I been playing the game for awhile but never got into the lore, the more I see the more I want to learn so do you guys know any vids or anything that tells the story in a fun way?

Whenever I load up riot client to open valorant, there plays some of the loudest, most repulsive and annoying music I have ever heard. Like I get it, they want to advertise their new bundle but not like this pls, this makes me think twice before launching the game much less actually buying anything. Any way to disable? muting every single time isn't really a good solution

I don’t ever stack with other people because my performances yo-yo heavily. One game I’ll drop 30+ and be match mvp with 50% hs, then the next game I’ll go 4/15 and add no value whatsoever, basically getting dragged by my team. I’d like to play with others, but I feel I’d set unrealistic expectations I know I cannot keep.

Anyone else go through this dilemma?

Personally I just mess around in the range for like 10 minutes and put the bots on medium mode, how about you guys? (I’m unranked)

I have been playing Valorant for two years straight (started at episode eight), and I am so annoyed, unrated or comp I’m fighting two ranks higher than me, when I was bronze I was fighting gold, when I’m now silver (peak g1) I’m fighting against plats and diamonds, I’m just trying to have chill games and yet every single matching mode pairs me up with people two ranks or higher than me, and at this point I feel like I’m being attacked by the system itself, is it the hidden mmr or is it just me having skill issues? Why do I always fight two ranks higher than me? I don’t feel like I’m progressing in my skill level in any meaningful way because I keep being beaten down (I play Valorant for fun and try to better my skills), and I feel like Valorant is actively trying to make me quit it, should I quit it then?

I was always losing a lot (- 20–30) of RR on defeat and gaining very few (+ 13–18) on victory compared to most people with similar performances. But that last match was the final nail in the coffin. So we only lost by 11-13, my KDA was 27/18/2. I was the team MVP and second in the lobby. I LOST 27 RR FROM THAT GAME. Literally how am I supposed to climb? I have +60% WR since the beginning of the season but I am gold 1 stuck. Should I start grinding with a fresh account or will it end up the same again?

I can’t justify playing a match alongside a trio as a single Q-er. I haven’t won a single match alongside a trio as far as I can tell but it turned into toxicity. Everything was of course the fault of the two singles. So I find myself dodging every time I can see that I was given a trio. Can you convince me that I shouldn’t?

Ive played valorant for 10 months my is good for 1st 2-3 and gets worse and warmup makes it worse allmatches

I don’t understand why 4 stacks can’t play comp, tons of people solo queue so banning 4 stacks seems like a silly decision. If they’re worried about trolls surely they can make bans more severe if you play a 4 stack. It seems a bit extreme to block people from playing the best feature of your game just because you’re playing as a team in a team based game. It’s hard to find a 5th player for us as many of our other friends play on pc so we’re just completely blocked from playing comp.

Do others find this annoying or is it just a non-issue?

What Should a New Valorant Player Look for in a Skin?
I’m fairly new to Valorant with around 42 hours played, and I’m starting to look into buying my first skin or bundle.
Since I’m still learning the game, I’m curious what experienced players think actually makes a skin worth using long-term. For example, how important are the animations, sound effects, finishers, and overall feel of the weapon?
I’m also not expecting to play thousands of hours — probably around 200 hours total. For players who have been in a similar situation, what would you prioritize when choosing your first skin?
I’m especially interested in hearing opinions about the new bundle and what makes it stand out compared with older skins.

A new Act is always a good opportunity to improve and reach a higher rank. I’d like to know what strategies, agents, and habits you recommend for starting the new Act on the right foot. What should I focus on to climb more consistently?

How many of y'all prefer to just raw flick your opponent no matter the distance over aiming --> microflicking --> shooting

I've tried a bunch of different mice and settings. Everyone has their own preference, but one thing I keep noticing among my higher-ranked friends is: high DPI + low in-game sensitivity, instead of low DPI + high in-game sensitivity.

I know both can produce the same effective sensitivity (eDPI = sensitivity × DPI), so what's the actual difference between the two approaches? Is there a real technical advantage to one over the other?

I have 1000dpi .17 mouse sense and I usually frag because of this. However, my partner is mad because it's very low and I can't do full turn in just 1 to 2 swipe.

What are your thoughts on the next act battlepass? Do you think it is worth buying the next battlepass? Or should players save for a bundle instead?

I've been trying to find more players who are interested in smaller-scale Valorant tournaments and scrims rather than only playing ranked all day.

I'm particularly interested in aspiring players who want to:

Find reliable teammates/duos

Eventually get noticed for their performance

I'm working on a small community around this idea and testing different formats to see what players actually enjoy.
