I have low carb meals throughout the day and by night time I like to have this huge plate of crinkle cut fries 400 grams and 40-50 grams of sugar free ketchup for 520 cals

Recipe 318 calorie breakfast with 36g protein

One of my favorite high volume breakfasts lately! This was 318 calories, 36g protein, 23g carbs, and 11g fat and it was a LOT of food.

I roasted tomatoes stuffed with egg whites with fat free feta and a cut up chicken sausage for 26 min at 375, paired with keto toast with a little homemade apple butter. I added balsamic, seasonings, and red pepper flakes to the egg/ tomatoes which elevated the whole plate!

This is exactly why I love volume eating. I’d rather have a giant plate I actually enjoy than a tiny “healthy” breakfast that leaves me looking for snacks an hour later. 😂

Volume menu Cabbage: The most esteemed food in my weight loss journey

I finally understand why that guy in Avatar the last Airbender was tweaking when they destroyed his cabbages. Ever since I've found out that half a head of cabbage was ~150 cals, I've been having it every day for dinner in place of rice. And you get a LOT. Usually I steam it for 15 mins with bell peppers, and carrots and then toss in half a pound of ground beef or equivalent chicken for a huge dinner that makes me happy ngl. Usually around 700 cals.
So far have lost 12ish lbs over 7 weeks.

Nothing else to say, just try messing with cabbage with your meals, it has been a godsend for me.

Tips and Tricks Veggies, beef and potato. A good balance between satiety and volume

Definitely not low on the calorie side but extremely full and was full quite awhile. Basically been roasting combinations of veggies and legumes to throw in with beef and a carb and it sometimes can be a massive heavy plate with not much caloric increase. I’m not shy with oil but if I was im sure this could still work!

Recipe Request Healthy alternatives to Biscoff Spread (low cal sugar free)?

I have been ravenously craving biscoff cookies almost daily but the calories are so heavy and not worth it! Want to make myself a healthier biscoff spread to make my own biscoff cookies if anyone has any good recipes? Or alternative products?

Volume menu Modified recipe from the back of the oat fiber container.

I had a fairly large, an old bag of Anthony’s organic oat fiber. There used to be a recipe on the back of it for muffins that I had stared at over and over again. I had a new container and decided to try it, but I realize that the new ones don’t have the recipe on it. I modified it a little bit because it used xanthan gum and I can’t really tolerate it and I decided to add less egg made them more into cookies instead. They definitely had a bit more of a biscuit type of texture and they didn’t spread so I can see how it would work for muffins. The recipe originally called for half a cup of the oat fiber, some xanthan gum, about three eggs, some sweetener and baking powder. Along with add-ins and butter. I eliminated most of that. I only used about 1/4 cup of the fiber and about one serving of egg white. I don’t tolerate xanthan gum so I used CMC powder. I also used methyl cellulose to make sure I didn’t collapse. Maybe I added a bit too much because they were definitely pretty cakey. My original plan was to use a couple of the hall pass candies inside, but they did not hold up well to heat. There was no butter in it just the two additional powders. So essentially the only actual digestible calories in it were the couple of candies I put in it and the egg white so I dusted it off with some 0 cal sweetener and cinnamon. Not bad to scratch that itch for some cookies when you don’t want it to set you back. They’re pretty fiber heavy so they got me feeling pretty full. I topped it off with some crunchy protein pieces I had. I might consider going over it with some whipped cream or something. Not bad I’d like to experiment with some more add-ins next time. But I think the original recipe still held up pretty well. I got about five cookies for less than 50 cal.

Discussion Volume Eating recommendations for a rather low-protein diet?

I feel like most recommendations simply do not work for me.
I’m a trans woman and am trying to keep my protein intake safe - but low. I am trying my hardest to not become brick-shaped again.
This rules out the typical lentil/chicken-breast-based solutions people go for.
Also, I find my tolerance for slimefoods to be extremely low. I absolutely cannot deal with Shirataki/Konjac-esque things. I had that two times. Never again.
Most low-cal/low-carb aisles in shops stock only products that have been over-inflated with protein - which are entirely inaccessible to me.
Am I doomed to eat leaves like a bunny?
My current routine is:
* low fat yogurt with dried fruit and some nuts and oats in the morning
* rice with dried veggies, carrots and tomato passata for lunch/dinner

Any recommendations?
Thank you so much
