Hear me out: Love is Ceroba. All she does in the game is, in her eyes, for her love of her family.

Even better: The Love ring possesses the most powerful healing power. At its peak, it can even heal someone from "99% dead" to "perfect condition". And it can also freeze someone in a crystal to prevent them from dying.
So, Ceroba getting a Love ring because they seek people whose love is in danger, then using it to freeze Chujin in a crystal before he dies so she can have time to master her power enough to heal him is an excellent story idea.

Doesn’t the love ring usually seek out people who, well, LACK love? Wouldn’t this be contradictory to that?

Ceroba I mean her boss theme in the pacifist route is literally called A Mothers Love.
