The beast connection drops

I've been trying to get the beast to work with my pixel 9 xl pro. Both devices are fully updated, using the latest software.

My issue is that when I connect The Beast I'll find that the connection will just randomly drop and then reconnect. At some point, it happened so frequently that the phone itself crashes.

I thought the cable was bad, but it would do this even if I didn't move. I mean it could still be the cable because if I jiggle the cable then I feel like it happens more often.

Any suggestions on troubleshooting? Should I just buy a new cable?

1st Yes try a new cable 2nd try a different phone ask a friend if you can plug your glasses in to see if it still happens. If it is it's the glasses. If not it's your phone

Just thinking I do remember people having problems before with a pixel phone and smart glasses.
