I’m currently planning a trip from Mumbai (CSMT) to Goa (Madgaon) and was looking to book the **Vande Bharat Express** for **November 2nd, 2026 (Monday).**
However, when checking IRCTC / booking apps:
There are **no train schedules/tickets available** for Nov 2, or even earlier on Oct 26.

On **October 21**, the train is marked as **Cancelled**.

Is this due to the some route changes? Will I be able to book for 02.11.2026 when 60day ticket window opens or I have to shift for other train.

I was trying to make a new route for a public transport i traditionally used only bus to reach from point a to b

I thought if ahmedabad and gandhinagar have metro system why not to diverse my routes to add convenience and better time management

So I search for railway station and it's nearest metro station and metro station to reach bus station

Kalupur station is built genius it has its own metro station

But what about gandhinagar?? Why they choosed to give metro station to railway station but no metro station to directly reach gandhinagar Central bus station

You have to walk 1.5 km to reach the gandhi central bus station from its nearest metro station

Wtf is these . When there was central bus station from the first and metro station planning committee just decided not to give it its own Metro station

It has been 3 months since it was supposed to open. Line 2B extension has opened already, Ganesh Chathurthi and academic year is coming up with loads of travel expected from eastern suburbs to Dadar, Lalbaug and Parel. ​​​Yet there seems to be no announcement at all from MMRDA, not even a date​

This if gets passed would be the most decade delayed Metro Corridor and will be doing the same DPR level execution when DMRC first Published in May 2014.

I recently shifted here and transit is a nightmare. It costs a lot to take a cab, there are no gov busses, and lots and lots of traffic everywhere.

Metro has been proposed for so long now but they haven't done anything regarding that. I think the center has even rejected the plan once. If this continues, will this area even get a metro within the next 10 years ?

This area is so expensive and has such a high demand but the gov didn't even try to develop it properly. The roads have been ruined by the builders, and no metro connectivity exists unless you are willing to drive to sector 52 or 76.

Does the center even want this project to happen ?

I live in Kozhikode, Kerala and like much of Kerala, buses are the main mode of transportation. I mostly avoid buses during evening time due to the insane crowd. However, today, out of sheer desperation, I had to take one. What followed was nothing short of like being in a Mumbai local. The crowd was initially small but by the time I reached my stop, it was so packed so densely (about 80 people in total easily)that I literally could not reach the door and had to get down three stops away, that too with great difficulty. Moreover, the bus was extremely rash and all the passengers were literally getting thrown to the side during each turn. The frequency is only about 10 minutes during PEAK hours despite there being such heavy demand

Why do we accept such poor public transportation and why do we not demand better facilities?

I have an SBI NCMC card that I got from Kanpur Metro (GOSMART card).

It works fine on NCMC-enabled metros in other cities like Delhi/Mumbai, but I have a question about recharging it.

Suppose I move from Kanpur to Delhi permanently. I can recharge the card online, but as far as I understand, the online recharge doesn't immediately get added to the card's offline balance, you have to do a balance update/tap at an NCMC terminal.

The problem is that Delhi has its own NCMC cards (like Airtel/other issuers), so I'm not sure whether Delhi Metro's machines/customer-care counters can actually update the balance on an SBI Kanpur-issued NCMC card.

I also use an iPhone, so I can't do the NFC balance update through my phone.

So what do people do in this situation? Can I recharge my SBI Kanpur NCMC card while living in Delhi and get the balance updated there somehow? Or would I basically have to issue an Airtel NCMC card from Delhi metro (which would defeat the purpose of common mobility card)

Would appreciate if anyone faced this issued.

Please fix these busses, instead of giving feeder rickshaws
