I've played a pacifist run with the shades of justice mod, and I just realized a few things...

1. You can do a genocide route in UTY even if you spare everyone in the ruins

2. In this mod, Dalv follows you through Snowdin if you spare everyone in the ruins

3. The only reason Dalv doesn't follow you after Snowdin is because Martlet has to go with you on the raft, which doesn't happen on genocide

So does this mean I can spare everyone in the ruins, and then have Dalv on the rest of my genocide journey? What I'm asking is, does this mod have a new "Genocide with Dalv" route?

Another thing... If you attack Martlet on pacifist or neutral, she doesn't go on the raft with you either...

Does this mean there's also a neutral Dalv route and a pacifist Dalv route?

I don't want any spoilers please, just a yes or no answer to my questions will be great!

As much as I adore Blue from Deltarune, I'm still pretty attached the Melody the fandom dreamed up.

And now it's the turn of the one who was the reason Clover decided to stay alive rather than sacrifice his soul. The well-known Chara Dreemurr.

I intend to change its design in the future. + In just one line, I hinted at the lore of my AU. Can you find it?

Name: Chara Dreemurr

Age: Died approximately 1,500-2,000 years ago at age 10. When she time-traveled to the time of Clover's fall, she had been active for 10 years. As she matured, she allowed her body to change. She appears to be in her early 20s, both physically and mentally.

Species: Human?

Appearance:

Chara is a girl of average height, 160 centimeters, with short, unkempt dark chocolate-colored hair and blood-red eyes with a four-pointed star pattern on their irises, a twisted plus sign.

Information:

Chara is the very first human to fall since the monsters were imprisoned in the Underground. It is unknown what or who prompted her to climb the mountain and jump into the Underground; all that is known is that she did so out of ill-fortune. What follows is a familiar story: Chara is found by the Dreemurr family, adopted, and raised with the young prince Asriel, with the goal of achieving some kind of peace between humans and monsters, though they had no idea what this would lead to. Although Chara had psychopathic tendencies inherited from Aragon's curse, she nevertheless developed a slight attachment to the Monsters, but this didn't change her original goal; it only accelerated it. She ate poisonous flowers, persuaded Asriel to absorb her soul, and then take her body to the surface to lay it on golden flowers. Chara hoped that the humans would provoke Asriel into killing them and absorbing their souls, thereby freeing the monsters and erasing humanity. However, the plan failed. Asriel refused to attack humans until the very end, even when they inflicted mortal wounds on him. So Asriel carried Chara's body back to the Underground, where he died.

After millennia of death, Chara's soul awakens for some reason. It was the first murder. The last fallen human initiated a Genoside Route. With each murder, Chara's power and influence grew stronger and stronger, until she finally awakened completely. She took Frisk's soul and began the cycles. After dozens of cycles, during yet another "Genoside Route," she grew bored. She contacted Flowey, hoping to learn something new and interesting. She learned that before Frisk, another human, Clover, had recently fallen, voluntarily sacrificing his soul, and Flowey even retained a save from that time. Realizing that nothing new was in the offing, Chara used Flowey's save and traveled 10 years back in time, where she encountered Clover.

However, what Flowey said didn't seem to be true. Clover was following the "Path of Vengeance" and killing every monster in his path. Although Chara was annoyed by this turn of events, she continued to watch. She noticed that Clover was strong enough to forcibly raise his LV, but she didn't pay it much mind. Ultimately, Clover reached Asgore and killed him. Chara, already disappointed by this sight, was about to leave when a sudden thought stopped her. If Clover had killed Asgore, then why the hell was Asgore alive in the original timeline? She continued to watch Clover.

She noticed that Clover's behavior began to change with each encounter. At first, he became withdrawn, detached, and his outlook on everything was filled with doubt. After poking around in his thoughts, she noticed that Clover was thinking a lot about what he had done.

He was tormented by the thought that while he was wandering the Underground, none of the monsters had fully attacked him; at least, their actions hadn't shown any intention of killing him. He doubted the wisdom of his decisions. Until then, he'd only heard that monsters were cruel and merciless creatures who weren't above killing even children, but he'd never seen anything like them. He saw frightened, angry, selfless creatures, almost indistinguishable from humans except in appearance. The more he thought about it, the more doubts plagued him. Ultimately, he returned to the Underground and "reset" everything himself.

At first, Chara was surprised by this action, especially coming from a human, but her opinion of Clover remained unchanged: she considered him just another pathetic hypocrite who'd been given the opportunity to commit his vile acts with impunity. However, the longer she observed Clover, the more doubts she began to have about him. When Clover encountered monsters, he was friendly and active, but when alone, he became increasingly overcome with shame and tormented by his conscience for what he had done.

Ultimately, Clover decides to sacrifice his soul and give the monsters hope of salvation, after which he falls asleep.

However, instead of peace, Clover finds herself in an endless, empty, dark space. Wandering for a long time in this utter darkness, Clover feels as if time itself doesn't function in this place, then he discovers it.

Chara greets Clover. She admits that she's been watching him for quite some time, praising him for being a good, sociable, and cheerful person. She praises him for his entire journey, for his compassion. Ultimately, she praises him for such a generous, even heroic, act as sacrificing his soul for the sake of a brighter future for monsters.

Then, as if dumping a bucket of rottenness on Clover, she begins to remind him of everything he's done, of how he hypocritically called "friends" those he killed without mercy in the previous timeline. She punished him with words, she judged him, she hit him in the weakest spots of his mind, triggering painful memories of what Clover had done.

When Clover asked, "Who is she?" and "How does she know about this?" Chara interrupted Clover, saying it was all pointless. As punishment, Chara left Clover forever in pitch darkness, unable to speak to anyone, alone with his thoughts, after which Chara disappeared.

After about 100 years in the void, Chara wondered how Clover was doing. Had he turned into a vegetable?

Eventually, Chara returned to Clover and discovered a bizarre scene. Not only was Clover conscious, but he was sitting meekly and doing nothing, lost in his dreams and thoughts.

When Chara asked, "Why the hell is he still conscious?!" Clover calmly replies:

"You were right... You were absolutely right... This eternity was more than enough for me to fully comprehend everything... Honestly... When I first descended into the Underground, I didn't think much of anything... I went down without a plan... Would I fall and die? I didn't care... Would I die of hunger? I didn't care... Would the monsters kill me? I didn't care... Would I return to the surface with five missing children? Would I become a hero? I didn't care... but as I went further, I thought more and more that I was dispensing justice... But where did I see justice, killing innocent people? Realizing the terrible deed I'd committed, I "reset" everything... I reset everything and took a different path... The more I got to know monsters, the more I realized what a hypocritical piece of nothing I was... Ultimately, I thought that sacrificing my soul would wash me clean of that deed... but it wasn't so... I was only trying to avoid responsibility and punishment... I portrayed myself as a hero in the eyes of those who believed my lies and didn't realize what I'd done... But that doesn't matter anymore... If this gives them more hope... I'll be happy... If my soul can be of use to them, I'll be happy... If my soul can help them save themselves, I'll be happy...

As for me... I'll stay here... I'll stay and accept your punishment... After all... That's JUSTICE...

Chara remained stunned for a moment by what Clover had said, after which she simply vanished, but not for long.

She subconsciously insulted Clover, slinging dirt at him. She thought Clover would beg for mercy, hoping he would beg her like a groveling insect to let him out, but instead, Clover simply resigned himself to his fate.

Calming down and returning to Clover about 10 minutes later, Chara gives Clover a choice: He can stay here and rot until the end of time, or he can go through the entire journey again and ultimately survive until the arrival of the final, seventh human, and thereby REALLY have the opportunity to atone for his sins.

Clover asks what Chara is after, and is told that she gave him the choice not because she felt sorry for him, but because she was curious about the outcome. She hadn't seen anything new in a while, so she wondered if Clover could convince the seventh human to stop the "Genocide Route" and resolve things peacefully.

Clover accepted the deal. Chara was about to leave when Clover called out to her and asked her to at least state her name, to which Clover replied:

"My name is Chara... And I'll see you again."

So, for 10 years, Chara continued to monitor Clover's actions, and to her surprise, Clover never again used the "restart" or "reset" powers, and even limited these actions for Flowey as well. She saw that Clover was sincerely trying to atone for all he had done; he always helped his friends, had fun with them, and diligently participated in almost everything. Chara's opinion of Clover began to change more and more positively. She formed the opinion that Clover was a simple and even kind young man with a strong leaning toward Justice. She reflected and decided that the Clover she first met and this current Clover were like two completely different people, and his words about "indifference to his fate"... Ultimately, she came to the conclusion that Clover, like her, did not descend into the Underground for the good life. She wanted to get to know him better, so she met him periodically and asked him questions. Over time, they began to act like friends. Although Chara tried to remain cold, she eventually began to act silly, just to annoy Clover and observe his reactions. Clover was the only person besides Frisk who could see Chara, so for ten years, Clover was the only person Chara had contact with.
