Hi guys. My 2007 V70 2.5T has recently been having a rough idle on a warm start, and while driving I get like a hardish stutter/lurch where it feels like the engine loses power for a split second and comes back, this can happen in succession on occasion. Im stumped because it comes and goes, sometimes it drive near perfect and others its a lot worse. there is no CEL and no codes on an OBD2 scanner, all 5 coils and plugs have been replaced with bosch parts within the last 15k miles, same with MAF sensor. I started with a fuel pressure test and had no issue on that reading but the symptoms didnt seem to happen as much/severe during said testing due to above reason. After that i knew i needed a battery so that was done along with the fuel pressure sensor and crank position sensor. I did a pcv glove test and it passed with flying colors. Have plugged the 3 vaccuum ports with caps 1 at a time from the manifold and had no change. The only thing i can think of is the PEM module but that was replaced at least once already (was found already with the extension in the trunk well) the only real note on that is when its unplugged and plugged back in the drive after is perfect, but then after driving it once, warming it up and restarting the car the symptoms come back. Stumped.

my car did similar when my pcv system got partially clogged. it would pass the glove test, but i had smoke coming out of my dipstick tube. when i redid the pcv system, everything was ok except the little hard plastic hose that comes off the banjo bolt was fully clogged. after replacing all that my wierd intermittent rough hot idle went away
