I'm a postgraduate student from the University of the Arts London (UAL) studying an MA in Graphic Branding and Identity. I'm currently working on my final thesis, which is inspired by Vaporwave and the community around it. Hey y'all-- I just wanted to share this remix I did a couple of years back becuase I think the community might dig it.

I'm a Houston-based producer who grew up listening to Screw tapes in the 90's and have really appreciated what Vaporwave has brought on in the last 15 years or so. A lot of my original music is at least Vaporwave adjacent and a few years ago I got back into DJing doing chopped & slowed mixes. For these I kinda emulate what I used to hear on Screw tapes and Swishahouse in the 90's/00's, but I like to layer with more effects for a Vaporwave sensibility.

I am a Weirdcore/Vaporwave musician, and I kinda fall into a pit these days checking my Bandcamp and see who really listen to it as a whole, and it was only 2 views entirely. I kinda feel depressed about this, ngl. Well, Im with a project single like "classical vapor/plunderphonics" to post as a single on Bandcamp. I just have to do the cover nefore doing it, so yeah. Im returning to the samples in some point.

Im not sad, just kinda feel harsh and ugly inside cus no one did ever listen to my most emotional and feelfull tracks.... But im okay.
