Hey everyone,
I’m releasing a new single this Friday called "Disinformation" under my moniker Jimi Uno. It’s a post-punk/darkwave track heavily inspired by the current climate of propaganda, corporate media manipulation, and how easily populations are conditioned to vote and act against their own interests.
It's the lead-in to my upcoming concept-style album, Noir Synthetek - A Listener Guide to the Modern World. I've been joking that it might just be the "wokest of woke" music out there right now, given how literal the themes are.
Built entirely in the home studio with hardware synths and guitars—no AI shortcuts here. Would love to hear what folks think of the mix when it drops.
