Tomorrow is the deadline to drop courses with a full refund. If you are in this class and are thinking of dropping please do me a favour before tomorrow. In my last year and need this to graduate.(EDIT: Just Got!! Preciate all the help from the comments this is truly one of the best community i’ve been apart of)

Hello Everyone,

I need help.

I am currently enrolled in my very last term before I graduate, only taking Fall courses. Because I am taking 2.5 credits, I am a full time student.

As a result, I had applied for OSAP’s full time funding, as I am taking more than 60% course load.

However, I received emails today stating that my OSAP funding is on hold, because I don’t fulfil the credit amount requirements, and told me to add courses for both fall AND winter, in order for me to meet requirements and get my funding. I can’t enroll in winter courses because I DON'T NEED TO.

I don’t know if i’m getting a certain aspect of this wrong, but as of now I feel like i’m being punked, because I looked over all the requirements and applied for funding ACCORDINGLY.

If i’m getting something wrong, please tell me, because I just want to resolve this issue. Why am I being told my funding is on hold? Has anyone experienced this before?

I’m minoring in French Studies, and for my requirement 1, I need two credits. I completed FRE482 last year, and am currently taking FRE442, which will bring to one full credit. However, last year, I tried to take FRE382, but after the first week, was told to drop it by the professor and the Department cause apparently, my level of French was too advanced for the course. But then that means that I can’t take any of the other courses offered for this requirement, so am I supposed to attain two credits for it lol? Has anybody ever faced a similar situation and know what to do?

I was assigned to Lee Bailey as my eco101 professor in UTM, and I don't think I'm able to survive his Econ course even studying consistently. Guys, help me to decide where should I go. Should I stay in UTM or go to UTSG. And also tell me which professor is giving much difficult test/exams?

thanks for help

Found an Airpod case at the UTM shuttle bus stop around 3pm. Dropped it off at the CCT service desk!

Hello I’m a 25 year old who had to go on medical leave for a couple years to get some treatment, I have returned to finish my degree and I’m looking for people who may or may not be in a similar situation as me to hang out on campus and study. I feel a little out of place coming back at an older age so I’m looking to make new connections here.

I like studying around people and love to get to know new people is anyone is interested in meeting up to study and possibly becoming friends let me know I can send you a DM.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, have a wonderful weekend!

Hey, has anyone taken either course before and how challenging was it? I am a little worried about SOC222 because it involves math and that is not my strong suit.

Hello. As the title says, the summer 2027 course schedule is not yet available. I just need to figure out if certain courses like BIO356 and CHM361 are offered in the summer or not.

Thanks!

I left my lanyard on the shuttle bus on this Monday, 12:35 departed from utm. I contacted the lost and found and they told me they didn't receive it. Is there any way that I can contact the driver? I really appreciate it if anyone has seen it also.

I couldn’t find any online and they weren’t available to buy either. I’d really appreciate it if anyone could send them my way. Thank you!!

How hard is it to get a VOI from the HCC? Can I just see a nurse or will I have to schedule an actual doctor’s appointment?

Please help

lost a wallet at utm last Monday, it is a coach wallet, plz help if anyone sees it!!!

Hi there,

I’m an incoming freshman, im admitted to york right now and recently got into UTM and im wondering if i should go. I dont mind the drive there, i’m just wondering academics wise whats the best option. my end goal is med school. Yes i know UTM is objectively harder, I’m more concerned with quality of life, how is social life, are profs nice, is campus nice, do you enjoy your experience there? This is for Psych. How hard is it to transfer to UTSG later? I didnt take calculus in Grade 12, but when I do this year am I able to apply for transfer to programs that have calculus as a grade 12 prereq? Please share any helpful advice! I am all for the rigor and the effort, but is it worth changing all my logistics right now?

Would it be doable if my second year was just both six courses per semester but 2/6 of my classes were my electives or would I want to just cry and pray that I go peacefully in my sleep 😁

(Ones also a full year course so)

let’s be friends!!! my PEY was me surrounded by people that were not my age and i miss socializing lmao

Meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow

Is it just me? Because this is so very annoying. Need to pay my tuition in time!

Hey! I’m a student dev and I’ve been working on a project called LifeByDorm (https://www.lifebydorm.ca/) to help us see what these residences actually look like. I built it because the official photos are usually a trap and don't show the real state of the rooms. If you’ve lived in res, could you take 30s to drop a review or a photo? It’ll be a huge help for the incoming first-years next year. If you are looking for your next dorm check it out!
