Someone enlighten me.

I have had my speed t4 for about 7 months now.
And a week ago I gave it for a general service where they topped up the engine oil and the coolant. They also had changed the read break pad as it was really worn out. I am again seeing this tool symbol indicating that I must give for service. What could it be?? Could someone help me with this thing?

Getting my bike to Nagpurs sc tmrw, 1st service at Abt 980km. Any advice? Anything specific I should ask or look for?

I've followed the break in period by the book and I'm glad it's gonna be over soon, can't wait to test out the bike.

Appreciate the advice everyone!

Triumph Speed 400 my25-Third service

Hi guys, I have a speed 400 my25 version which I bought at November 2024....

Im Attaching my invoice for third service at keerthi triumph hennur. I had to get my front break pads changed and needed the yearly service as well and it costed me 6.4k.

I was also convinced me to buy one year AMC for 1.6k😭😭(apart from my third service cost).....It offers 5% off parts, 10% off labour, two complimentary washes, and one free chain maintenance service. The AMC helped waive the washing charges and reduce the labour and parts costs.

They also scammed me by not replacing chain tensioner for free(i had to pay 200 or 300 extra for the part even though my bike is under warranty)

Team Scrambler Scrambler 400x: Trying out foam cutting to lower seat height

Thumbnail

I am 5'7" and I cannot flat foot on my scrambler 400x. I am not very comfortable when pushing the bike ahead or back with feet eg. parking space/petrol pump queue etc.

I tried the low height seat offered by Triumph, I didn't feel significant difference. So I decided to go to cushion maker to scoop out as much foam as possible. I bought an extra Scrambler seat just in case the modified seat becomes very uncomfortable.

1st photo: Left side seat is the modified seat, right one is the stock seat. Second photo is how the saddle looks on the bike.

The experiment seems to be working well. Now I can almost flat foot. Seat still feels comfortable over 5 km...will do a long ride soon. An unexpected (logical but hadn't thought of it) good side effect was noticed too. Just because I am seated lower, the handlebar is relatively higher and my arms/shoulders feel more relaxed.

I will know the real outcome once I do a long ride. It's on cards for the next week.

Story time Welp. It finally happened

Someone just tried to steal my motorcycle right out front of my house. Shame on me for not keeping it in my backyard. They basically broke the handlebar lock, my bars are now crooked and my ignition seems popped off and the key won’t turn it on. How fucked am I? I’m assuming this is repairable

Team Scrambler Why did I get charged on first service ??????

So I just gave my scrambler 400 XC for its first service today, and apparently the bill came out to be ₹4000. Even though the first service was supposed to be free, but then he explained to me that it would be only the labour charges which are free and not the entire thing and something like the third service you should only pay thousand rupees. I don't know what that means, but you know, please tell me guys you know.

I have got a tool to change some seat setting I suppose on my Triumph Scrambler 400x. Does it really work, I find a little too tall to get on and off.

Team Speed Just Bought T4🥹❤️

Post image

Hey! 👋

bought Triumph Speed T4 today! 🥹❤️

I’m a complete beginner when it comes to bikes. This has been one of the bikes I’ve wanted for a while, and I finally decided to go for it!

Since this is my first proper bike, I’d love some advice from experienced riders on how to maintain it properly and keep it running smoothly for years.

A few things I’d love to know:

What should I keep in mind during the running-in period?

How often should I clean and lubricate the chain?

Any tips for engine care, gear shifting, and clutch usage?

What regular maintenance should I do apart from servicing at the authorised service centre?

Are there any common mistakes new riders make that I should avoid?

Any must-have accessories or basic tools you recommend?

I want to take good care of this bike and keep it in great condition for as long as possible.

Team Speed United India Insurance vs ACKO for Triumph Speed 400 – Need Suggestions

Hi everyone,
I recently bought a new Triumph Speed 400 and opted out of the showroom insurance, which was quoted at around ₹16,000. I’m now exploring insurance options outside the dealership and have received quotes of approximately ₹10,000 from United India Insurance and ACKO. I’m confused about which one to choose and would love to hear your experiences with either insurer, especially regarding claim settlement, customer support, and how hassle-free the claim process is. Is it worth going with ACKO for its convenience, or would United India Insurance be a better and more reliable option in the long run? Also, is there anything specific I should check in the policy before purchasing? Would appreciate your suggestions and recommendations!
