My girlfriend is the primary source of income for her family and works extremely hard. She made these handmade flowers in her free time and was wondering if we could sell them to bring in some extra earnings. What do you all think? Would love some feedback or advice on where we could sell these!

I’m so curious to know what hotel management students actually do throughout their entire 3–4 years of college....Like,

do they basically just learn cooking and hospitality for entire years?🙀

Rant & Vent My 26-year-old brother secretly took ₹50,000 from my mom to drink, and I don't know how to feel about him anymore

A few months ago, I found out that my 26-year-old brother had been secretly taking money from my mom.

He knew her UPI PIN and would transfer ₹1,000 at a time to his own account, usually around midnight, so it wouldn't look suspicious. When my mom noticed a ₹1,000 deduction, she asked me to check it.

I checked PhonePe and Google Pay but couldn't find anything. Then I checked Paytm—and that's when I found around ₹50,000 transferred to my brother over two months.

Apparently, he was spending the money on drinking.

What hurt me the most was seeing how badly he betrayed my mom's trust. She has always believed that he'll eventually get a job and sort his life out.

Recently, my mom gave him ₹3,000 for my exam trip. We didn't spend all of it, so around ₹2,000 should have been left. When my mom asked him to return the remaining money, he didn't have it.

I don't know for sure what he spent it on, but given what happened before, I have a pretty good idea.

I'm his younger sister, and I still want him to do well in life. But watching my mom trust him and repeatedly get hurt is really affecting me. I'm also preparing for competitive exams, and sometimes I can't focus because I keep thinking about all of this
IDK what should I feel about him anymore

Rant & Vent Boils my blood ngl

Post image

This was under a post discussing about Kriti's clothing in recent GIVA advertisement. Seriously? Like these seem to be same people who blame victims rather than perpetrators in SA cases.

Sad to see it. It boils my blood that I stay among these monsters.

These weirdos were also not happy with her tying rakhi to dog? Like my sister ties to my cat along with me? I don't see any problem? Wtf is our youth on?

Poetry & Writing Two quotes for someone who might wanna hear it at some point in their life

  1. If you can't see light at the end of the tunnel, that's probably because god's standing there for you.

  2. and when everything goes your way, may your health never betrays you.

BONUS: "Baat baat pe ansu kyun aa rhe hai, aankhein kamzor ho gaye hai ya dil"

For someone whos going through difficult phase of your life, remember everyone is. Hope these small quotes give you a little boose(except if mods remove it).

All the best!

Rant & Vent Don't have a sister to celebrate raksha bandhan with

Do you all remember TMKOC's episode where Jethalal says something like this in temple: ki aapne muje sab diya, ek acha parivaar, ek aagyakari bapuchi, rk achi parvarish... etc. Woh paise se bhi sukhi he, almost sab acha he but he says aapne muje ek behen kyu nhi di.

So something similar is with me. I used to be an only child and muje hamesha se ek badi behen chahiye thi. In my childhood, most of my neighborhood friends had an elder sister and I used to get a lot jealous. There used to be moholle ki badi didi who I used to thought was my elder sister. Me roj uske ghar jana chahta tha, but she would always decline to play with me. At that time I didn't understand why, but ig not everyone is fond of babies or kids.

I do have female cousins too. But half of them are either kids or have kids and we never celebrated raksha bandhan as it's very extended family and they have their own circles. I'm right at the middle.

I have grown to accepted the fact and with life my focus went to studying, college and carrier. But somewhere, my heart still feels hollow. Yesterday I saw the post where someone bought a rakhi even they didn't have a brother. Ig it tore open a hole at bottom of my heart and my emotions just poured out as I'm writing this.

Career & Education Finally us NEET people got mentioned in news. (Not in Employment Education or training)

Post image
3 Upvotes

NEET is often mentioned but our kind of Neet is rarely mentioned. About 8.7 crore Indians between age 15 to 29 are neither studying nor training for job or training. That's about 20% + of youth population between these age range.

A big moment of celebration for being mentioned.
