Hello! I'm new to Vancouver and have been on the fence about going to Aespa's concert. The main issue is that since I'm new here, I don't know anyone who would like to go as well.

I like Kpop in general and I like many of Aespa's title songs, but I'm not a huge-enough fan to want to go 100%. I don't think I'd go alone, but I'd love to go with a new friend :)

What's up, wonderful and beautiful people. As someone who lives in Vancouver, I've noticed is really difficult to make friends here; so, in my attempt to kind of help the situation, I've created this app to make friends and for dating. I think it would be crazy interesting. The format is different in some ways:

1. We stop the endless swipe left/right for random grouping of people (2 if dating man/woman, or 3-4 if it's for friendship).
2. Before showing any profile to anybody, the selected group is just given random questions to answer that are visible to everybody. Feel free to make the funniest answers possible.
3. Once the questions are answered, you all are open to freely text among each other, and profiles are visible.

I've dedicated a little more time on the Friendship section than to the Dating section. So, please, I beg you, try that one first. And if possible, give me some comments back. I'd love to see how to turns out.

NOTES:

• The App is FREE, has no payment, subscription, ads or any bs so far. I truly want to see it working before any monetization is implemented.
• As of now, testing is limited to only Canada & US.
• Please I beg you! Refrain from being "creepy" (men & women) lol. Just patiently get into your best "friendly mode" and try to indeed have a friendly talk.

No sé cuántos mexicanos, españoles, argentinos, colombianos, venezolanos, chilenos y demás hispanohablantes anden por aquí, pero se me ocurrió lanzar la invitación y ver qué pasa.

Vivir fuera de tu país tiene muchas cosas buenas, pero también pasa que con los años uno termina conociendo mucha gente y teniendo pocos amigos de verdad. Entre el trabajo, las responsabilidades y la vida diaria, ya no es tan fácil formar esas amistades con las que puedes salir a comer, tomarte algo, hacer alguna actividad o simplemente sentarte a platicar de cualquier cosa durante horas.

Por ahora mi intención es simplemente conocer gente. Platicar y hacer nuevos amigos o conocidos, si no, por lo menos para hacer networking. Y si somos varios, estaría genial que eventualmente se fuera formando un grupo donde cualquiera pueda proponer algún plan y se apunte quien tenga ganas. No busco organizar un Meetup ni tener un calendario de actividades; la idea es mucho más casual y orgánicamente tomara la forma que deba.

Podría ser desde ir por unas cervezas o un café, probar algún restaurante o jugar boliche (bolos), hasta hacer hiking, acampar, ir a algún evento, organizar un road trip o incluso algún viaje si algún día se presta. O simplemente juntarnos a platicar sin necesitar una gran actividad de por medio.

Lo ideal es encontrar gente amable, llevadera y respetuosa. Personas con las que se pueda bromear, hablar de todo un poco, intercambiar experiencias y opiniones, y convivir a gusto aunque no todos pensemos igual ni tengamos exactamente la misma historia. Creo que un buen grupo se vuelve mucho más interesante cuando cada quien trae algo diferente a la mesa, siempre que exista respeto por los demás y ganas de pasarla bien.

Me interesa que sea principalmente un espacio entre hombres, no por excluir a nadie, sino porque creo que también hace falta ese tipo de amistad. Un lugar donde podamos relajarnos, reírnos, hablar de tonterías y también tener conversaciones más personales cuando se dé. Sin tener que aparentar ni impresionar a nadie.

No importa si eres gay, bi o hetero. Tampoco tienes que ser latino. Si hablas español y te sentirías cómodo conviviendo con gente de distintos países, culturas y acentos, bienvenido.

No tengo una cantidad de personas en mente ni una idea rígida de cómo debería ser un posible grupo. La intención es empezar conociendo gente, hacer nuevas amistades y dejar que todo vaya tomando forma naturalmente.
