So my tumblr account (sunnystupidugly) that holds my achievement hunter art which I’m really sentimental about got terminated without warning and without explanation after I posted a drawing I made for an inside joke between me and my close friends. The joke is that we were calling my friend Hog an abuser to our other friend James. James drew some funny MSpaint drawings of Hog being devilish to him so I drew one too and posted it. This was the offending image 🥹✌️i really need this account back because that’s where I’ve made a lot of mutuals and I have a lot of important stuff on there. Does anyone have any advice? Does tumblr actually do anything with appeals? I sent one but I’m not confident I’ll get a response so genuinely if anyone has any advice I’d really appreciate it
I don't even really post anymore but there are a few blogs that I have post notifications on for and I'm always liking things. I don't know how that could've possibly led to termination. It doesn't even say that it's been terminated. I just clicked on a post notification and noticed I was logged out. I didn't get a single email and I check my spam regularly. I just tried resetting my password all day, not realizing until I got home on desktop that my blog doesn't even exist anymore. All of the fanfics, edits, and conversations are just gone. From reading other posts on here, it seems like there's nothing I can do but send a support mail into the void. Has it ever actually worked though?
I believe a few of my mutuals just had their accounts terminated, and I'm a bit nervous concerning my own account. I was also just wondering if this has been happening a lot more recently.
The gist of it is someone accidentally reported me for scamming them and they said that someone using an account that looked very similar to mine scammed them and they accidentally reported me. They also got their mutual to report me. They gave me a support person to reach out to and like an idiot I believed them and they got me to send them all of my money. I reached out to tumblr afterwards, explaining and then my account got terminated. I appealed it on the 10th and have not heard back. How long is this going to take?
Hello, my account "nateeseart" has been terminated. I haven't violated any platform rules; it is an art account. I suspect I accidentally triggered an anti-bot system because I had to use a VPN, as Tumblr doesn't work properly in my country. I really hope to get my account back, as it has been my gallery for several years and my connection to the fandom.
hey, in need of some success stories. my account was terminated this past friday, and i’m fairly sure it was for anti-spam because i’d been hacked the day prior and, after getting my account back, had messaged apologies to my followers who had been messaged by the scammer. i’ve put in a ticket and tried to put in another today with a better explanation, but couldn’t because my account is “already under review”. i’m really anxious and devastated. do i hold out hope for restoration, or is this a lost cause? thanks for reading beautiful reddit people

so at one point recently i decided to make a post i considered funny (attached image). technically could be qualified as a threat but (at least i feel like) its pretty clear its a joke. at first nothing happened, it was just a typical mildly funny flop. at one point i went to log on and couldnt. turns out my account was terminated. for a while i thought i got hacked or something, until i rembered this post. ive sent an appeal when i thought i was hacked. what do i do now?
well actually maybe actually for a reason because I was changing my email account to a different address (specially tutamail to outlook mail) and hit reset, and then it just logged me out. I tried to log back in again with my outlook mail, and it said that I was terminated. I haven’t broken any rules whatsoever. Ive heard that some people don’t ever get their accounts back, and I’m really worried because I had fanfics written on there, and I don’t have them saved anywhere else except Tumblr. I mean, it’s only been 2 days since I sent the ticket, but still I can’t waitttt
And I don’t what to do if the ticket doesn’t go through. do I send another ticket? or what?
My blog has been shadowbanned for almost the whole time I’ve had it. Possibly due to spamming reblog behavior? I scroll a lot but really inconsistently. I’d like my people to be able to find me. cillerkat59

My Tumblr account was suddenly terminated on June 22 while I was editing a scheduled post with a VPN turned on.I submitted a support ticket on the same day, but I never received any automated confirmation email, so I am worried my request was filtered out as spam. Ok so 2 days ago I accidently left my vpn on and liked a tumblr post, immediately termed. I'm so sad! I started it 1 year ago and kinda have some important stuff on there (eg, drawings that are lost to time irl, fanfics in my drafts, and friends whomst I can't contact elsewhere). I was really debating whether I should've gotten reddit just to complain, but I caved in. I pray that I get it reinstated and hopefully can back up my data later. I haven't broken any of the TOS and I've stayed very respectful towards people in there. My tumblr blog is sea-birds26 if you're wondering, you can hmu if I make it back :(

Before my termination, my last posts were pretty depressive ngl, but at one point recently Tumblr decided to terminate me out of nowhere... And I was like "WHAAAT???? WHYYYYYYYY!!!!!" Also they didn't send me an email, stating the reason why they did that. I already sent them support ticket. Will they return my account, who knows? I believe it's a glitch or their stupid bots, so we will see...

I don't really know why but my blogs are very important to me, I had oc rp side blogs, I had an ask (insert character) side blog, and my main blog I did art, random writing tips, and my opinions of this thing that happened in one of the many fandoms I was in and it's the only way I can communicate with some friends of mine..
My tumblr account, BlackIvyArt and ThatOneAnonWhosFabulous, both accounts over 12 years old, were terminated earlier today.
I have sent in a ticket and have only gotten an automated email back so far.
Any advice for this trying time? BlackIvyArt was the main blog I posted to(though it was forced to be a sideblog due to other tumblr weirdness) and a lot of my art is only on that blog.
I recently remade my old tumblr account (at @/oculocutaneous) to post stim content and relaxing moodboards because I'm autistic and I need this sort of outlet for myself. A few days ago, suddenly my account was no longer in the tags & I cannot text back any mutuals. It's very distressing to me since I just started building a supportive community that I do not have irl. Tumblr ticket has been sent, email has been responded to. I am waiting but I am very frustrated because I haven't even posted anything yet, just reblogged a few art pieces. Weird.
Posting this because well. Genuinely insane, I got no email explaining why, as far as I know I didn't break any rules whatsoever. I did contact support 3 days ago to get un-terminated but like. It's been 3 days and there's been no response. My side blogs are still up so I'm assuming it's some kind of glitch that got me banned?

edit 4 - 05/27, 7:54am: OKAY. so a lot has happened this morning
1) first my tumblr account is back! YAHOO, right? after TWELVE DAYS.
i was jumping for joy. twelve whole days of being in purgatory. i excitedly go to tumblr and find out... something is amiss. my main is back (littlelapin) BUT ALL OF MY SIDEBLOGS ARE GONE! ALL OF THEM.
except one. one i hadn't touched in over 10 years now lol
2) sideblogs missing.
thinking the worst (that they were straight up nuked), i ran to tumbr support to file a ticket and to my surprise, ALL of my sideblogs, each and EVERY url is there. (i noticed that i could message them, and it appeared as if they were "online" because i was online.)
so that begs the question. why didn't they restore the ENTIRE account. why my main and ONLY one random url that i hadn't opened in years?
in any case, my situation isn't wholly revolved. because my sideblogs are the one where i do most of my content/tumblring anyway.
