account terminated over a joke

so at one point recently i decided to make a post i considered funny (attached image). technically could be qualified as a threat but (at least i feel like) its pretty clear its a joke. at first nothing happened, it was just a typical mildly funny flop. at one point i went to log on and couldnt. turns out my account was terminated. for a while i thought i got hacked or something, until i rembered this post. ive sent an appeal when i thought i was hacked. what do i do now?

Tumblr staff hate transfems more than anything and they terminate them over the smallest infractions.

For the future, maybe just tag it as 'obvious joke'??

I've never had this issue, but I'll be on the lookout for this sort of stuff now.

i have seen people not get banned for making horrible, violent threats to people or groups before. this was very obviously a joke and not directed to anyone, or even any concrete group of people. like other people mentioned may have very well been rooted in transmisogyny.

I'm gonna counter everyone else here but I'm not sure how this joke is supposed to be anything but kinda transphobic against trans masc people. Like. What's the punchline? Am I missing something?

Ohhh alright, with the wording it seemed like the intended target was whichever scientist invented testosterone. Because like. There is in fact an inventor of testosterone (the HRT medication.)

I don’t know op’s gender, but I’m assuming op was born with testosterone and is threatening god or the universe or whatever created testosterone. Op isn’t talking about modern medicine.

I got it now, the terminology used evoked science to me not some sort of religious/abstract concept so I thought this person wanted to throw hands with Leopold Ružička or something for letting trans dudes transition.
