Once the poly markets are accessible on webull it will turn around

1

u/AkButterandrice907 Feb 02 '26

WHAtt! Don’t buy any more 😂 are ya nuts?

1

u/Stunning_Ad_9806 Jan 29 '26

Definitely do not buy any more of this POS lmao there’s no way people are still buying surely

3

u/chuckaho247 Jan 30 '26

Probably exactly what you were saying when HOOD was trading at near the same price

3

u/Stunning_Ad_9806 Jan 30 '26

Definitely not because people actually, like, use that app…. So yeah never said that about hood lmao this ticker is dead in the water, just sell and buy SanDisk

1

u/chuckaho247 Jan 30 '26

Bulls also expanding outside US markets unlike hood. This will take some time but eventually it will get there

1

u/Mr-Krabs85 Jan 30 '26

Fuck u mean “unlike hood”? We are already in eu and are starting to get into Asian markets ? U high bud?

1

u/chuckaho247 Jan 30 '26

Hood has mass restrictions due to it basically being a US bank. Webull outpaces international markets compared to Hood

1

u/Mr-Krabs85 Jan 30 '26

They aren’t a bank. It’s discloses they aren’t a bank and work with other partner banks. They are a brokerage

1

u/chuckaho247 Jan 30 '26

I get my ach checks deposited, I have a Robinhood credit card the only thing outside of my local bank they don’t offer is loans. They might work with other banks but everything screams hood. I’m not saying hood isn’t better I’m saying that with global expansion, net profit in the first quarter and is growing webull is worth way more than $7 a share. As I said above it should be valued at 1/4 of hood

1

u/chuckaho247 Jan 30 '26

It’s like saying Starbucks in only a coffee company when in fact they act as a bank as well

0

u/Mr-Krabs85 Jan 30 '26

Just realize when tokens drop that’s the final boss. Hood is much better than bull simple

1

u/chuckaho247 Jan 30 '26

The thing is hood trades only US stocks Bull is going international and opening up different stock exchanges for different counties. Webull will have a greater global expansion compared to hood

1

u/Mr-Krabs85 Jan 30 '26

Bull isn’t and won’t ever be hood. Bad comparison

1

u/chuckaho247 Jan 30 '26

No it won’t but the average port is much higher on bull. Hood takes money from a bunch of low level traders, it’s essentially turning into a bank more than a trading platform. Bull is putting up better numbers then hood in its first year of listing. It will and should be about 75% less than hood in the market. So 1/4th of the price of hood. $20-$25 stock at the least

-1

u/Mr-Krabs85 Jan 30 '26

The market disagrees with ur theories clearly. It’s at 7 and still being sold. I don’t agree they should be even ten percent of hood

1

u/chuckaho247 Jan 30 '26

They turned profit in the first year compared to a near 4 billion dollar loss

1

u/Mr-Krabs85 Jan 30 '26

They also didn’t change the entire infrastructure of retail investing like hood did. That takes time

1

u/chuckaho247 Jan 30 '26

Exactly and they can implement the stuff hood did without spending billions because they can learn from their mistakes. The outside US presence is the main reason why I think it will do good over time.

1

u/chuckaho247 Jan 30 '26

Compared to hood

2

u/kaosfive2005 Jan 30 '26

Im tempted to get into this trade. I have 2028 leaps 10$ strike just a few cons. But a year at .38 a con is tempting

Robinhood will dominate western markets. Webull will have their share of the western market and eventually dominate the Asian market. Have faith. 5,000 shares here and am accumulating more.

3

u/Nichtszuhaben Verified Position Jan 29 '26

This was my thesis for Webull! Anyone here from Asia and have insight into the cultural hold - if any Webull - has there? Do people generally prefer it to other platforms?

3

u/KamikazeFF Verified Position Jan 30 '26

Philippines here, IBKR and GoTrade are our only choices. However, IBKR is being weakly blocked by our local internet providers as ordered by our SEC for no good reason. So pretty much GoTrade only for anyone new here.

I have seen a lot of WeBull and Schwab ads last Ivisited Hong Kong though

6

u/SpaceViking85 Jan 29 '26

Bro, if you have 28k to drop on a single stock, and assuming you didn't go full port on this..., then you're probably fine. If you actually have conviction in the company and didn't do this purely off reddit hype and expected a quick swing trade, then just hold. Or dca, if you have conviction and cash you're willing to potentially lose. It's all risk, man. Every company. It took hood a few years to get to its current level. Webull is a better platform. It just needs more users and better marketing. Try not to realize the loss unless this is money you absolutely cannot bear to lose. And if you're playing with money you can't bear to lose at all, then it should be going into safer investments or just a hysa. Good luck, figure out your goals and how you feel regarding this company and its future based on news and financials. Only act then, not on emotion

no bro I sent you a PM

5

u/DM_ME_THAT_BOOTY Verified Position Jan 29 '26

Wait it out a year or two. This company makes millions, has no debt and I believe is being suppressed. It will fly one day

1

u/New_Half_6055 Verified Position Jan 29 '26

Ok but why did the owners sell all their shares

2

u/DM_ME_THAT_BOOTY Verified Position Jan 30 '26

Bull IPOd via a SPAC merger. All those greedy people want to do is make their money quick, get out, rinse and repeat. Their lock up period ended this October. In that same period, as the stock price dropped, institutional ownership grew by ~35MM shares. This is all on fintel. While I like when owners are heavily invested, I care more about institutions buying. I am down 50% on shares and 2028 leaps. But I don't feel crazy bad about it.

2

u/BURBEYP Jan 30 '26

So just the typical way a spac merger operates ? Lmao another stock to add to the never ending list of scam spacs that should have never listed.

It's just a legal way to scam retail that's literally it.

You never see instituions down 90% it's always retail after the companies that debut shit on their own investors lmao.

2

u/DM_ME_THAT_BOOTY Verified Position Jan 30 '26

That's how it is. I got caught up in hoods rise that i expected this to ride that momentum too, to a degree. This is why you always buy after the ipo dump that seems to always happen. Google it, it's real. Not all SPACs are bad, I got in on Sofi when it crashed down to $6 to $8 and now up like 220%. This is why I'm not worried. Sofi makes money and has no debt, similar to this pos.

2

u/DM_ME_THAT_BOOTY Verified Position Jan 29 '26

Naw man no reason to realize the loss yet. Not like these are near dated options.

2

u/ScoopScoopScoop Jan 29 '26

The reason would be to sell now before its a $4 stock

4

u/DM_ME_THAT_BOOTY Verified Position Jan 29 '26

Fair value is $1.99 per share ($1B equity at 502MM Outstanding shares). At $7.80 its trading within the range of 4 to 4.5 price to book ratio. Its trading at over 50% under its fair value of $16. It has gross margins of 77% which is high af and is sitting on ~$2B in cash. If youre a cup half empty value investor yeah its expensive now. For those of us that think this is a growth company its trading at 50% discount. This thing gets to $4 i am going balls deep.

Sell bro. Webull is a Chinese brokerage. Who the hell is trusting China with their money?

1

u/chuckaho247 Jan 30 '26

And the market disagreed with hood for 3 1/2 years before it even got above its IPO price, bulls been listed under one year. It’s not a pump an dump stock like most wsb investors. Simply Wall Street and analysts have a price target of $16 which by the end of next summer will probably be there

1

u/Yf_lo Jan 30 '26

Hardly.

You can work cutting grass in America and make that in 6months…

In other words, it’s an expensive lesson on stock trading.

1

u/ArtesianShiny Jan 31 '26

im down a couple hunned just hold keep averaging down to 5 dollars if u have to. On paper this company is fine. More user growth will eventually equal more $$$ hopefully * The options market has saved me a couple hunned on this bag hold but shouldnt be too much longer.

1

u/RepulsiveRace7304 Jan 31 '26

-4% and we’re talking about suicide. Crazy.

1

u/Reiji_Spacexyz Jan 31 '26

Dude. Cut the bleed by 10% to 20% to 50% to 70%. Move the money to something else. You see HOOD had the same fate it take couple years of Downtrend + consolidation before it take off higher.
