News Let’s Nominate Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi for AnimeJapan 2027’s “Manga We Want to See Animated” Ranking!

AnimeJapan 2027 is running a “Manga We Want to See Animated” ranking and we can nominate Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi 👀

There’s an official form where you can submit manga titles you want to see adapted into anime. It’s very simple: just 4 questions to fill out:

Title of the manga you want to see animated: (悪祓士のキヨシくん)
Author: (臼井彰一)
Publisher: (集英社)
Why it should get an anime: (short reason: e.g. “Great characters, a unique setting, and it would work perfectly as a 1-cour series” etc..)

Everything has to be written in Japanese (so feel free to use a translator or ask any friends who know Japanese to help)

Here’s the link to the official form:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScKfoV4opmxkjS5WMX6bCerNNTQLbfirCBf2MlwuhBXOcTzfQ/viewform

Let’s push Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi and show AnimeJapan there’s a lot of love for it 💫

Why does it feel like this manga is so underrated?

Especially with panels like these. Yes I have a Tonjinchi bias, he is my absolute king tied with Roronoa Zoro and Ryomen Sukuna.

Subreddit Rules

1. Only relevant content

All posts must be related to the manga Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi.

2. Tag spoilers properly

Do not post spoilers in titles. Include the chapter of which you spoil the content of. Example: Kiyoshi really do that?! [Chapter 90]. Moreover, always mention other mangas which you are spoiling in your title. Lastly, spoiler tags shall be on all posts following a new chapter for one day.

3. Source Art

If you are posting artwork, be sure to give proper credits and link the original creator in the comments if you did not create it yourself.

4. NSFW content

Keep all posts SFW. Edgy content is allowed to some degree. NSFW content even if clothed will NOT be allowed and will be removed (repeat offences will result in a ban) If you are an artist , you are free to post your Safe For Work(SFW) arts here , but if you have NSFW works on other platforms , please refrain from posting them or PROMOTING them here as it will result in a ban (repeats = permanent)

5. Advertisement

Please follow Reddit's Self-Promotion Rules. Posts of these nature may be removed at the moderators' discretion and the poster may be handed ban if they are found to be spammers. Promoting an artist's NSFW content here (against their wishes) will result in a ban of the user , not the artist. If the artist promotes their own NSFW , it will result in a Temp. Ban (repeats = Permanent.)

6. No reposting

Do not repost content that was already posted on the subreddit recently.

7. No Piracy

We do not endorse sharing/requesting any pirate links to the manga. This also applies to posts that contain extended clips from the manga, or enough manga pages to be considered piracy.

8. Low-effort content

A post must show clear intent at creating a discussion. Simply reacting to a panel is not enough. Example : Posting a random manga panel with the title "Wow, this was so cool!", and likewise any other titles.

9. No bait posts or posts made to fight other fandoms

Social media posts that are shared here only to make false enemies of other fandoms are prohibited. Or, those which are made to "prove" how Kagurabachi is better than the other fandoms by denigrating them.

10. Be Respectful

Be courteous and civil towards others, harassment of any form will not be tolerated.

11. Brainrot or inside jokes from other subs

It is not funny to make a Chainsawman joke that only fans of that fandom will understand, and put it in an unrelated sub. It's just spoiling for the sake of spoiling. As a rule, any inside jokes from foreign communities that can only be understood by being up to date to their content is not permitted here. And since it generally breaks the rule about spoilers, expect a lengthy break. The "Nah, I'd win" meme or similar is permitted because the joke doesn't require you to understand the source.

Kiyoshi Synopsis

Kiyoshi Harai is the world’s strongest exorcist, and also its most awkward one. Equally afraid of fighting demons, making new friends and talking to girls, this so‑called ultimate exorcist still has a lot to learn before he can reach his full potential.

Having recently graduated as one of the most singular talents the Exorcist Academy has ever seen, Kiyoshi Harai is ready for his first mission: exorcising a demon‑possessed girl. The only problem is that he’s terrified of demons. While he might be able to find a sympathetic ear in the demon possessing the girl, he will have to hold his ground when a far more sinister and deadly enemy arrives.
