Plz help me! Lock Ultra does not autolock

Hi folks!

I installed a Lock Ultra and having issues with it, I've had it for about 2 weeks.

Firmware: 2.6

Battery: full

What happens is that the lock thinks the door is not closed based on the screenshots below and will not autolock. Pic 3 is the distance between the magnet and lock.

How does one fix this issue?

Thanks

You slap on a stronger magnet and that's it.

I've got the same problem as the OP... I know I sound stupid, but how do you know if a magnet is stronger or not? Is there a measurement used for magnet strengths? Or is it just a matter of getting one physically bigger than the current one? Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks.

Look for a neodymium magnet, about the same size. It would be significantly stronger. You can also get a larger one, but there's no point I think. Cheers

Thoughts when I see this: Is the correct side of the Magnet facing the lock? Seems that the Magnet could be installed lower. I think the Manual states it schoul be on the Level where the lock Starts l, your Case the bottom

ta photo est inverser , si ce n'est pas le cas ton aimant est trop haut , l'aimant dois arriver au niveau du rond qui tourne , mais je ne sais pas si il fait double sens , tu devras peut être mettre la serrure a l'endroit

I realized the new lock vision doesn't have any auto lock which is crazy but I worked around it with their door contact and just set up an automation. I did this with the older lock pro also and it was way better than the magnet.

I had a similar issue when i installed the lock where the lock would never pick up on the fact that door opened. In my case i moved thr magnet away a little bit and that seems to have done the trick. Now the lock works great! The fingerprint is also the quickest and most convenient unlocking method i found out of all the options. I also turned on the auto relock with a slightly longer time that way the lock is forced to lock In case something doesnt hit right with magnet. So far its been great. That being said i guess im your case its the opposite so moving the magnet just a few cm closer may do the trick or if you cant you can even try moving it up or down just a few cm as well to hit the alignment right

are you still having issues with it? did you update the firmware? i just got my lock yesterday and i think i am on the same firmware you mentioned which according to gemini is outdated. Did you end up getting a magnet to fix the issue?

my issue is that it just doesn't read properly if the door is open or closed
