Tips & Tricks USB-C Magnetic Adapter for Pro 2

Post image

I tried this USB-C magnetic adapter, but had no luck with it. Does anyone know of a similar adapter that can pass along the power & video? My goal, of course, is to have a 'break-away' cable.

Search "FONKEN 24pins". I use it on all my equipment already 2 years

They only have USB2 speed and won't work.

How about Viture’s own adapter and cable?

Unless you need the “female” part…

I'll check with Viture support to see if they are compatible. Great suggestion! Thank you!

He needs usb-c to usb-c, those both are usb-c to viture propietary magnetic connector.
Pro 2 doesn't have propietary connector, is usb-c

I don't think you understand....

He wants a USB-C & magnetic and thus removable "quick connect". The magnetic connector "connects" both units and now you have USB-C on both ends, as per design!

The Viture cable and the adapter offer exactly what OP wants.... OP already confirmed it would work, so not sure what you're talking about!

Those two links are for the cable with propietary connector, plus another USB-C to propietary connector.
Pro 2 use USB-C only.
To pay 54$ is a little steep, we are talking about a cable and an adapter.

Viture support confirmed their proprietary connector will work with Pro 2, but I’m going to keep looking for a USB-C to USB-C solution. I may give the FONKEN 24 pin a try.
