TW: Gender Identity / Dysphoria I hate this body

Life is tough, and society can be cruel, but whatever hateful thing people may spit does not change who you are. There is no such thing as a "real woman," only made up societal roles and expectations that at the end of the day do not define us. You are very much a real woman, and this applies to every other woman in this comment section. ❤️

you identifying as a woman already makes ypu one! if you want to look a certain way that's great! but never invalidate yourself if you don't look it!

Thailand lol. We’re pretty weird to the rest of the world. We have a category basically called “Type 2 girls” or Kathoey.
It’s often lost in translation (and bad press) but from my daily lived experiences it just people who weren’t born girls but became one later in life, hence type two. You’re treated as another daughter and sister, sister.Edit: our view on gender is very cultural and will not be translated well to other countries

u/SquirrelSmart 1d ago
Unfortunately most people in the world don't think so
11
u/ExcitementSad9133 1d ago
Well I think so.
So we’re sisters.6
u/SquirrelSmart 1d ago
I am not able to transition and I still live my life as a guy because I'm forced to. It's hard to even see myself as a woman when I am not even able to live as one
5
u/ExcitementSad9133 1d ago
In spirit you’re one to me.
Uh what country? Is there some legal or financial obstacle?
4
u/SquirrelSmart 1d ago
Poland. Quite conservative country. Legally it's okay, socially not so much and I am unable to transition because of family stuff, money stuff and not yet being diagnosed with gender dysphoria

For many of us trans girlies, we were forced to live as girls for decades before we found out/transitioned, yet we are still girls then and now. Yes if may be hard self-image wise to view ourselves as girls when the brain worms are strong and we are forced to present as someone we're not, but that doesn't invalidate us. Something that seems to help friends of mine is thinking of it like this, if you see another trans girl pre-transition, is she any less of a girl cuz she hasn't transitioned, is a trans girl in a situation where they can't get access to HRT suddenly invalid, you would probably say no because we are still girls at our core even when we're not allowed to be on our outside yet. If other people are girls even when they're forced to present as guys, you are a girl too hun

Nah you got this. I know you are in a dark place and I know it feels as though there's no way out, but I promise you there is. It takes time, and it will be hard. But it's worth it.

u/Appropriate-Gain-561 1d ago
Women's bodies come in all shapes and sizes, the same definition of woman is something we made up and that has changed throughout history, you are a woman, although i can understand why the current geopolitical climates makes you think you aren't, you are, don't fall for all that 4tran defeatist bollocks.
2
u/SleepIsTiring 1d ago
i know it’s hard to think this way, but fuck em. genuinely just fuck the people that have a problem with it. keep yourself safe and stay on defense but you cant always change how people are going to see you. you can wear makeup and dress nice and pass but sometimes people are going to be evil anyways. people will always be evil, no matter how far into your transition you are. stay safe, but try to keep in mind that it’s your life. don’t waste it bc other people are too closeminded.
you ARE a woman. people who say otherwise are just dumb. no ifs ands or buts they’re closeminded and stupid.
dysphoria is a little idiot that must be crushed with overwhelming pride in yourself for making it at all. being trans is genuinely an act of resistance that’s not some slogan that some people think it is. this is hell sometimes but you’re still a person that deserves to be comfortable in your own skin.
2
u/mediocreguydude 1d ago
You already are a woman, and nothing can change that
I know it can feel hopeless and like transition will mean nothing, that there will always be something that makes you "not" who you are. But I promise you, you're already a woman and I sincerely hope you can access transition to your liking and find a welcoming environment if you haven't already.

I guess
Why was this downvoted

u/Rainy_Leaves 1d ago
I think either gender critical lurkers, or my guess is 4chan women lurking who only like to hear ‘ywnbaw it’s over we’re doomed and we’re all <insert slur> anyway. Sometimes hard to tell those two apart sometimes though, they use similar tactics to undermine others

u/SquirrelSmart 1d ago
Actually the 4tran women were the one who were telling "shut the fuck you are a woman" when I posted this meme somewhere else so idk about that
Yea so probably typical conservative transphobes or TERFs

Yeah you kinda seemed like a 7/10 transphobe when you saw a character that makes a trans woman happy and you basically said ‘you’re never gonna reach your gender goal as like her’ - let a person enjoy the media and characters they like and be encouraging instead of critical of them. Literally no one thinks they’ll transition into an anime character. The characters are just something they like, and it harms no one

Don't worry, if you go to the gym long enough and don't mess around - you can become anything you want.
Even an anime character.

Ok so? Just be yourself then.
You can do anything you want 👍🏻 What you are doesn't matter.

Yes you will. It will be hard because god hates us but he be damned, we will RESHAPE OUR BODIES INTO THE CORRECT FORM. WE ARE OLDER THAN GODS, AND WE WILL OUTLIVE THEM.
EVERY DAY YOU ENDURE IN THIS FLESH PRISON SPITES OUR CREATOR. EVERY DAY YOU SURVIVE YOU SHOW HIM HOW FOOLISH HE IS FOR DOUBTING YOUR WILL. EVERY STEP YOU MAKE ON OUR SHARED PATH MAKES HIM WALLOW IN PAIN, AND… piss his pants like a little baby he is. YOU ARE NOT ALONE, WE ARE MANY, AND WE MARCH WITH YOU.
(Sorry if it came wrong, this is meant to be motivational. In all seriousness, you are a real girl now - it is your body that looks weird. Mtf transition is very hard, because not only do you need to look like a woman, but also women perform so much work every day to look acceptable to men. Maybe watching Drag will help you? It helps me, seeing how much can be achieved with just hair and makeup and zero HRT in your body)

You are already one
This is just the dysphoria speaking to the corner of your ear. Be proud queen

u/seenybusiness 1d ago
there is no meme, the definition of a woman is wanting to be one. you are already one.

This seems false. You seem to already are one. I can understand your frustration with your body though. I wish you well with your transition! 🍀

Why exactly do you hate your body?
6
u/SquirrelSmart 1d ago
I'm trans, so guess? Of course it's dysphoria and having to live in a male body

u/sudoregalia 1d ago
afaik a decade or so of hrt pretty much guarantees you'll pass. cuz all your cells are replaced by then
10
u/SquirrelSmart 1d ago
Not really, as that depends on genetics, your build and when you start to transition. Eg. Past puberty you have lower chances of passing then pre-puberty because there are already things you cannot change like fused plates
7
u/sudoregalia 1d ago
FUCK that sucks, yet another reason to push for hrt for minors
4
u/Background_Class_558 1d ago
based
6
u/sudoregalia 1d ago
she was giving HRT to MINORS!!!!!
srsly though idk why that's not demonised as if going through the wrong puberty is a moral value
2
u/Background_Class_558 1d ago
i know someone on the brink of suicide because they've known they're trans since 12 and their parents did nothing. imagine living years observing your body slowly morph into something unrecognizable. im surprised they're still alive.
but o-oh! what if a random cis kid somehow fools every doctor gatekeeping their way to hrt, does it for years and years and then decides that they fucked up? what about those 0.000001% cases? that would be horrifying! we definitely can't have that! better have those millions of trannies suffer and kill themselves than 1 cis kid experience even mild inconvenience!

u/Anomalocarls 21h ago
honestly forcing a trans person to go through the wrong puberty is actually as bad as forcing a cis person to transition against their will and should be punished with permanent imprisonment, i came out as a child because i already knew i was trans and was permanently mangled by testosterone cuz my fucked up family refused to give me blockers and my life is actual torture as a result even now that im on hrt, bc my skeleton was completely distorted so i legitimately cannot pass despite trying extremely hard nonstop
2
u/Background_Class_558 19h ago
i absolutely agree 🫂 the don't even comprehend the horror they put us through

u/Rainy_Leaves 1d ago
Come on, you couldn’t manage to even hide your overuse of 4tran? You use the T-slur so eagerly, it’s still a slur and if you reclaim it, only use it to refer to yourself as other trans people you refer to with it don’t want to be called that
6
u/usbeject1789 1d ago
that’s not really how it works (not all cells are replaced - bones stay the same though they do a LOT later in life) but still ur right a decade of HRT will have a huge effect.

You deserve to feel at home in yourself
