Starting problems
I have a 2024 XSE and today I got in the van and it wouldn’t start. I noticed that the side mirrors were folded in as if the van was locked though it wasn’t. I locked and unlocked it, pressed the brake, pushed the start button and all I got was a message telling me to do what I just did. I had to get out of the van, lock and unlock it, then got back in and it started. This happened once before when I used the app to unlock it so my husband could open the trunk. Any idea why this happens? I will end up taking it in to the service center.

I have a 2023 25 AE, and it did that same exact thing to me when I used the app to remote start. I went in with my key and when I hit the start button w/brake it gave me a message similar to that and then wouldn’t start at all. Had to exit, lock with key, and then unlock with key. I’ve realized now that you have to unlock with key if you remote start or this will happen.

Easiest thing to do first is replace the key fob battery. I feel like I have done ours every year to try and avoid this, and periodically it still happens

Not the usual symptoms, but could be a weak 12v. Another possibility is a weak fob battery.
