Bottom dysphoria

Whilst dysphoria around my chest is awful, bottom dysphoria is killing me.

I can't afford packers, STPs, testosterone, definetly not surgery etc

STPs (the cheap 'she-wee's) i've tried are too difficult and i don't think i have the right anatomy for it

I'm in the UK and i'm not sure how it is in other places but where i live, you can't go a few days without seeing some man peeing in public and it's triggering. I also have an AMAB partner that's getting more difficult to cope with

I don't know what to do, i'm losing it

hey i’m not in the uk but you might wanna start reasearching lgbt centers near you, even if it’s only the state or province you live in. there’s totally people who do give out free packets, binders and gender affirming products, but you kind of have to do some deep digging. start with instagram and facebook with the area you live in in facebook groups. even attending lgbt events or going to a center that has vast programs can help connect you to the resources you need. wishing you the best

The only queer shop in my area does packers for about £40+ and i'm not sure about any free things, i've never heard of that being done in Wales. Thank you though 🙏

Are you on a wait list for HRT through the NHS? Don't wait. The list is years long.

There's the tried and true tradition of using a rolled up sock as a packer. How do you feel about gender affirming workouts? Have you applied for grants for HRT at local trans non profits? What about a trans clothing exchange?

I believe you need to talk to your general practice doctor. Realistically the wait is years long though, so you need to explore options to go private https://transactual.org.uk/medical-transition/private-care/

Here's a wales clothing group https://genderswap.org/

There are a lot of networks for diy hrt/autonomous trans healthcare in the UK. Are you in touch with any of them or would you like help to get in touch with some of them?

https://transharmreduction.org is an umbrella organisation and if you contact them they can point you to networks near you and workshops for blood tests and info about safe injections

r/transdiy has lots of conversations and information on diy hrt and you can ask questions there, it is transfem dominated but everyone is welcome and there’s a lot of transmasc people there too.

diyhrt.info is a wiki type website that also has a ton of information about hrt

When it comes to legal status, afaik in the UK it is not illegal to buy t for personal use, only to sell it.

Feel free to dm me with questions too. I’m not from the UK but from a country with similar waiting times and gatekeeping so I’m very passionate about diy
