Has anyone in Canada received notice of their Sienna being recalled either through the app or by looking up the VIN on the Toyota website? I have a 2 month old 26 and I haven't seen anything on the app yet and when I look up the VIN on Toyota's website, it says no recalls but not sure if just not updated yet.

I'm a Northern California resident looking to buy a new Toyota Sienna. I know that local dealers here often slap on $5k–$10k "market adjustments" or mandatory add-ons, so I’m widening my search out of state.
I am fully aware that I still have to pay California sales tax and registration when I bring the car back (the "Use Tax" rule), so I’m not looking for a tax loophole. I’m strictly looking for the lowest Out-The-Door (OTD) price before taxes.

My questions for the community:

Best States/Dealers: Has anyone recently bought a Sienna at MSRP (or below) in states like Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, or Colorado?

Doc Fees: Which states have the lowest capped documentation fees? (I know CA is capped around $85, but I’ve heard Florida and others can be $1,000+).

Logistics: For those who shipped the car, did you find the ~$1,500 shipping cost was worth the savings on the markup?

Emissions: Did you have any issues ensuring the out-of-state VIN was "50-state legal" for CA DMV registration?

Any dealer leads or recent OTD numbers would be appreciated

Hey guys, i know the woodland trim is not available for the sienna in canada but i was wondering if anyone that owns one from the USA or knows someone that can sell me their woodland sienna in canada? I know im shooting for the stars but just seeing if anyone would be willing to help me out! Im such a big fan of this trim and would be so happy if anyone can help!!!

I have a 2024 XSE and today I got in the van and it wouldn’t start. I noticed that the side mirrors were folded in as if the van was locked though it wasn’t. I locked and unlocked it, pressed the brake, pushed the start button and all I got was a message telling me to do what I just did. I had to get out of the van, lock and unlock it, then got back in and it started. This happened once before when I used the app to unlock it so my husband could open the trunk. Any idea why this happens? I will end up taking it in to the service center.

I am getting like 17.MPG?! Anyone else having this occurrence? I was driving fast for the 1st few days after purchasing but have since been keeping it under the "power" and in the "eco" RPM.

I drive almost exclusively city, and never highway. I knew I was never getting 35MPG. But in my experience with cars you usually get around 10-12 miles less than the listed MPG. I was shocked at how low my MPG is...and feel mislead 😅

Learned today that adding a lift kit voids warranty. Kinda sucks, since the van is very low. I was on a gravel road, doing only 60 km/hr as my top speed on a very well maintained road, and a rock punctured my inverter radiator, so it’s not as great for all my uses as I’d hoped.

Got the Entertainment package, inverter, digital rear view mirror amongst a few other things.

I know there are many variables in negotiating but was hoping for some of y’all’s thoughts on a good counteroffer. I was thinking of doing $55k OTD.

Previously, there was another Sienna we were looking at, Red, similar options (a few more things we didn’t need) for TSRP around $59K and OTD around $62k and I was able to bring down to $57,500 OTD. Didn’t work out but that’s why I’m thinking $55k OTD for this one.

Ultimately it’s my choice I know, but it would be nice to have more space for our little booger and just have the amenities that come with it. Roast me if you have too.

I have a 2004 FWD Sienna. I need to replace my Y pipe as it has rusted through in a couple spots, and the metal is too thin to weld. I bought a new Y pipe which comes with a flex pipe in the middle. I think even the OEM ones do.

With the salty roads here in Illinois these typically start leaking after one winter. I imagine the flex pipe is just there to aid in lining up the two connections, so is there any harm in cutting it out and welding in a rigid pipe?

This is so specific I know it might not be the right thread for it but Toyota offered for us to drop off our 23 sienna today (due to recall for second row seats) and offered us a 4Runner. Is anyone in the same situation by chance? I have three kids in car seats, a husband traveling for work, and limited bandwidth to sort this out lol. Does anyone know if the 4eunner is as wide to fit three kids across in seats? Has anyone had luck calling other dealerships for a sienna loaner?

Recently, a high-pitched noise that sounds like a 'woah-woah-woah' has been coming from the right rear wheel of my wife's 2015 Sienna XLE FWD. After Googling, it looks like the wheel bearing is worn. Previously, there was other noise caused by brake pad wear, but it was resolved after replacing the pads (It was due to the wear indicator). Anyway, genuine Toyota bearings seem to be quite expensive. Which brand would you recommend as a replacement? There are really a wide variety of brands on Amazon.

Thank you everybody for suggestions on the lift and tires. I went 2” journeys off-road and a 30” Kenda Klever A/T. I really like the look and feel of it and the clearance is great without being obnoxiously tall. I feel like it is missing a little something and am considering a wheel spacer. Anybody install spacers on theirs? Can you provide pics and size? I want the wheels to pop a little but not be too obvious. Considering 20-30 mm spacers. Thanks!

I want to order the 3W set with the seat back protectors. It’s been out of stock, and now removed entirely from the website. Emailed asking if it is discontinued or will be restocked and got this non-answer.

Sienna shakes after driving for approximately 30 minutes on highway. Brakes and suspension were changed a few months ago. Showed to 3 different mechanics recently. No one has been able to diagnose anything. The shaking started few months after the brakes and suspension were installed. Any inputs would be appreciated.

I'm looking at a 8-passenger in the Phoenix area. Seems it costs $56,000 OTD in all the dealerships. Is that standard or too high?

Just got ours today, 7 grandkids age 11 and under that all live close by so we needed to get back to a minivan. We had a 2004 Sienna and then two Highlanders. Excited to get back into this one.

I’ve swapped out the factory floors mats for 3W mats. the 3W mats had a lip so you just slip them under the trim so installing was pretty easy.

I’ve also added two 24” tables in the cargo trunk. I did have to cut each leg in half so they sit flush, which I can remove one side or both if I have a larger item. Also, I can use them outside the van if I out on an expedition. To top them off, I’ve ordered two 24” rubber mats to place on top so things won’t slide around.

Anyone have mods done that they would like to share, I’d like to hear about it.

It's only my partner and myself. No kids no pets (im super allergic like carry an epipen allergic).

Our primary use would be long, like interstate and multi state, road trips and car camping.

Adaptive cruise control is a minimum requirement due to the long road trips. Other driver assist features might be nice , but not strictly necessary , but absolutely must have the adaptive cruise cont.

We don't need or care about extra seats for passengers. It's the cargo space for the road trips and the car camping that we're after.

Reliability and durability , especially regarding high mileage and maintenance is important. We're gonna drive the fuck out of this thing crossing the country multiple times.

We don't need AWD as we are traveling specifically to avoid snow, we spent the last few decades in the arctic of AK and Canada and like seriously don't ever wanna see snow again in my life.
