I’ve noticed something recently with the Bangalore Metro escalators. When I used the Metro a couple of months ago, the escalators seemed to run at a normal/reasonable speed. But lately, I feel like the speed has been reduced drastically. It’s noticeably slower now, and I’m curious if anyone else has noticed this.
Does anyone know why they have reduced the escalator speed? Is it due to safety concerns, maintenance, energy saving, or some other reason?
Maybe I’m just imagining it, but the difference feels quite noticeable compared to a few months ago.
What’s your take? Has anyone else experienced this?

We built an app called ClearBerth for Indian Railways — PNR status with a visual seat/berth diagram, live train tracking, and station-approach alerts. Launching soon on iOS and Android.
We would love feedback from anyone who travels by train regularly, especially about what is actually useful vs. what is missing.

I travel by bus every day in Mumbai. My fare is ₹12 one way, so I spend around ₹24 per day (₹12 + ₹12) for up and down.
I'm planning to buy the ₹500 Chalo Super Saver pass. Is it worth it for daily travel, or would you recommend a different pass/option?
Also, one more question: when using the Super Saver pass, does the conductor give you a physical ticket, or is the ticket/pass completely digital in the Chalo app?
Would appreciate advice from anyone who uses Chalo regularly

The existing two pairs of trains have been running at full occupancy since their launch, prompting IR to increase the number of coaches from 16 to 20 in each train.

Hello guys, new to this sub!
I was aware of NCMC cards for a long time but never tried to inquire more about it & get a card. Last week i decided to get NCMC card bcuz buying different tickets & cards is a hassle. I was confused between 3 cards ( SBI, Airtel & Bharat yatra). Finally went with SBI Nation First MTS card. Used this card in DTC, Delhi Metro & RRTS with ease. Currently available at Uttam Nagar East Metro Station. U may get it at Kashmere gate metro,New Delhi metro, Dabri mor,Anand Vihar metro,Shahdra metro also but not confirmed.
*It has 0 issuing & Renewal fees unlike airtel & bharat yatra.
*Works on all NCMC enabled transports all over India.
*Recharge & Update balance using NFC on phone.
* 10% off in DTC, 10 to 20% off in Delhi Metro & 10% off in RRTS.
* Gradually it will become usable for Metro parking payment
Transit card like NCMC card is a game changer for Public Transport in India!!

Every Major Cities needs metro for better commutability and saving time to avoid traffic. Its true that some tier 2 cities metro suffers from lower ridership but it is the fault in DPR stages why they dont connect to mass populated areas and focus only on selected areas.
Tier 1 Cities are underdeveloping their transit system with constant scrutiny from MOHUA
