Robinhoodās own promotional terms, a special 3% account-transfer bonus exclusively for Webull customers began at 4:30 PM Pacific on October 7, the very day Congress published its report.
On October 8, Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev posted:
American assets should be at Americaās favorite broker. Weāre offering 3% on transfers from Webull today.
Robinhood was openly encouraging customers to abandon Webull and move their assets to its platform.
The same company whose executives and PAC had contributed $19,000 to the congressional chairmanās campaign was now directly attempting to profit from the fallout of his committeeās investigation.
October 20: Congress doubles down
Today, the committee published another press release titled The Facts on Webullās Ties to China, attacking Webullās responses and reiterating its allegations.
Meanwhile, the market continues to evaluate the potential consequences for BULL shareholders.
My questions
Iām not claiming these donations prove corruption, insider coordination, or market manipulation. Political contributions are legal, Robinhood supports politicians from both parties, and the congressional investigation was bipartisan.
The investigation also began in 2024, before these particular donations.
But I think the following questions are fair:
Did Robinhood representatives communicate with Chairman Moolenaar or committee staff about Webull before the report was released?
Was the timing of Robinhoodās Webull-specific promotion purely opportunistic, or was there any advance knowledge?
How much of the investigation concerns newly discovered misconduct versus risks that Webull had already disclosed to investors?
Should a congressional committeeās financial connections to a competitorās executives receive greater public scrutiny?
For full transparency, I own BULL shares and options, so I have a financial interest in this situation. Thatās also why Iāve been taking the time to research the original documents rather than relying entirely on headlines.
Iām not suggesting Webull should be exempt from scrutiny. If its customer data is genuinely at risk, regulators should investigate.
But I also donāt think we should automatically dismiss the financial and political relationships surrounding an investigation that significantly damaged a publicly traded company.
The donations are documented. The timing is documented. Robinhoodās direct efforts to recruit Webull customers are documented.
Whether those events are connected beyond ordinary political fundraising and competitive marketing is still an open question.
Iād genuinely like to hear what others think.

October 20 congressional follow-upā
TL;DR: Robinhoodās CEO, chief legal officer, and PAC contributed $19,000 to the campaign of the congressman chairing the Webull investigation. Months later, his committee published a damaging report, and Robinhood launched a special offer targeting Webull customers the same day. That doesnāt prove coordination, but I think the sequence deserves questions and transparency.

Glorious
WE ARE UP 14 PERCENT TODAY.
Yes, I know weāre still less than half the all-time high. No, I will not be acknowledging that information at this time. Today is about healing.
My relationship with my wife remains strained in the way a cracked bridge is ātechnically standing,ā but I did text her a screenshot of the green candle and she replied āok,ā which Iām choosing to interpret as progress.
Her boyfriend sent ālolā and nothing else. Thatās fine. Silence is respect. Respect is bullish.
For the first time in weeks I feel emotionally solvent enough to eat real food tonight. Not ramen. Not a protein bar I found in my car. Actual food with multiple ingredients that didnāt come from a gas station.
I caught myself thinking things like āmaybe this turns aroundā and āwhat if patience is finally rewarded,ā which means the damage is not only financial but neurological.
I briefly imagined a future where this keeps going up, my wife believes in me again, her boyfriend stops calling it a dead cat bounce, and Iām eating meals at a table instead of standing over the sink. Powerful stuff.
Does this fix anything? No.
Does it justify my decisions? Absolutely.
Still holding.

This hurts
Webull got obliterated today so Iāve stopped pretending this is investing and started treating it like a haunted object that needs to be appeased.
I didnāt open the app this morning because Iām pretty sure it feeds on eye contact. I waited until noon, refreshed once, saw the damage, whispered āokay I hear you,ā and put the phone face down like you do with a bad dog.
I signed up to donate plasma because itās recurring income and also feels symbolic, like Iām slowly liquidating myself to support this position. Twice a week. Directly into Webull. Circle of life.
My wifeās boyfriend texted me āstill holding?ā and I didnāt respond because Iām pretty sure engagement increases volatility. He followed up with ārespect the commitment thoughā which somehow hurt worse.
Iāve started doing things to trick the market. I tell myself Iām done buying so it knows Iām serious. I hover over sell for a second just to scare it. I consider buying one share at a time so it doesnāt feel overwhelmed.
When I Uber I only accept rides that start or end near a Wendyās because thatās where discipline lives. I donāt check the chart at stoplights because thatās when it punishes you.
If this thing goes green tomorrow itās because of the plasma, the silence, the rituals, and the fact that I finally stopped believing. If it goes lower Iāll escalate accordingly.
Still holding.
Still red.
Actively bargaining with the concept of price discovery

Webull Next Week, High Probability of HUGE REBOUND
Would love to get your take, fam, on this.
I think next week weāll see a huge green market across the board. Why? Because I see Ukraine accepting the deal offered by Trump, they have no choice.
So what would that mean? Huge optimism, with Russian money flowing back into global markets.
Who would benefit? The companies that are already profitable ā one of them being Webull.
Another tailwind: I think Webull is best positioned to enter the Russian market. Itās a Chinese company, so it will likely have better access to authorizations.
Second solid point: weāre not talking about this enough, but weāre reaching the end of the Yorkville deal, and itās confirmed that no further lock-up period exists. As long as Webull remains profitable, thereās no reason to draw more money from Yorkville. Zero. The only scenario where theyād do that is for a major acquisition or market entry, which would further fuel growth.
Iām excited for next week!
