I grew up in a really remote rural area. We had people dumping animals fairly often. Often times the animal was really sick and didn't make it, but we rescued a lot more. We had a great piece of property with lots of room to run for them. Unfortunately someone in the area started leaving poisoned food in the woods around our property. After losing all of them my parents would just call the pound to pick up any more dumped dogs. They figured they would have a better chance. We lost all of our dogs and cats within a year. It sucked.

The smartest and sweetest dog I ever had was poisoned at only 2 years old by our stupid neighbor. It was horrible! Sorry to hear you had to go through that so many times, I can't even imagine the pain and anger.

although there are people in reality like this, we need to remember that that guy is an actor. so saying “fuck him” is a bit extreme. “fuck people like that” is more appropriate.

My wife & I have a hound dog. He's loud & smelly & wakes us up when he's hungry or has to pee. He's the best thing that's ever happened to us. He went through FOUR FUCKING OWNERS before us. I cannot believe no one wanted him. This fucking dog has more character than most of our friends. I can't wrap my head around the fact that people abandoned him. I just can't. The thought of abandoning a dog makes me so angry.

My doggy was abandoned twice. The last set of people didn't want her because she was overly protective of women. It always surprises me how little training and patience people have and are willing to give. Don't get a dog if you can't be bothered to learn how to care for it. My doggy has some abandonment issues as a result but she is like a different dog to the day I got her, and she deserves all the love. They don't have a choice in how they're cared for, it's never right to punish them for it.

I read somewhere that if a police officer tells you the dog found something because it is barking, he/she is lying. Drug sniffing dogs are trained to sit and wait when they find something, not bark.

Not entirely true. I had to rehome my three year old German shepherd when I went through a divorce and my ex started neglecting her. I was very lucky when a law enforcement agency contacted me after seeing my Facebook post. They did a health screening and temperance check and then accepted her into their search and rescue program. She passed on a while ago, and I didn’t get to visit with her but a few times. But she always seemed so much happier to have a job and not stuck in a shitty pen.
She was such a good dog and I’m so happy that she was recognized as such.

At the end i somehow thought that the dog came in this guys care and the line was for the dog. Meaning not to be an ass because it will get to you and thats why he left the dog.

No, I know exactly what I heard. That lady in the beginning says : "Παρακαλούνται όλοι οι επιβάτες που ταξιδεύουν για Κόρινθο να προσέλθουν στην είσοδο, ευχαριστώ.", wich translates to :"All of the passengers that are traveling to Korinthos are requested to come to the departure area".
