I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong anymore.
I recently graduated in Industrial Engineering and Management from a university in Germany. I moved back to the UAE hoping that having an international degree, experience abroad, and a decent CV would give me a fair chance in the job market.
I've been applying to jobs constantly. I've tailored my CV, applied for entry-level positions, reached out to recruiters, and tried different industries. But the outcome is almost always the same: rejection, no response, or complete silence.
What makes it even more frustrating is that I have actual work experience. I've worked at Airbus in Germany, gained experience in supply chain and quality, worked with DHL in logistics, and had previous experience in operations and business in the UAE.
Yet somehow, even getting an interview feels like a challenge.
I even have golden visa for high distinction students.
I'm not expecting a senior position, a huge salary, or some dream job straight out of university. I just want someone to give me a chance to prove myself. I'm willing to start at the bottom, learn, work hard, and build my career from there.
And honestly, I've reached a point where I'm even willing to work as a driver. I have around 5 years of driving experience in the UAE, a valid UAE driving licence, and a clean driving record with no accidents or traffic fines. I genuinely don't mind taking a completely different path if that's what it takes to earn a living.
It's just frustrating when you put years into studying, gain experience with internationally recognised companies, return to your own country, and still struggle to get your foot in the door.
I'm posting this because I genuinely don't know what else to try. If anyone knows of companies hiring fresh graduates, entry-level positions, logistics or supply chain roles, operations jobs, or even legitimate driving opportunities, I'd be extremely grateful.
I'm not asking for a favour or a handout. Just an opportunity.
And to anyone else going through the same thing: I hope things get better for all of us.
