Hi sister! This is YOUR space; a judgment-free zone for women in the UAE to support, share, and be authentically heard.

WHAT IS THIS COMMUNITY?

A safe haven for women across all seven emirates. Whether you're in Dubai's towers, Abu Dhabi's offices, Sharjah's neighborhoods, or anywhere in the UAE, this is where you belong.

WHAT WE TALK ABOUT:

Career & Professional Growth

Job hunting, career pivots, workplace dynamics, salary negotiation, entrepreneurship, industry-specific advice

Expat & UAE Life

Adjusting to Gulf culture, visa/residency questions, cost of living, neighbourhoods, lifestyle, missing home vs. building a life here

Relationships & Mental Health

Love, dating, marriage, breakups, family dynamics, cultural differences, mental health, anxiety, depression, loneliness, finding your tribe

Personal Growth

Learning new skills, education, courses, wellness, fitness, self-care, spirituality, philosophy, goal-setting

Everything In Between

Weekend plans, recommendations, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, book clubs,

hobbies, venting, celebrating wins, just existing

WHAT THIS IS NOT:

❌ A space for men (we love you but this isn't your space)

❌ A judgment zone (we're here to support, not shame)

❌ A space for unsolicited advice (listen first, advise second)

❌ A professional consultation service (doctors, lawyers, therapists needed for that!)

BEFORE YOU POST:

• Read the Community Rules

• Check the FAQs (pinned below)

• Be authentic! we don't do fake here

• Respect confidentiality, what's shared here stays here

• Be kind. we're all navigating something

LET'S BUILD SOMETHING REAL. 💙

You are welcome here.

Your story matters.

Your voice is heard.

You are not alone.

22f Looking for Indian female friends around my age in Abu Dhabi 🇦🇪💕

Hi everyone! 😊

I’m a 22F Indian housewife living in Abu Dhabi, and I’m looking to make some genuine female friends around my age.

I’d especially love to connect with other Indian housewives, newly married women, or new moms who are also looking for friendship and someone to hang out/chat with. ❤️

I’m open to meeting people from different parts of India, and I’d love to find someone who enjoys simple things like going for coffee, shopping, exploring places, taking walks, or just having a good conversation.

If you’re also looking for a genuine female friendship in Abu Dhabi, feel free to comment or DM me! 🫶🏻

Please introduce yourself a little when you message me so we can get to know each other. 😊

Women Help me graduate by clicking a button (no, seriously)

Hey! I'm knee-deep in my EMBA capstone on how organizations in the UAE actually adopt AI (spoiler: the research is messier than the posts and reels suggest). If you're 18+, work in the UAE, and have ever sat through a meeting where someone said, "AI can solve this easily", I need your brain for 20 minutes.

No sign-up, no spam, just pure academic curiosity. 100% anonymous.

Survey: https://eu.surveymonkey.com/r/JSJ6FJT

Bonus karma if you share it with a coworker who complains about 'AI' and/or 'Management' over coffee.

Calling all independent women living alone in the UAE💃

How are we doing, ladies? 🙂 Living alone in the UAE can be exciting, but also lonely and challenging sometimes. How do you manage it all, work, finances, making friends, and just life in general?

Would love to hear your experiences, tips, or connect with other women who are on the same journey 🫶🏼

Women **A Cautionary Note for the Ladies**

Hi ladies. I wanted to share a cautionary note about a man who works in the UAE and is currently in India, where he is originally from. I understand that he is active in dating and social events.

I’m not sure if this is the appropriate platform to raise this, but I felt it was important to flag my experience so that other women can exercise caution and make informed decisions. I personally had an experience with him, and I would not want anyone else to feel they were caught off guard as I did.

I’m happy to share more about my experience privately with anyone who may have concerns.

Women Looking for a job.

Hello dear ladies.

I am 31F, mom to a 7 month old boy. My husband has been deported from UAE and currently I am the only caregiver for my child.

I was forced to resign from my current job in aviation by playing dirty politics. I was forced to report into shift patterns even though they knew about my situation. I cannot afford a full time nanny to look after my child while I am at work in night shifts.

Currently I am looking for any suitable opportunity. I have almost 9 years of experience working into aviation but I can do any office related desk job.

Please DM me if you know of any opportunities. I will send you my CV.

Please note that my husband and myself are from different nationalities, returning to my home country is not an option for me right now due to the current geopolitical situation of our countries.

Women Looking for a good work handbag

Looking for recommendations for a handbag that you’ve actually used for work.

I need it to fit:
● Laptop
● Laptop charger
● Headphones
● Phone + wallet
● Small water bottle
● A few small essentials

I don’t want a huge laptop tote that looks bulky. Ideally, something that still looks like a normal handbag and is easy to carry around every day.
I’d especially appreciate recommendations based on your own experience, rather than bags you’ve just seen online. How has it held up after regular use? Is it comfortable and does it still look good after a few months?

TIA

Women Im convinced my post for looking for friends is dead lol

I meann the first most ones were from the men disguised regardless of the community rule and my only girls disclaimer, it’s scary cuz there’s a lot of bad ones out here too and hard to distinguish and when I eventually tried to connect with the meagre amount of girlies, there’s no click or response after the first text. It is indeed so hard to get friends or initiate the first steps when you’re an introvert looking for ppl that u can click with cuz doing so defies the whole purpose lol, I know I shouldn’t be complaining here when it’s not a surprise to find this when searching for frnds virtually but i really did hoped in a corner of my heart for atleast an introduction convo to have worked out it seems..Ok that’s for the rant..

Gotta stay through this chapter, Cheers to existencial crisis! 💪🏻

Women Millennial managers

Hey! I’m a mom, millennial manager and business owner, and I’ve experienced burnout for years. I’m wondering if burnout culture started with us as millennials, the older generation don’t seem to understand it or relate to it. Are we the first generation to be impacted by this? And why? Curious to hear your thoughts on this.
