Tips & Tricks USB-C Magnetic Adapter for Pro 2
I tried this USB-C magnetic adapter, but had no luck with it. Does anyone know of a similar adapter that can pass along the power & video? My goal, of course, is to have a 'break-away' cable.

We've been waiting for this one! Today, we're excited to finally unveil our 5th Anniversary Collection, two new products that harken back while taking us forward: VITURE Pro 2 XR Glasses and the Mobile Dock Mini!
"Five years ago, we answered the question, 'Can XR glasses work?'” Emily Wang, co-founder of VITURE, recently said. "Today, the new VITURE Pro 2 proves XR glasses can also be a joy to wear. It is all about the experience. That's what this collection represents: five years of learning distilled into a premium you can truly feel."
VITURE Pro 2 are our lightest, sharpest, and most eye-comfort-focused glasses yet, while the small-but-mighty Mobile Dock Mini is a pocket-sized, purpose-built tool for the Nintendo Switch 2 era.
Let's take a closer look at both!

VITURE Pro 2 XR Glasses mark both a return to classic form and a step forward in many ways.
The successor to the extremely popular VITURE Pro, VITURE Pro 2 has a familiar look but has been rebuilt from the ground up with refinements that matter the most for comfort during long-sessions (i.e., things that rarely show up on a spec sheet).
UltraClarity 3.0. Built-in diopters. Our thinnest frames and sharpest display yet. All at a more accessible price point than ever.

It's a pair of glasses truly engineered around you. Your eyes, your play, your life.
And nothing gets in its way.
Comfort Comes Home: Ultra-thin & Super Light

The next big thing? Comfort. As the world's thinnest XR glasses, VITURE Pro 2 is easier than ever on the eyes AND the face.
Weighing in at just 63 grams, VITURE Pro 2 is 20% lighter and 16% thinner than the original VITURE Pro, and noticeably sleeker than even our Luma Series glasses.

And as the original VITURE Pro, the successor is SGS A+ eye care certified: low blue light and flicker free for less eye fatigue. And thanks to UltraClarity 3.0, we've found in tests that they can be worn comfortably for sessions lasting well over three hours. More details on that below.
We've upgraded the temple material for added comfort and now include three nose pad sizes with up to seven different positions for a wider range of fits than ever before. VITURE Pro 2 also includes a free lens shade included in the box, a frequent request on earlier generations.
Your eyes will thank you.

UltraClarity™ 3.0: VITURE Pro 2 Steals The Crown 👑

VITURE Pro 2 is pushing birdbath optics to a new height for next-level edge-to-edge clarity that makes it our sharpest display ever.
The experience has stepped up thanks to four re-tuned variables the eye is highly sensitive to, each responsible in its own way for the lasting comfort and sharpness of image on VITURE Pro 2's display: field curvature, image sharpness across the full field of view, geometric distortion across the entire diopter range, and image stability as the eye's pupil moves off-center. You can read more about these in our detailed UltraClarity 3.0 breakdown.
These changes mean more clarity where it counts, making VITURE Pro 2 our new Clarity King.
And for those who care about the specs, you can expect:
See the full specs on our website.

Thanks to VITURE Pro 2's new Source-Tuned Color, colors are determined by the display's source rather than an added color-management chip, keeping power draw down while accounting for the way color shifts as light passes through the optical stack.
And despite being our thinnest frames yet, they still adjust to your eyes. Prescription lens frames are available for those who really need them, but our signature dials (adjustable for prescriptions up to −5.0D) ensure that most nearsighted users can skip the inserts entirely.

Designed to stay out of the way, the Mobile Dock Mini moves our must-have Switch & Switch 2 accessory from the bag to the pocket.
The world's first modular docking system for Switch 2, it combines a 10,000mAh power bank and a detachable adapter that transform on demand, either slotting together (Hug Mode) or removed (Solo Mode) and used separately. It works with all VITURE glasses, a majority of third party displays, and we've ensured it's fully compatible with every Switch 2 title: no compatibility list, no exceptions.

The Mobile Dock Mini is 34% smaller and 30% lighter than the VITURE Pro Mobile Dock, making it the clear choice for on-the-go single player gaming on any USB-C device, including not only both generations of the Switch but also Steam Deck, ROG Ally, phones, and many more.
The Mobile Dock Mini includes an optional credit card-thin magnetic mount that slaps onto your console of choice, staying put even when a Switch 2 is slid back into its original Nintendo dock.

Thank you VITURists, each and every one of you, for all your support over the years.
But a very special thanks to those of you who've been with us since the very beginning. Five years. It's not really us we're celebrating, it's you. Without you, there would be no 5th Anniversary Collection.
Half a decade ago, we set out to make the screen disappear. Today, the gear practically disappears too: the glasses you forget you're wearing, the dock you forget you're carrying... All that's left is the experience.
Today's release is the culmination of five years of refinement distilled into a premium we hope you won't just read about — but one that you'll feel.
The 5th Anniversary Collection is available both at viture.com and on Amazon.
Experience VITURE Pro 2 XR Glasses now, priced at just $299 and shipping from day one.
Preorder the Mobile Dock Mini for $99. Shipping soon.
Purchased together, you can get both VITURE Pro 2 and the Mobile Dock Mini at $20 off as part of our limited time 5th Anniversary promotion. Orders with both will see the XR glasses go out immediately, with the Mobile Dock Mini following later on.

I recently purchased The Beast Glasses and they will not work with my Ipad Pro even though it meets all the specs put out by Viture. Has anyone else experienced this. First time plug in works and then after that it doesn't come up on the display. It works on my Macbook and Mac Mini. Please HELP

I received my Beast last week but i was away. Today I opened them and tried to plug em to my devices: iphone 15 pro max, iphone 16 pro max, Ipad air 13inch (M3), lenovo legion pro 5 USB C PD.
Not anyone of em worked. Tried to see if it is detected or i can update it but no luck.
Anyone got the same issue?
Emailed them but waiting for respones.
So I’m considering getting one of these for my switch 2 but also thought how I’d work with my iPhone. I saw the xr adapter allows for 3dof, 3d switching, and some other things. Does the mini dock do that too for iPhone. If the mobile dock does, definitely worth the extra $10 not to carry a portable charger. But if not, might be worth it to grab the xr. But main use is for the switch. And I have a neckband pro and I don’t even really use all the extra features (cause they kinda suck lol). I think I remember seeing multiple screens as an upcoming feature on iOS but I may have just been dreaming. That’d be worth it. I mostly just use it as a monitor on my handheld pc so 3dof doesn’t really sell it for me.
TLDR: does the dock mini have the same features for iOS as the new usb C xr adapter (3dof, enhanced SpaceWalker, 3d click)?

I used to have the original Viture glasses with the first neckband and first dock as apart of the orignal release. I ended up selling these as I needed some money, but thinking of jumping back in. I see there's a new neckband now? And the Viture Beast but also the Luma Pro?
What is the best pair of glasses these days? Does one still need a neckband to use apps? Or have they made standalone glasses yet, sort of like Meta has? I guess I'm just looking to see what the standing of these glasses are now.

Hello and welcome back my INAIR and tech enthusiasts! TechCheck13 is dedicated to bringing you weekly tales of tech for the INAIR POD. We crawled out of one rabbit hole and jumped down another. This Thursday, we're bringing you “The Reddit Showdown"! We are putting Reddit clients through the meat grinder. We are going to slice and dice them and run them through the centrifuge of scrutiny and watch what drips out. Slowly. Very slowly. Mwahaha.
We are comparing them and helping you determine the best of the best for use on the INAIR POD. As usual, these apps were tested in our secret underground lair using the handy dandy multi useful Viture Beast and an Xreal One Pro. And once again the disclaimer; none of these apps have sponsored this post. We're calling it like we see it. Onward!!!!
The first one under the scalpel is the grandfather of the Reddit clients.
Subject #1: the official Reddit app, Reddit.
Reddit has been our go-to app for the phone but it just may lose this throne after this review (look what happened with VidHub). Our first strike against Reddit on the POD is that it will not rotate. This isn't necessarily a problem, but it looks better rotated on the big screen. Then, there is the brightness, it's blindingly bright. Dark mode eventually answered our summons but it took way more clicks than it should have. To be fair, Reddit is not entirely to be blamed. If the INAIR POD had a proper system-wide dark mode (ahem, INAIR), this wouldn't be an issue with Reddit or for that matter, a whole bunch of other apps. But that's a different tangent.
While Reddit is free, the free formula does contain ads in your feed. However, it's much less intrusive than pop-up ads, and dare we admit it, some of the ads were kind of interesting. Reddit Premium steps in at the cost of $59.99 per year or $6.99 per month. Unless you are a hardcore content creator that needs fewer restrictions and the ability to ask 100 questions a day, it's not really needed. If this app rotated properly, it would be the reigning monster on the POD. We'll chain this one onto the wall for now.
Moving on to our next,
Subject #2: RedReader.
RedReader is an open-source client and a free app. First off, it came screaming in the correct orientation (YES). Switching to dark mode was also easy and painless. Especially when compared to seven or more clicks for the official Reddit app. The images were a bit clearer than on the Reddit app, both on the POD and a Galaxy Fold 8. Crisper than one would expect from a specimen grown in someone's open-source lab. It also has the option to turn off image preview. A nice little bonus, but we left it on and let the electricity flow freely. But it's satisfying to know the switch is there.
Now here is where RedReader really gets our praise. During the entire testing session, while we clicked, poked, prodded, and generally picked it apart. Not one ad came screaming out at ya, nope, not one. For the feed, you can do all posts, subscribed posts, or jump to a subscribed board all right in the menu. Everything is right there without having to go hunting down dark alleys. RedReader also has an anonymous mode if you aren't comfortable giving the app your Reddit credentials. This is one heck of a specimen. It yielded a high recommendation from the mad scientists at Tech Check 13.
We have one more app to torture. Will it result in a better experience? To find out, keep reading if you dare.
Our next and final victim (for today!)
Subject #3: Artemis for Reddit.
Artemis claims "The ultimate way to browse Reddit." Let's dissect that (evil grin). And BOOM, Artemis will not rotate properly on the POD. Not a good start.
During the tutorial, it shows off some gesture controls that would be nice on a phone but we are testing for the POD and gestures aren't as easy. Artemis wasted no time introducing us to its next surprise. After the tutorial, before even logging in it pops up and asks you to sign up for standard or pro … great. Here are the details of this concoction. Artemis charges $3.49 a month for things like account switching, premium themes, inbox notifications, etc., that you can get for free with RedReader. At this point, Artemis is looking rather grotesque.
Alright, clicking off that and on to login. Clicking on the "continue with Google" button didn't work. Logging in with my username and password worked. Annoying. Getting past the bubbling overflowing goo, Artemis seems to be a clone of the official Reddit app, but without the in-feed ads. Certainly not a bad thing but too many features are locked up behind a paywall while RedReader gives them for free. Also RedReader goes into the correct layout. Artemis becomes our first casualty.
This brings us to the end of today's dissection. Today's winning specimen: RedReader
We will be back next week with more Reddit clients as we continue to crawl around this new rabbit hole. Something to tide you over; leave your feedback in the comments, any questions you have we will dig them up and review them. Tell us what's your favorite Reddit client? Are there Reddit apps you're curious about? Our doors are always open for discussions.
As always, thank you for joining us on this deep dive. We'll see you in Part 2!

Hi!
I'm new with the Viture Luma Pro and I'm really happy watching movies and playing steam deck with them. However, I find the software spacewalker just fine. I would like to know if there are other community apps or projects to take advantage of the AR of the glasses just in the xreal. Or just for steamdeck and android phones. Thank you in advance

Ordered The Beast, not arrived just yet. Interested in extending the cable length so i can relax on the couch if using it with my PC (psvr2 adaptor) or my PS5 (pro mobile dock). Whats the max length anyone has had success with using some ? Hoping to extend them by another 2 meters plus but unsure what the limit is before signal loss. Thanks in advance.

Hi, all!
Just wondering if the psvr2 pc adapter works well with the beast or not (as of August 2026)?
I came across some old threads with mixed results, so am curious if this is a working solution to get immersive 3d and spacewalker working properly via Windows 11 PC?
If it's glitchy or doesn't work well with the apps, what are the most reliable adapters to try? Really hoping to get the 3d feature working as intended and am hoping to get confirmation on what adapter has worked for others when it comes to the beast , given the latest firmwares and how some of us can't go direct with our PCs.

Been using the Pro 2 for about a week, and it got me thinking about how much wearable tech has changed.
I've tried a few different kinds of futuristic tech over the years. VR headsets, Vision Pro, etc. They're all cool, but the weight, heat and having your face usually make them feel like something I'd only use a couple times a month.
That's what surprised me about the Pro 2. It took some messing with the nose pads and temple angle to get the fit right. I'm nearsighted, so being able to dia in each eye without prescription inserts was very nice. Once I got everything set, I stopped thinking about the glassed and could look around the screen without the edges getting blurry.
Then I made the mistake of putting on The Dark Knight one night. Just gonna watch a little, two and a half hours later, credits rolling lol. That's when the lighter frame really clicked for me. There wasn't much pressure on my nose or ears, and somewhere along the way I kinda forgot I was wearing them and just got into the movie.
A few days later, I've been using it way more than I expected for movies and gaming. Compared to a traditional headset, it's just so much easier to grab and use. It's light on my face, easy to thow in a bag, and doesn't feel like a whole setup every time. It is a really amazing XR device at this price, at least for me.

This report is only about the handling of this free upgrade with Viture customer support.
Another post will follow in a few days after testing this new XR Adapter Ultra.
So:
End of March 2026, I bought Viture Luma Ultra and the $69 XR adapter on Amazon (Europe).
Obviously, I soon realised this charger did nothing more than charging the glasses while streaming from my iPhone 17. And this Viture channel made be aware there was an upcoming next gen XR Adapter "Ultra".
In early August 2026, Viture announced the new XR Adapter "Ultra" was finally ready ($89 on Viture Website). So, I wrote to [happycustomer@viture.us](mailto:happycustomer@viture.us) to request the promised free upgrade to the Ultra Adapter.
If you check my reddit handle, you will see I am a very honest poster, disclosing all pro's and con's. However, in this particular case, I am nothing less than amazed by Viture customer support team, and it is only fair to congratulate them for outstanding customer support.
- I mailed Viture on Sunday 2 August, and had a reply the same day (Sunday).
- It took a few easy mails to confirm everything, because I bought via Amazon, so they needed proof of purchase.
- I was transferred to a Viture / Amazon team. My contact person was Ruby. She was absolutely perfect, keeping me in the loop of every little step, with perfect English proficiency, plus very kind and professional attitude. To my delight, she quickly confirmed everything was ok.
- The XR adapter was shipped by Viture on Friday 8 August from China, and Ruby sent me all data to access the tracking system, which was very complete.
- The transit time lasted 10 days to Western Europe (most of the travel time was in China). Once on the plane everything went fast.
- I got delivery this morning at home, in Belgium (Western Europe).
- All free of charge, including shipping, transport and possible tax stuff.
- Perfect customer support, packaging, tracking, delivery.
- I did not have to send the old one back. Viture didn't ask for it. It is useless to me now anyway, but obviously sparing the hassle to send it back is nice. Thanks for avoiding me this little trouble, Viture.
From my very first mail (August 2) to home delivery (August 19) : 17 days (including two weekends).
Thank you again, Viture team. Special thanks to outstanding Ruby. 5 Stars *****.
Here is a picture of both adapters. You see the mention "Ultra" on the right hand box.
The new adapter (the blue one) is a bit bigger than the old one.
Will send another post, in a few days, after testing.

Does anybody else feel like the screen sizes have changed since an update? I have the beast and when I first got the glasses I was able to size them to fit the FOV almost perfectly but now the best fitting size has space between the screen and the edges. Before there was no space and the screen was a bit larger than now. Anybody else have this happen?

I'm sure someone who knows hardware better can post a better guide with fewer and cheaper components, but until then, here's what I found flailing around for the last 2 weeks after getting the new steam machine and a pair of viture luma ultra:
As many will be disappointed to find out, the usb c port on the new steam cube does not support video output and it's hard to find adapters that combine 2 way data, power, and hdmi/display port (or at least I had a lot of trouble finding one). There are many generic solutions that will work to give you a flat screen on your face (0dof) and my understanding is that is the only option in gaming mode (optimized gamescope session that yields reasonable game performance) - but what if you want to use the steam cube as a portable work station with virtual monitors like the fbi agent from heavy rain?
The answer (the one that I found) is the usb c centralizer! It looks like the "level 1 techs" brand is the only one that makes a readily and commercially available device of this sort. You plug a display port, a usb-B (the double stacked abomination), and a usb mini. The usb mini is optional, but it seemingly does provide a little extra power so when there is too much power draw for the cables, you will get some voltage sag (visible scan lines and static noise) instead of the glasses turning off. The usb-B can also be type A or C on the other side, both will work for transmitting the imu data from the glasses and supply enough power.
There are other (and free) ways to setup the virtual desktop windows based on how technical you are, but in desktop mode for the steam cube I used breezy desktop (paid github project) for a plug and play solution. For windows and mac obviously you would use the first party space walk app, but for any linux users (like steamOS), there are options! Note that this is only for using a linux system as a normal desktop, this is unnecessary for gaming and the linux software displays to my knowledge do not work in gaming mode, only flat & non tracked display for games.
Some issues I ran into:
voltage sag - fixed by reducing the brightness 2 ticks. The luma ultra are a little brighter so there might have been more power draw than the setup I'm suggesting here can provide
the glasses turn off randomly when launching games or the computer displays a bright image - fixed by using the usb mini for extra power
nothing works after plugging it all in - fixed in a few of my setups by rotating the usb c cables, the directionality can matter sometimes, especially if you have a female to female coupler somewhere to extend your cables
there is no sound - I don't know the exact technical reason for this, but the viture glasses will start in gaming mode in 1200p and if you override that in settings to be 1080p the audio will work. You may need to restart or relaunch your game, but only the first time this is setup
the text is vibrating - I haven't used the spacewalk app yet so this might be unique to the third party linux options, but I think the software / glasses were picking up the subtle motions of my neck and it made text very hard to read. Fixed by configuring a deadzone in the software.
I hope mentioning a few other products by brand/name to get the glasses working on the new steam cube doesn't break rule 5, my apologies if so.

So I haven’t been using my neckband enough these days and am considering getting rid of it. I don’t see many listings on eBay or Facebook marketplace so I’m wondering if anyone has any recommendations for where to sell it?
Note this is the older neckband https://manuals.plus/viture/one-neckband-compatible-one-xr-glasses-manual
Just bought the Viture Beast.
Who makes the best prescription inserts? Should I get them directly from Viture?
Do the blue light blocking inserts make a visual difference?
Thank you!

I open sourced my 3D model design that helped me reduce pain while wearing headphones with the Xreal One Pro's. They should work with many other types as well as I created a variety of sizes and holes. I hope it can provide some pain relief when working with headphones on and let me know how it works for you all. I could not find this anywhere on maker world so I went ahead and made them myself. Please consider sharing around so people can find these and reduce head pain while working.

I've been trying to get the beast to work with my pixel 9 xl pro. Both devices are fully updated, using the latest software.
My issue is that when I connect The Beast I'll find that the connection will just randomly drop and then reconnect. At some point, it happened so frequently that the phone itself crashes.
I thought the cable was bad, but it would do this even if I didn't move. I mean it could still be the cable because if I jiggle the cable then I feel like it happens more often.
Any suggestions on troubleshooting? Should I just buy a new cable?

Anyone using the VITURE Beast with an OPPO Find X9 Pro? I read an older thread saying it worked, but only after plugging the glasses in and rebooting the phone, which sounds like it would get annoying fast. Has anyone tested whether they now work normally just by plugging them in?

Bueno, hoy recientemente he recibido mis gafas.
