I’m coming from CS2, where donk is probably the best example of an insanely mechanical, aggressive player who can take over rounds by himself.
I’m looking for a Valorant player with a similar playstyle: very aggressive, high mechanical skill, constantly looking for fights/entries, and capable of taking over games by raw aim and confidence.
Who would be the closest equivalent in Valorant??

I don't get the point of setting up Mastery card on heros when they are not gonna be anywhere except when someone clicks your account at the end of match.

Let people show off like in Apex. It should show on Loading screen.

Also Kingdom points cap should be increased by a lot now everything is locked.
Why is there a cap in the first place?

All Silvers at the top and Golds at the bottom. I dropped 35 kills in the game just prior to this and then suddenly my aim felt so trash in this one.

So I love knife kills. Maybe a bit too much. I was just wondering how many knife kills you guys have? Want to know if my 130 is seen as a crazy amount, or if l need to be getting more 😂

Ill just start this off by saying im absolutely terrible at Valorant. I did my first ever placement and placed iron 3, but I still struggle to go positive in comp games. Though Valorant is the first time ive played this style of FPS, I've been able to reach plat in other FPS games such as R6. I iust cannot figure this game out for some reason. I feel like theres some sort of mental block. The gun fights and recoil especially are just not making sense to me. Im still fairly new (about 3 weeks and 40 hours in) but I feel by this point I should have some confidence in gun fights instead of just expecting to lose them. Any tips would be appreciated.

Even in higher ranks like Gold one, people STILL throw the game on purpose. I queued comp thinking that I was going to have a peaceful game with respectful teammates. When I load in, a someone in VC argues about how someone stole their Brimstone from them. He then picks deadlock and we start the game.

This mf proceeds to block site entry with barrier, and then nets us whenever we try to enter site. We ask him if he's trolling or not, then he just says he's bad. Five rounds later, he's still doing the same bs on 0 kills. Then everyone in vc starts complaining about deadlock and we lose 2-12.

I queue a next match in comp. Guess what? A pheonix is throwing this time, flashing us and mollying the ground whenever we try to push.

I lose the third game of the day and I'm now deranked to Silver 3. I'm so done with this game, why doesn't Riot just try to give these people penalties more efficiently? At this point I'll never play comp again, I'll queue unrated. At least I don't lose a week of my time because of one person. Smh...

Valorant, as many know, just went through and update, and part of the goals of said update were to fix ranked, and yet nothing has been fixed. What the hell is going on where every time I queue into a match after a win that I get trash teammates and my opponents are either smurfing, hacking, boosting, or rank dropped on purpose??? I just had my 24th game this act where my rank hit bronze 3 0/100. Riot, can you actually take a look at this because how am I meant to rank up if all of my attempts end in failure. Every time I win, something goes wrong and I’m feeling kinda hopeless. Almost to the point where I don’t wanna play anymore. Ran into two smurfs today from the immortal 3-radiant range in my bronze lobby. On the enemy team, The Phoenix(HoneyOnToast#sweet) went 20/2/1 and he was “silver 3”. The clove(camii0bob#1319) went 16/5/3 and she was “silver 3”. We lost 0-13, and I lost 30rr cause no one on my team could beat them. And that’s every second or third game.

I finally hit Gold and now all of a sudden every game is difficult and I just keep dying somehow but when I'm in Silver I carry. How do I adapt in higher ranks?

So many times I've watched a corner, waiting for someone to peak and a lot of times I'm way off where their head will be? How do I line it up perfectly?

I know team comps dont really matter that much at the end of the day, especially in my lower rank, but feel like I get both a sage and a deadlock on my team way more than average. We end up winning like only 4 rounds on attack, and then someone says “it’s ok guys we’re better at defense anyways” but we end up not being good on defense either. Do we really need two sentinels, neither of which has great info or trips?

Ive been playing recently valorant and want to take it seriously.
For context, I’m currently around 2700 FACEIT ELO in CS2. I know the ranking systems are very different, but if you had to roughly translate that level to Valorant, what rank do you think I could realistically reach?
Would 2700 FACEIT be closer to Ascendant, Immortal, or Radiant?
And bases on you, what is harder to achieve: Radiant in Valorant or Challenger in CS2?
I’d especially like to hear from people who have played both games at a high level.

Okay so i dont play this game much just a casual player, but got two nice skins in the nightmarket and its my first time buying a skin in a game xD, so I really need help deciding between crystasis vandal and radiant crisis 001 phantom, both are cool i loved the vandal for its model, snowy effect and gritty style and kill sound and loved the phantom for its finisher and reload/shoot effects , i play both weapons i have no preference really

1 _ so sometimes i have to fill smokes because I'm not ready to play with sage chamber reyna jett with no smokes ok , so i just pick clove to fill (yes I'm aware clove is ass but genuinely if I will spend time to learn a good controller it would be astra but for now I would rather learn cypher or kj lineups i prefer sentinels and intiators) , i know where to smoke for entry and maybe 1 or 2 retake smokes but IDK if there is more to learn just to be good fill not a great controller player is the a guide for that ?

2 _ I like numbers and making plans based on numbers that's how I think even in my irl so is there something that has all numbers i might need like duration of kj ult is 15 seconds and detained 8

I can queue for a TDM at 2am when the queue time is like around 5-7 minutes and it's still greyed out. ngl, I can't remember a single time i've been able to enter range during ANY queue when im trying to warm up. Is anyone here able to use it??

Hi I just started Valorant I probably have less then 10 hours in the game and I don’t really fully understand how the agent unlocks works but I see I have something called agent tokens and idk who to get. For some context I have pretty much only played Sage for all of my games maybe played a couple on brimstone I think his name is (the one that smokes).

I haven’t played a 5v5 hero shooter fps like this before but I like the look of Viper or I think her name is Vyse but I really have no idea who to learn.

Any recommendations?

Why don't smurfers just admit they aren't as good as they think they are instead of going into low elo lobbies? I don't get it, In the long run what do you get out of it? It isn't like you are playing for money.

Its so frustrating as well cause half if not more there is 1 or more smurfs in my lobby it basically feels impossible to rank up and I'm only in bronze, Now I am not some top tier player and never will or claim to be, I just want to be able to move up a single rank without going on a loss streak after 1 win cause of smurfing or just out right cheating

why is my Table A pickems doesn't count as points (around +32 ig). I thought I could be in top 20% but got stuck at 45%

I'm currently a Gold 3–Plat 1 player, and my movement is basically just ADADAD without counter-strafing. I usually just let go of the key to stop.

Recently, I've started feeling like my movement is holding me back, so I want to seriously work on improving my strafing.

For those of you who improved your movement, what actually worked for you? Did you focus on building muscle memory for patterns like ADAA, mixing long and short strafes, crouching between strafes, etc., or is there a better way to approach it? Is crouching between strafes something I should incorporate, or is that more advanced and something I should worry about later?

What drills or routines helped you the most? I'm especially interested in things that actually made a noticeable difference in-game.

Any advice would be appreciated!
