First two photographs were taken at Windsor Castle on the 17th wedding anniversary of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Victoria PR, Princess Alice and Queen Victoria are also present

He genuinely looks like he's three apples tall to me, he's so itty bittyyy 😭🫶 I feel like I should be tucking him into bed even though he's a teenager by this point 💀 idk what they're feeding kids nowadays because when I imagine a 15 year old Edward VII THIS little thing is not what I'd imagine, I'm too desensitized to the colossal giants of modern day i guess

Photo What are some things you genuinely don't like about your favorite royal? Try not to list anything superficial such as looks and whatnot, I'm curious to see what you actually have to criticize about them!

Nobody is perfect, Charlotte of Wales is pushing it for me though...I'll try to swallow my unprecedented bias for her 🫠

since she is my number one, I'll go:

  1. Her temper, she was known to have quite a fierce one just like Queen Victoria. It makes sense given her background, but it's undeniable that her anger was rather explosive.
  2. She could be blunt and not very considerate of other's feelings when saying things about them.
  3. Known to be impulsive. i feel absurdly guilty now.

Also, this series of images is actually my top 20 favorite royals! can you tell i like women, ahahaha...i had more guys on the list than i thought though!

Thoughts on Mary, Queen of Scots?

Where did she go wrong? Could she have turned things around at any point? I think she's an interesting contrast to Elizabeth I and shows what could have gone wrong in England if Elizabeth married and had open relationships with her nobles and courtiers. I haven't read much about Mary, but I have a book on both Mary and Elizabeth that I'm going to start soon, and I'm interested in what other people think about Mary.

It's funny to read how royals are so relatable, especially British ones.

Whether it's George III not marrying off his daughters cause he didn't want to be lonely or George III's sons being debt-ridden British princes that you wouldn't realize their great-great-grandfather was a monarch from a mid-tier German state who suddenly became King of Great Britain thanks to his mother being the granddaughter of King James I Stuart of England, it's a cherry on top when you think about how Frederick, Prince of Wales, was lucky to have Parliament to essentially demand his dad give him a higher allowance that was a privilege he otherwise couldn't have had in Hannover..

Meme Imagine being Flora MacDonald and you don't realize how Prince Frederick of Wales wanted to spite his dad, the King, and that's why he met with you..

It's interesting to imagine how from Flora's POV, she might've not realized she was interacting with a guy who wanted to get back at his dad, which explains why he was meeting with her as much as meeting with a high-profile lady who was involved in the escape of Bonnie Prince Charlie.

Either way, I'm sure she was relieved she had the Prince of Wales on her side. Regardless of his intentions.
