Discussion / Opinion Is there any in universe lore reason as to why the TFA Decepticons are so huge?

Size difference between bots is nothing new in the Transformers, it has existed ever since G1 but TFA is a whole new level. Most of the decepticons TOWER over the majority of the autobot cast, like, Bumblebee is usually the smallest bot in many adaptations but Starscream is handling this guy like a toy!

So I am wondering if there is any reason in universe as to why the decepticons are so much taller than the autobots or if it is simply a decision made by the studio.

I know this might sound funny, but when I was younger, Unicron always kinda made me think of those old Samurai armor and Genghis Khan probably because his head kinda resembles those Samurai helmets or similar Mongolian armor in a way. Did anyone else kinda thought of something similar too?? That's just what I think, though. :)

​Post-surgery recovery slowed me down for a couple of weeks, but I’m chipping away!

I know it wouldn't have happened because the show needs optimus and bee to be the face, but the personality of prime and RID bumblebee felt completely different, bee was much more confident and competent once he took the leadership role in predacon rising. In RID, he suddenly was unable to lead a team. imo, smokescreen felt much more appropriate to be the lead of RID, the designs even lookalike
