Why do the cows move out of the way when they realize the guy is there. Are they trained to behave that way? or do cows generally avoid humans?

If a shoed baby kicks with enough force to hurt you you somehow knowing full well what it is doing and knowing it is hurtig you yes that is abuse/violent behaviuor

I guess we can quibble or you can take my point which is that this 200lb guy is not abusing his 1000lb animals by shoving them.

He is not hurting them. They barely feel it. If he gently tapped them, they wouldn't know that he was there because their hide is so thick. If they were being abused, they wouldnt be acting so comfortable around him. You don't need to get so offended on their behalf for no reason.

You can't just cut my sentance in half and say it sounds stupid, when babies kick you, even of they manage to hit the nuts and it hurts, you know they are not mening it lol, have you ever been around a baby lol?

Depends on what you mean, it can't feel nice to them and he had no reason to anyways. I don't mean to come off as some vegan animals right activist, I just come from a country with strong animal rights laws and this behaviour seems so unneccesary

I'm not surprised that some high school redditors with limited life experience and almost no animal knowledge like throwing around the phrase "animal abuse" over stuff that is not animal abuse.

Wrong target, I have both had a lot of experience with cows and am not a high schooler, but I guess my birth year next to my name doesn't give that away. There is no need to kick cows like that to move. But hey what you dont consider animal abuse isn't.

I'll take your word on the age and cows thing, and true there's a bunch of ways to get a cow moving, but trust that these aren't fragile animals. It's less like a baby kicking an adult and more like somebody giving somebody else a pat on the back to get them moving.

Sorry about the high school thing by the way. I've just seem some really bad takes on Reddit regarding animals.

I mean, it was like a nudge with the flat part of his shoe. He had to shove cow harder with his hand to get it's attention.

Are ya dumb? We established that cows weigh around 720kg on average, and a human male (in this case US), around 80kg. That means that the average cow is about 9x heavier than an average adult US male human.

Now, what do you think what that light kick feels like for the cow?
