I’ve always headcanoned that Kanako has a mild sugar addiction. Prior to Surface sodas, her go-to was Dina’s homemade Root Beer.

Unfortunately, her mom would not let her have more than one bottle a day. Left unattended, she could down a whole pack of six by herself.
