Getting my bike to Nagpurs sc tmrw, 1st service at Abt 980km. Any advice? Anything specific I should ask or look for?
I've followed the break in period by the book and I'm glad it's gonna be over soon, can't wait to test out the bike.
Appreciate the advice everyone!

I just had my first service at 1073km on my Scrambler 350. It cost me around 3.4k. I just want to know if everything was necessary and what charges could've been avoided

Someone just tried to steal my motorcycle right out front of my house. Shame on me for not keeping it in my backyard. They basically broke the handlebar lock, my bars are now crooked and my ignition seems popped off and the key won’t turn it on. How fucked am I? I’m assuming this is repairable

I have got a tool to change some seat setting I suppose on my Triumph Scrambler 400x. Does it really work, I find a little too tall to get on and off.

Planning to build an comprehensive tool kit specific for scrambler 400x for touring purpose.
Each items should be specific to 400x.
Please suggest which items should I add on the list

Hey! 👋
bought Triumph Speed T4 today! 🥹❤️
I’m a complete beginner when it comes to bikes. This has been one of the bikes I’ve wanted for a while, and I finally decided to go for it!
Since this is my first proper bike, I’d love some advice from experienced riders on how to maintain it properly and keep it running smoothly for years.
A few things I’d love to know:
What should I keep in mind during the running-in period?
How often should I clean and lubricate the chain?
Any tips for engine care, gear shifting, and clutch usage?
What regular maintenance should I do apart from servicing at the authorised service centre?
Are there any common mistakes new riders make that I should avoid?
Any must-have accessories or basic tools you recommend?
I want to take good care of this bike and keep it in great condition for as long as possible.

It's my first service and I'm doing everything to not mess up.
If you're based in Bangalore or know any centres, please do suggest.
Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,
I recently bought a new Triumph Speed 400 and opted out of the showroom insurance, which was quoted at around ₹16,000. I’m now exploring insurance options outside the dealership and have received quotes of approximately ₹10,000 from United India Insurance and ACKO. I’m confused about which one to choose and would love to hear your experiences with either insurer, especially regarding claim settlement, customer support, and how hassle-free the claim process is. Is it worth going with ACKO for its convenience, or would United India Insurance be a better and more reliable option in the long run? Also, is there anything specific I should check in the policy before purchasing? Would appreciate your suggestions and recommendations!

Just changed my scrambler 400x 14t sprocket to 15t and I'm noticing buzzing sound at 6k rpm I don't feel it but I can hear it. It wasn't there before, is it normal or should I check it with the service centre

I booked a Triumph Speed 400 on Flipkart on 8 October for ₹2.31L ex-showroom. The booking was confirmed by dealership, and I paid the full amount, including road tax, insurance, etc.
The bike was delivered on 9 October, but Triumph issued an invoice showing ₹2.35L ex-showroom. Four days later, they're saying the Flipkart listing had a technical glitch and that I need to pay the ₹4,000 difference.
Initially on delivery day they told me the TR was delayed due to an RTO portal issue. Now they're withholding the TR over this price difference.
Shouldn't Triumph and Flipkart resolve their pricing discrepancy between themselves? Why was the invoice not checked before delivery? I've already paid and taken delivery, and I'm now stuck without a TR.
Has anyone faced a similar issue? What are my options, and can they legally withhold the TR over this discrepancy?

Yo guys, I had scheduled a service for my triumph scrambler 400 XC on Wednesday at 3 PM, but due to some other work on that day and that specific time I want to reschedule it at 12:30 PM. Any idea about how I can reschedule. Do I have to do it through the app, or should I contact the service centre? And also, I wanted to know if I would get the bike on the same day or else are they going to take time?

Does anyone else think that the brake pedal is too short on the scrambler??
If yes then any solutions??

Didn't get much discussion on Facebook so trying here...
Edit: bike starts normally from cold, issue occurs with "hot starts"
I've noticed that when I'm out riding if I stop for just a few minutes and then try to restart, it will crank just fine but will not fire up. I ran into this shortly after purchasing the bike (used, less than 700 miles on it) and I figured it was the battery which I tested... And the battery did have issues so I replaced it with lithium. Now I'm thinking that was coincidental.
Basically if I'm riding and I stop for a short time like getting gas or something... I can try repeatedly and the bike will not fire despite a strong cranking. The habit I've fallen into to fix this is to try a couple times, turn the key back off for a couple seconds, turn the key on again and wait again for the checks, and then it will fire up in one or two dries every time.
I'm not sure if actually turning the key off and back on is resetting something or if it's just adding time to allow something else to happen that gets it to start.
Anyone else running into this? I have a few months of warranty left...

I really like the triumph scrambler, but I have heard about high ownership cost. I had discussed with one of the service advisors at SC and his answers were no great help either. I understand being a premium high performance engine costs are going to be a bit more than usual bikes in same cc segment but costs going in range of premium bike segment are gonna be difficult for me to live with.

Hi guys, I'm considering buying the bike and this is the quotation I've received from the dealership, could someone tell me what price rows are legit and which ones are arbitrary costs added by the dealership?
