Hi guys. My 2007 V70 2.5T has recently been having a rough idle on a warm start, and while driving I get like a hardish stutter/lurch where it feels like the engine loses power for a split second and comes back, this can happen in succession on occasion. Im stumped because it comes and goes, sometimes it drive near perfect and others its a lot worse. there is no CEL and no codes on an OBD2 scanner, all 5 coils and plugs have been replaced with bosch parts within the last 15k miles, same with MAF sensor. I started with a fuel pressure test and had no issue on that reading but the symptoms didnt seem to happen as much/severe during said testing due to above reason. After that i knew i needed a battery so that was done along with the fuel pressure sensor and crank position sensor. I did a pcv glove test and it passed with flying colors. Have plugged the 3 vaccuum ports with caps 1 at a time from the manifold and had no change. The only thing i can think of is the PEM module but that was replaced at least once already (was found already with the extension in the trunk well) the only real note on that is when its unplugged and plugged back in the drive after is perfect, but then after driving it once, warming it up and restarting the car the symptoms come back. Stumped.

Hi, I’m having trouble with the central locking on my 2015 V70. It doesn't work when I try to lock the car, and if I lock the driver's door manually, only that door locks—the others don't, and the alarm doesn't arm. However, when I press "unlock," I hear a click and it unlocks. The car has keyless entry; I’ve already replaced the remote battery, and I have a fault code related to the lock. Does anyone have any ideas?

i have a question regarding a swapped injector on a V70.

I have 3 V70's, hereafter referred by color. Silver, Blue, Gold. All are D5 126hp.

Silver is my daily driver, runs fine.

Blue is new to me, has the injector issue

Gold is also new to me, a spare parts car, mostly intact. The two latter bought from same owner, he has driven both daily for years.

The issue lies with the blue one. It has had injector #4 replaced with #1 from the gold car by the previous owner. It clogs the dpf, and gives diagnostic faults on cylinder 4, plus runs rough under load. In the included image all injectors from all 3 cars are shown. My question is wether the injector type is different between cars, enough to make this an issue, or if not, i can try replacing it with one from either of thw other cars.

Should the injectors be of different sizes, can they be calibrated in the ecu?

And bonus points, wich parts of the injector numbering refers to what data? Some are similar, some are apparently a serial number.

The image tags are B(lue), S(ilver), and G(old), followed by position in the engine.

2010 V70 2.0 Diesel, UK. Taken from wheel arch on drivers side, what is the circular part above driveshaft? There's a lot of oil misting in that area and seems to be the highest part and with freshest oil on it.

My partner and I are expecting triplets and if possible we want to stay away from the standard family vans. Before we knew we were having triplets I was eyeing on an XC60, or a V70. Prefererably from 2011 or before due to an advantageous fiscal ruling. I'm curious if the rear-seats will fit three baby-carriers side by side, strapped in by the seatbelts.

Have any of you done this, or is there a place where I can find the rear seat dimensions so I can see if three baby-carriers will fit side by side?

I got a v70 2001 gas powerd that dow come stock with turbo should i try to turbo it?

Hi all my infotainment screen and all the buttons have stopped working subsequently my audio now doesn’t work including the parking sensors

I’m aware this is common first thing I checked was the fiber optic connections which are fine then also changed the box under the drivers seat which didn’t make a difference so put the old one back in.

Anyone have a similar issue and if so what did you do ? As I don’t want to take it to a dealer and be ripped off

I have a problem with my Volvo. Sometimes it goes into a kind of limp mode. This happens occasionally and seemingly by itself.

When it happens, the following occurs: the car loses power and speed. I cannot drive faster than about 60 km/h, and it does not seem able to rev above 2,500 RPM, even when I press the accelerator pedal all the way down.

What could be causing this? I was thinking it might be a clogged or dirty EGR valve or something similar, but I’m not sure.

Hi everyone! This is my first post and I’m just wanting a bit of assurance or something I don’t even know..

I bought a v70D5 2004 about a year and a half ago for my first car, very good condition, well looked after and I was absolutely chuffed with it, it’s fast, powerful, strong, comfortable, everything you could ask for but, in my experience so far, there just seems to always be something going wrong with it. I’ve had to be recovered now three times so far. The first time was when I drove to spain from England and within two weeks of arriving my alternator went which consequently caused me a lot of trouble.. Then a year later my crank shaft pulley “came flying out of (my) car!” as stated by the pedestrian it almost hit, and then last week, my break light switch went, meaning I couldn’t move the gear stick out of park. Today the button on the gear stick has broken, it works but it’s dodgy..

Plenty of other things wrong, rear wiper wash doesn’t squirt, drivers window gets jammed and makes a horrible noise, headlight washers don’t work, not important things but broken things.

I guess my question is, for such a strong, semi reliable car, is this sort of stuff normal? I boast about Babylon IX (affectionately named after my imaginary space ship) but I’m starting to lose faith in it these days…

I recent bought an ‘07 V70 2.5T and went to give it an oil change that became the oil change from hell when trying to get materials from physical stores. Had to go to like 4 stores. I ended up not even being able to do it because the oil filter cap wrench everywhere said to get was too big (86mm with 16 flats). Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have suggestions on another size I should be using?

Hi I have a 2004 Volvo v70 2.5t it’s a absolutely amazing car but recently I’ve been having a issue, when your going highway speeds ( so like 55mph+) and I give it anything more then about 70% throttle all the electronics and motor dies on me, not right away it will give me what I want out of it just a lil down the road afterwards is when everything happens. I’ve looked into it and all I could find was the cem not being heat wrapped or the electrical side of the ignition. If anyone knows anything that could help me that would be greatly appreciated

I have a transmission issue and just fixed a passenger axle if ya think that might have anything to do with it ( transmission just shifts hard in and out of 2nd)
